I visit the Rode Olifant Spaces. It is a great working environment with a lot of light and good ambiance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good internet and facilities, including nice coffee. There is no recycling/separate bins for rubbish which is disappointing.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost. We were given a week’s notice to move from our office in London to Liverpool Street as Regus closed the other office down. Despite telling us we would receive an identical office, it’s half the size, we barely have daylight, the space feels cramped because the roof slants, they cram in as many people as possible and it’s claustrophobic and dark.On top of that the cleaners don’t empty the bins and we were told today, that we have to empty our own bins despite it being a serviced office! The staff won’t help with anything at all.We were offered a community room with Regus, but now Spaces/Regus or whatever they are, say this is not available and we have to pay for all meeting space. They cynically charge for ever single thing and customer service is poor. I will be moving as soon as I possibly can. I can’t quite describe how cynical and money focused this company are. Sadly they don’t care at all about their customers

Hi Natalie, I’m very sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. I would first like to state that we absolutely care about our customers and it’s unfortunate that you think otherwise.A centre closure can be a frustrating experience for customers and it’s something we try to avoid wherever possible. We understand that you'd have appreciated greater notice. Unfortunately, on this occasion we were unable to provide it and for this we apologise.Whilst moving is not something you were planning on doing, we often find that leveraging the vast amount of workspace that we manage in London can help us locate an even better workplace for your needs. The new office you viewed and accepted was a like for like transfer but if you’ve since decided it is not suitable for you our agreements offer flexibility and can be transferred to an alternate centre that may be a better fit for your needs. I see from your review that you value having a community meeting room available to you. Your local team-lead has already advised you of our nearby locations that offer this benefit should you wish to consider a transfer.Like many businesses we are becoming more and more aware of the environmental impact our organisation can have. We operate 3000 centres in 120 countries so I’m sure you can imagine the amount of waste this can generate. To minimise the amount of waste going to landfill we have placed recycling points in the common areas of our centres. We have received great feedback from this initiative and have found that customers are happy to take a few minutes out of their day to dispose of their rubbish in the designated areas in support of this.A member of my team has contacted you and please remember that your centre team is also available to answer any of your queries. If you need further support, please feel free to contact me at sandra.melody@spacesworks.com. Kind Regards, Sandra Melody Head of Customer Services

Absoutley terrible we rented an office…

Absoutley terrible we rented an office on fountain street and was in a contract for.a year. We was told that we had to move within 48 hrs to a new office as this building had issues. We was told we would be helped with our move and we would be allowed to move to any other local centre and we could pick what we wanted. We was constantly called and pushed into a corner we had no choice to move.Anyways we found an office and was concerned that the price was higher. I was told by Elenor the local manager that the price would be kept the same now and she would personally see that the price did not go above 15% increase for the next 2 years. She told me this face to face and I stupidly took her word for it.In the end the removal people spaces/iwg/regus or whatever guise they use today damaged some of our equipment so we had to move it all ourselves. Being a technology company we had to move 27 server style computers and then employ technicians to set them up again at our cost and we lost nearly a weeks worth of business costing us over 5000 in lost earnings. The room we was given never even had enough socket points and Elenor and staff said they would compensate and fix this. They never. To be honest that's when alarm bells should have stated to ring. However we just got on with things and left it alone rather than arguing.Roll on 9 months later and we get an email to say that your new rent is now 2400 instead of 1100 and to click this button to extend and agree. No call or nothing just a sneaky way ro try and get you signed up.I immediately called our point of contact who was very rude and said that all.correspondance should be directed on email and she didn't say what she said about no price increase above 15%. She then said I'm leaving the company and speak to Abi. Which we did and she after half an hour explaining said she also can't do anything.I rent 9 different office spaces thro the UK and rent 6 abroad in Europe and have done for many years.I am totally shocked and applauded at the way we have been treated and the customer service we have had.The site is dirty. Security doors do not work. Staff are rude and the place is a shambles. I have also spoken to others who was forced to move from fountain street and they all have the same experiencesI can be contacted if anyone would like to discuss this with meSamir.rehman0121 at Gmail dot.comI am considering taking this legalPeople beware. Hello Samir,We apologise for any inconvenience you experienced when your centre in Manchester was unfortunately closed. A centre closure can be a frustrating experience for customers and it’s something we try to avoid wherever possible. When relocating you, we provided a similar office which should have cost more but provided it at the same rate that you previously had. After your initial agreement ended, your agreement was renewed and there was a price increase which is calculated on a number of factors. Notably, the demand in your centre had changed since your move in.We have asked for evidence of you being promised regarding its increase but this could not be provided. We are confident that our team would not make such promises.Your centre has recently had several improvements to an already excellent centre including a new cleaning team, new carpets, and a new deli and terrace area; this centre carries a great reputation. The local Operations team have already contacted you to assist you and requires your cooperation to provide evidence of such promises and damaged equipment as you claim so that they can better help you. Please continue discussions with them and they will be happy to help.Thank you for your understanding.Best,Sandra Melody Head of Customer Services

Never Again - Updated with good news

I realize that some people like these facilities. But for my company, these guys were totally the wrong choice. I thought we were working with an organization that provides a home for start ups, creatives, dynamic companies. What we got was inflexibility, passing the buck and ultimately shockingly poor customer service. Our needs changed. For a start up, that shouldn't be a big surprise. Not only do they refuse to respect our changing needs they insist on us continuing to pay for a service we dont use. In fact they have stopped providing even the basics of the service (mail service) but still charge us every month. Front desk staff are lovely but seemingly have no authority. Whenever I do get a message from other people I just get a "you signed the agreement so its not our fault". Just exactly the sort of business relationship building that engenders loyalty and respect - NOT !!UPDATE - Following a dialogue initiated by this review, the company have agreed to our requests. I appreciate that they responded positively.

Hi, thank you for getting in touch. Transparency is key to us, and our teams go to great lengths to ensure that any queries are clarified before an agreement is signed. Your current agreement will expire on November 30th 2022. It is a formal, business commitment. We partner with our customers to help them run and grow their business, but we also have a business to run and cannot cancel agreements. Some advanced warning is necessary should you wish to end with us, and it should be no less than the specified notice detailed in your agreement terms. Ending your agreement is a simple process, which you should confirm through your online account (“Account” section). Your termination will be confirmed shortly after by email. I apologise if you weren’t aware of this. Please remember that your centre team are trusted and have already been discussing this with you. You may continue the conversations with them to reach a resolution.Regards, Sandra Melody Head of Customer Services

Reliable, Diligent and Courageous

Most of us are still working remotely but the staff at Spaces has done a great job providing us with covid updates and deliveries from FedEx/Ups. They should really receive some recognization for working physically at Spaces during the pandemic. While the tenants have had the luxury of working remotely, the staff have not. Specifically, Stephanie has done a wonderful job before and during the pandemic. Thanks Stephanie!

Do not ever rent an office from these…

I have never ever in my life written a bad review for anyone - but I can take no more with Spaces. Do not ever rent an office from these people. Absolutely no customer service, no numbers to call, no emails to contact anyone, the in-house management are 'scared' of their bosses, heating doesn't work, kitchen area not cleaned and IT never fully worked with no support. We are being harassed for rent even though we are not there - we are not there because we were querying a £400 cleaning bill for moving offices within the building even though the office we were in was never cleaned or prepared before we moved in. We had paid our rent in full. We were told we would be 'locked out' that night so moved out instead. Spaces owe us rent for the rest of December and I will be taking them to court not only for the money but also for the undue stress, harassment and bullying that they employ. I have requested many times for a call from their head office - but nothing. Receptionist rude to customers and us - absolutely not what was sold to me!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE. We are in an amazing office now with Bizspace - lovely reception, management on site, questions answered and dealt with, IT queries sorted straight away. We are finally relaxed and happy and can continue with our business.REPLY TO SANDRA - hey Sandra, I have emailed you, no reply - do you actually exist. I have emailed everyone and anyone in your company since November asking someone to RING me - but no joy - no reply. Hence the need to inform others not to make the mistake I did by believing your companies lies with regards to renting an office. You have my number so RING ME. Leaving because unhappy with charge? - NOPE READ THE EMAILS - left because we are a Care Company and even though we had paid rent but were disputing £400 cleaning charge Spaces informed us by email that we were being locked out of our office that night (BULLYING AND HARRASSMENT) which would have left over 150 vulnerable adults and 20 carers with no back office support, no PPE, no telephone - SERIOUSLY! Please also be advised that there are many many more companies at Spaces that are also looking to move because, frankly, of the company (and apparently your) attitude. PICK UP THE PHONE, RING YOUR TENANTS IF THEY HAVE A QUERY OR ISSUE. Thank you. Again, why have you left the office open for our return??? We cancelled the Contract, online as told, you paid back our deposit. I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO SPACES, REGUS OR IWG. If you want your money for rent, even though we terminated, due to your actions, then take me to court - happy to tell my story and seek compensation.Update - 4 weeks later. Matthew called from Spaces, I wasn't in. I rang him back 4 times now and left 4 messages for him to call me back to date no call. This is your customer service Melody.

Hi Sarah, I’m sorry if you felt the need to direct your dispute on this public channel. The restoration service represents part of your agreement terms and is applied when you leave your office at the end of the agreement or if you at your own choosing decide to move offices. We apologise if this was not clear to you when you decided to move but it was explained at the time that the charge is valid and cannot be credited. Whilst we acknowledge your frustration please understand that you cannot simply abandon your office because you disagree with the charge. Your agreement with us represents a formal business commitment which needs to be honoured. The office still remains reserved and empty, waiting for your return. The maintenance and cleaning of our facilities are very important, and we can assure you of our highest standards. We understand that you did raise concerns at the time and these concerns were swiftly dealt with by our local team.I have asked a member of my team to contact you directly to discuss your concerns as you requested in your email to me.Best regards, Sandra MelodyHead of Customer Services

Great Space, NOWHERE TO HEAT YOUR FOOD.....

Excellent shared work space as a small business however there is NOWHERE in any of their spaces to heat food. Pretty crazy in this day and age.If you brown bag and want hot food you cant bring your lunch and heat it... basically you have to either eat cold food or go out and buy something that is hot.... must be one of the most archaic features of a service I have ever come across...~Addition:Its clear that your service is not designed for the customer at all then, but rather around saving on your bottom line by not have the required operational support to manage cleanliness in your environments.Further to this if a buy a meal externally and bring it into the space its going to smell and potentially make mess anyway...... just saying :)

Hi Gareth, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We aim to provide the best possible facilities in all of our centres and it was with regret that we reached the decision to remove microwaves from our network. A clean and pleasant working environment is fundamental to the service we provide and unfortunately this was being impacted by both smell and cleanliness issues associated with the communal microwaves. There are options available to our office customers and our local teams are always at hand to answer any questions. Thank you once again for your feedback. All the best, Sandra Melody Head of Customer Services

If there was a minus I would give it! Horrible SAB!!

If there was a minus I would give it.The director is unreliable and misses AGM'sThe lady in accounts is Liar and spreads rubbish. They just take money for management and do nothing in return.Promises broken.Meetings missedWork not done. They really are the worst of the worst! In short I do not recommend these guys! AVOID.After seeing this reply below I can assure you this was not the case, I have lived at this abode for 23 years, and everyone complained about Sab but never voiced it to them directly hence I was the whipping boy! As for turning up for every meeting, that is untrue and we still have accounts of when they didn't.The work they done was minimal and singling me out is slanderous and farcical. There were at least 2 others that also refused to pay up arrears on time due to them being a bad management company and to reiterate every one in the 9 flats moaned about SAB's services. We are now with another managing company who has gone through our accounts and said SAB were unprofessional and did not manage our accounts properly and let us in a bad state on purpose when we parted company! These guys are well known over Cambridgeshire for being a bad company and treating clients badly.I will hold my hands up to verbal abuse to them as I was very unwell with mental health at the time but it was also justified to some extent with abusive and rude letters from them...the last thing this company will do is also admit they were also to blame for bad relations. Why would I make up stuff? O have better things to do then lie!As regards to protecting people identity?? Eh? They have already lied due to replying to and old client! Me!and my name is there for all to see....point proven lololololol..The member of staff mentioned is 1 of the 3 directors...it's to show he can't be trusted to tu n up to meetings and AGMs....they also threatened us with saying who are we going to find cheaper for the price they manage for!? We were in the process of finding a better property management so ironic it is due to we were trying to get rid of them...we challenged them on matters and have used me as a Scapegoat...They also gave out private and confidential information about my account arrears to other members of the flats which again SAB say they don't do! and they also said I was the only one that had fallen behind with my payments and they also said I refused to pay! Lol....the reason I found this funny is because there were 2 other flats that were behind with paying money but I know for fact at least 1 flat did actually refuse to pay due to lack of work done by SAB.When ever they done the accounts, it was minimal and it was sparse and very unprofessional.I have removed the members of staff names...aka director and accountant but I feel that SAB has broken confidential rules by basically implying me...yet again something they say they don't do lol..Point proven! All of the reviews seem to echo the same same theme about these Muppets. Most of the replies start off the same old lies and BS from SAB lol..funny that...tbh, if people could be bothered there would be more negative reviews.SAB also have a high turn over of staff...again, funny that...

We take all reviews seriously and we accept responsibility when we fail to deliver, and we will always apologise where apologies are due. We can only reply to this review in a way that protects the privacy of all parties including the complainant which limits what we are able to say. Our Estate Management department managed a building related to this review and after receiving verbal abuse from one lease holder on a consistent basis we made the decision to cease our management. Our staff deserve to be treated with respect and should not be subjected to the abuse received. We received no complaints from other lease holders for this Estate, we attended every AGM that was arranged (at which other lease holders were present but the complainant in this case did not attend any). We went over and above what is required of a managing agent in that we continued to manage the building including necessary maintenance and health and safety matters leaving us with invoices from third party contractors we had instructed but often had no funds to pay these as a lease holder was in arrears. We deal with many buildings and many leaseholders of whom we have good relations. We accept we are not perfect, but we do uphold high standards. This reviewer does not recommend our services which we find ironic as it was our decision to cease managing the property which is something we do not take lightly as we do feel a duty of care to the other lease holders who treated us in a professional manner. We feel this is an unfair review not just of our company but extremely unfair to personally name members of staff in this way.

Probably the worst serviced office we…

Probably the worst serviced office we have rented. No service at all during our tenancy and once we moved out they charged us over and above our exit fees for cleaning the carpets because of wear and tear which as per the management company was created by us and not from using the same office for the past 4 years. Also they keep raising the prices upon every renewal so never rely to what they offer you to start with

Hi Marios, Thank you for reaching out to us with your contact details. The office restoration fee is a part of your agreement. As we know your time is valuable, we organize for you the vendors and work needed to complete the restoration of the office. When you moved into your office, we carefully ensured it was clean, in working order, and ready for use. Renewals are very important to us and we ensure that the process, which is very simple, is communicated to customers upfront. Prior to any renewal, our customers receive courtesy email reminders. These emails include detailed information on prices, terms, and the option of ending the agreement if you no longer require our services. The renewal price will follow the prevailing market rate upon renewal. I apologise if you weren’t aware of this. You can contact your center team for more clarification on your exact office.Best, Sandra Melody Head of Customer Services

The human team at @22Barcelona Spaces is incredible

I have to say that the way customers were treated during the pandemic was horrible. Without empathy or help for their clients, trying to take advantage of the situation. I am talking about the global management of the Regus group, which did not know how to act properly or stand out from its competitors. The treatment received was exasperating.Having said that, the human team at @22Barcelona Spaces is incredible. Professional, decisive, fast, helpful but above all, very good people from the first to the last. It has been a pleasure for us to have spent 3 years together with this wonderful team that has helped us grow. Only they deserve all the stars of this recommendation.

High quality offices with very good service

The offices are high-quality and quiet, even with several sales staff. In addition, the chic community areas offer the possibility to make phone calls in phone boxes or work on additional desks outside the own office. The meeting rooms are well equipped. The service is very friendly and well organised. The location is top, with a direct metro connection. And finally the view of the Speicherstadt and Elbphilharmonie. Spaces Kallmorgen-Tower is a top address and an absolute recommendation.

This is what business freedom looks like!

Absolutely brilliant. It's strange, that despite never having met Natalia and her team, I get such amazing feedback from my colleagues that I feel like they're part of the family. The whole set-up works so well for us, especially as we strive to be leaner and more fluid in response to the pandemic. The front-desk team act as the best first-contact point for our patients and it means we can concentrate on our key duties. It's such a liberating facility for us and we wish some of our other relationships could be this good.
