GoogleMonday the 19th may I called into safestorage in swanley to reserve a unit. I spoke with a young gentleman called Danny who was very cooperative and knowledgeable on all questions that I asked ,he was only too happy to show me various unit sizes so I could decide on which one that would be best for me!
The other young gentleman Phil also helped me with various quotes and helped me decide on the best deal for me.
There was no pressure to sign up for anything.
I would highly recommend them both 😀

GoogleSafestore Swanley is staffed by very pleasant young people who take pride in their work and are professional, polite and knowledgeable. I dealt with Danny mainly who was a pleasure to speak to. I was able to obtain storage at relatively short notice. They are more expensive than other storage facilities in Swanley but are based in a more convenient location with the storage units all being inside the building whereas elsewhere the storage units were outside. The facility itself appears clean and modern.

GoogleVery disappointed with the standard of Storage at Swanley SAFESTORE ! and their Management response to my complaint. All of my belongings, furniture etc has returned after a very short four week rental, cold, damp, and evidence of Rodents in one of our storage boxs. One of the three units clearly is unfit for purpose, I have been told today, to use the Insurance claim procedure for the damaged items.........and no refunds are forthcoming, which of course as a customer you pay top dollar for ! The items damaged by the Rodents is very upsetting indeed, their value irrelevant, just simple bedding items of low value, its the Safestore attitude which upsets me, the charges are high for very poor quality units.
Why should I pay to insure a unit which is unfit for safe storage.............I fear the Insurance company will waver my claim on these grounds, let alone the excess I will probably have to pay too, just very poor customer response yet again, we have your money, so go and do one ! I will never use Safestore again..........look elsewhere if I were you.

GoogleThis branch is probably THE best one compared to others that I've dealt with. I initially reserved a storage with another branch in London but I needed something cheaper as I'm having to move so suddenly. The best thing about this customer service experience for me was, the lovely Keira emailed me to confirm which branch I wanted to store my belongings in; and having a phone conversation with Darren to make sure I needed the right space. He went through every detail with me. They both made me comfortable throughout my application process, Darren explained every detail thoroughly and was also kind enough to provide removal companies for myself. Excellent customer service & I'll definitely recommend this branch.
