I’m not a resistor of your office

I’m not a resistor of your office. But I’ve sow a disappointment sight today. Some people have drink in office at 8:00pm. I’ve think some customers were meeting with alcohol.Perhaps some one told me, one of them is a employee of spaces.I thought the one will be after work time. But I felt why the one drink in here. That behavior would be degrade your service. If you want of those evidence, I would give you a picture.I hope your service continues to be excellent.Best regards

They don't refund customers on time

They don't refund customers on time. This is supposed to be a well-run company. They park our money into an account to accumulate interest on, and they will hold for as long as possible and blame it on a button that is unavailable on the website, which will take weeks to fix. It's the most conniving stuff I have ever heard.

Yab · 24 April 2023 · SAB Saint Andrews Bureau Ltd London

Agent replied · 11 June 2024

Hi Yab,I’m sorry to read your comments. We fully understand the importance of receiving your refund promptly and have taken measures to make the process as smooth as possible for customers. You should receive your refund within 30 days after your end date. It’s an automated process. However, we will ask you to go through some security steps as part of our fraud-prevention policy. Your end date was 31 March and your retainer has already been scheduled for payment, we apologise it wasn’t sent last week but to accuse us of being “the most conniving stuff I have ever heard” for a delay of 4 days is very unfair. Spaces forgot who the customers are

Spaces have clearly forgotten who the customer is. In the space of 6 months these were the problems we encountered renting a small office in the meatpacking district of NY:1. Lack of printing facility for many months - no urgency to resolve it.2. Broken coffee machine for 5+ weeks - no urgency and no comms to explain the ETA for fixing it. Just a post it note to tell everyone it was broken. 3. Internet periodically not working.4. A retention team who despite reaching out to us 3 months before our expiry and us giving a same day response never even gave the courtesy of a reply. 5. Multiple erroneous charges on the account. They claim we snuck back into the office to print documents after we moved out despite us having a new office with fully functioning printing (see point 1).6. After finally agreeing a renewal to a new office in the same building we were told that due to internal spaces bureaucracy, we’d have to wait a month. We then decided enough was enough.7. 3 months plus wait to get the deposit back. Then they sent the wrong amount back even though we told them in advance their system was showing the wrong amount.8. Despite repeated escalation to senior managers not one of them took action. As a scale up company it's incredibly hard to work with vendors like this who clearly view their customers as an inconvenience. They are enemies of innovation. As a founder would avoid Regus, Spaces and IWG at all costs. We moved to WeWork in SoHo. Experience could not be more different. The team here truly care and appreciate their customers.

Hi Jonathan,I understand that you’re dissatisfied and would like to help.Regardless of the reason, I understand how frustrating it can be and apologize if we did not provide the level of service that you expect and deserve from Spaces. The maintenance of our facilities is very important, and we can assure you of our highest standards. We have always provided sufficient notice about the disrupted services and faulty facilities to all our customers at the centre. These services and facilities were repaired and replaced according to the timeline informed in the notice; you were able to use the services until the end of your agreement. You have been charged copy and printing fees according to your usage. Your centre team is currently checking the fee that was charged after your end date; it will remain valid if the services are indeed used by you.Due to the delay in receiving your confirmation on the renewal, your office was sold to another customer since the demand was high in the centre. As an alternative, you were requested to wait for one month until another office space was available; you were also given a preferential fee. Your renewal process was cancelled since we failed to hear from you again on this matter.Your retainer was refunded late because you requested it 3 months after your end date of 31 December 2022. The retainer refund is an automated process. All our office customers are required to request their retainer refund via their online account (i.e., www.myspacesworks.com). The retainer will be refunded within 40 days after the end date. There is a shortage in the retainer amount due to an account outstanding balance offset. Your centre team confirmed that they have always listened to your concerns and helped you to resolve them. If you need further help, please contact our team member who is already in touch with you. I would put a lower star rating but…

I would put a lower star rating but cannot complete my review without this. We would strongly recommend avoiding this company. We have reached out to lawyers now to take this matter further. They create their own invoices then charge you for not paying. We should have received a refund after leaving their premises mid Feb and are stil awaiting this. The company is a scam and is only virtual with nobody responding to emails or calls. Please all avoid avoid avoid!!I have had our account manager email you on numerous occasions and back in early Marc was told it was dealt with and funds would be returned,,,,,we are still waitingGlobal design and innovation

I am GUTTED I didn't check Trustpilot before booking

Spaces have rectified the issue below by refunding me for the next month, following me posting this review.Aberdeen 1MsqI contacted the company looking for hot desking for 2 weeks while visiting home, gave specific dates and was contacted twice by phone (once from Regus), both times the person said they’d have to get someone else to get in touch. The sales manager got in touch saying that they could offer 10 days for a price, which I agreed to. They then sent me a form to fill out online which listed the amount she stated. What I didn’t realize was that I was actually signing up for a rolling membership that I had to cancel one month in advance, i.e., as soon as I was signed up, I was locked into the following month. The sales manager knew I was only visiting and still willfully let me sign up for what she knew was surplus to my requirements. When I arrived and realized that I was being charged for the next month (2 weeks in advance!), I was told that this was in the terms and conditions I agreed to, and that it was ‘too bad’. When this happened, I looked into the company and discovered that their Trustpilot page was littered with reviews of other people that had fallen for this, which is evidence that this is a systemic issue with their sales/renewal practices that they should amend. So I was out of pocket £200 unexpectedly while on a trip home, which frankly ruined my first long trip back home in 5 years. Hope this can save someone else from falling into this trap. I find it fascinating when a company doubles down on their shady policies when the effect on word of mouth is so blatant here. I look forward to the response telling me that they are in fact transparent and invalidating my literal experience.Thoughts on the actual office: The first day was a write-off, the Wi-Fi didn’t work for longer than 15 minutes. I spent the day getting cut out of meetings and having to join on my phone. A staff member told me that this happens quite a lot with new members. I wasn’t given a card to access and exit the building, so I had to awkwardly ask the security guard to let me in and out throughout the day. There was no seating with decent back support (this is literally a glorified cafe), and they have an electronic air freshener near the coat rack that literally feels like it’s suffocating you if you walk within 1m. There was a noisy coffee grinder going off throughout the day. The staff I spoke to were lovely, they can stay. Overall - absolutely avoid, there are cheaper local alternatives all over Aberdeen.

Promised a refund, no money and no replies.

I've been back and forth with Spaces for some time now. My only success at getting communication back is by posting negative reviews. It would be easier if they answered emails. They promised me a refund on my agreement, which would have been refunded within 5-7 days from the 23rd. Still no refund, still no reply. You'll save a few years off your life by avoiding these at all costs. Extremely stressful to deal with,

I rented with them for ten years. Very happily.

I rented with them for ten years. They were superb. I played my part by never missing a rent payment and by not making excessive demands or nit-picking. So when there was a problem, for example the washing machine broke or the boiler wasn't working efficiently, they replaced them with brand new ones immediately. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the workmen whom I met over the years, who provided the statuatory checks, such as the gas safety check, and I was always impressed by the professionalism and commonsense of Kane, the managing director. He would fix problems often before they happened, such as getting workmen in to clear ivy away, or to replace a fence that was looking rundown. I found over time that they had the property's best interest at heart and they were always fair to me. I stayed far longer than I intended to rent for, and it's true that the annual rent increase was a pain and a drain, but the professionalism of the company meant I always felt safe and secure living in a property managed by them.

Everything's great until you sign the contract. Then you're on your own.

I've posted a Trust Pilot review, and spaces responded that they'd contact the centre manager. In my review, it explicitly said I've spoken to Centre Manager, the centre manager, and he told me there's nothing he can do, I can email the sales man, and the sales man might get back to me. The only way to get a response from Spaces is to write a public review. They won't reply to my emails. They won't answer the customer portal requests, and their response on Trust Pilot is that they'll contact centre manager. Please, Spaces, if you read this. I would REALLY like to speak to someone about this, and I would like to get my money back. If you use Spaces, the warm body at the building will not and cannot help you. You are literally by yourself. I'll submit a small courts claim to try and get Spaces' attention. Other than protesting outside the building, there's no way to have a flowing, problem-solving conversation with this company. My previous review for reference.Dear Trustpilot community,I want to express my frustration and disappointment with Regus and Spaces. I recently inquired about renting an office space and was bombarded with up to 12 phone calls a day from Regus trying to sell me an office. After expressing my concerns and asking to be taken off their communication list, I received an email from the sales agent at Spaces offering me an office for a flat fee of £179 per month, with the ability to move out with just one month's notice. However, my experience quickly turned sour. After signing up and paying the one-month fee up front, I received a barrage of invoices totalling around £400.00 for things that I was not made aware of by the sales agent. These extra fees included late payment fees, fees for the coffee machine and kitchen (which the sales agent assured me were inclusive), and a bill for the following month's rent. To add insult to injury, I was given just 15 days to pay the invoices. When I approached centre manager at the main desk to question these charges, he was unhelpful and suggested that I should contact the sales agent. However, when I finally managed to get in touch with the sales agent, he was dismissive of my concerns and offered no help or solution other than suggesting that I cancel and resign each month.I am beyond frustrated with the services provided by Regus and Spaces. It seems they are all interested in getting customers to sign contracts so that their salespeople can receive commissions. I have paid over £500.00 for just 1.5-2 hours of usage of the offices, and yet no one is interested in helping me resolve my concerns or providing a refund.I want a full refund, except for the pro-rata cost of the 1.5-2 hours I have used the office. I believe this is a fair and reasonable request, given the circumstances. I feel that the lack of transparency and the unprofessional conduct of Regus and Spaces is unacceptable, and I urge others to think twice before signing any contracts.

Hi Patrick, This is disappointing to see. We’ve made ending your agreement easy; this can be done via your online account (www.spacesworks.com). We’re sorry if you experienced difficulties but this certainly doesn’t make us “incompetent” or “dishonest”; especially when this has already been resolved and communicated to you. You’re not still being billed, the last document you received was a credit note and not an invoice. The reception hours in your centre are Monday to Friday 0830, 1700. Customers with a private office or dedicated co-working space have 24/7 access. We are sorry if you find these hours ae short. The main focus of our centre teams is to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of our centres and at any given moment they may be performing essential tasks away from reception. Awful, Complicated and Slow

I signed up for Spaces as I was looking for a co-working solution, and had the choice between Spaces or WeWork. I Wish I had chosen WeWork.I called to sign up, and was told that I would be charged pro rata for the first month, and then charged at the start of each month thereafter. This didn't happen. I was charged a month and a half up front, and when I tried to get a refund I was met with a flat no.I have friends who use WeWork, and wish I had joined them. Don't be fooled by the marketing, stay away from this company. We work hard as creative professionals and there are better options available

Sam · 14 March 2023 · SAB Saint Andrews Bureau Ltd London

Hi Sam,At Spaces we work hard to ensure full transparency in our invoicing process. Our invoices are made up of two different types of charges: 1. Fixed charged like your monthly office fee, parking, signage… These are billed in advance (example: At the end of August, you are billed for your October fixed charges). 2. One-time charges like meeting rooms, photocopies, pay as you go beverages… These are billed in arrears (example: At the end of August, you are billed for your August one-time charges). All your invoices are available in your online account (Account section) and payable upon receipt but no later than the 15th day of each month. By setting up an automated method of payment such as direct debit or credit card, you are saved the hassle of arranging manual payments and possibly incurring late fees. Setting up a direct debit or credit card payment is simple; it can easily be done through your online account (Account section). You will have an allotted number of days each month to review your invoice before the payment is processed. Horrible!!

Horrible!!! Stay away! Billing and invoicing is a joke. They live to provide inaccurate closing dates by invoice and bill late fees. I signed a 1 year lease. Called and asked 1 month before leases end about discontinuing lease. Rep told me by email.to hit the cancel button and pay remaining balance. I did so. Then I get an email from them telling me I must end lease 90 days prior to the lease end date This is unethical, if lease date in agreement is ending why would I think I would need to inform you 90 days ahead of time. This is not an agile.organization. Full of fine print details you are not told about up fron and during tenure. Customer service is a joke. They bare answer calls and then say they can only send to an email able agent who then refuses to call you back. I wish I had avoided them at all costs. If I had the time to sue them, I would. Stay away from these crooks! No customer service...bait and switch tactics....no accountability for lies told by untrained and uninformed reps YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

SPACES - Very Poor Customer Service

SPACES - Sutton: Extremely disappointed - set up a two year contract in mid Feb 2023 to start on 1st March 2023 for a one single desk space. Downloaded Spaces App in mid Feb 23 and attached payment card for billing. On my card statement I see they took a payment on 28/02/2023 so the card works! Now this AM 1st March 2023 our first day on site, they send my an invoice for desk space hire in Jan 2023 and Feb 2023 and March and April!!! and two late payment fees for Jan and Feb!!! Our contract didn't start until 1st March 2023!!!..What a shambles! They do not care about their customers only how much they can get out of them. So I called their accounts helpline…. 40 minutes on hold no answer! So I called sales and they answered in two rings!!! This tells you exactly where their priorities are! VERY UNHAPPY AND DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!! I have a good mind to cancel and go elsewhere!! But I suppose SPACES will cut and paste the usual vanilla reply about how much they care, and my experience is just a one off and they are really sorry and its not the usual customer experience etc etc

Hi Paul, I understand that you’re dissatisfied. However, it is just not fair or accurate for you to call us names on this public platform without giving us a chance to try and help you. Your statements about you being charged with invoices for “desk space hire in Jan 2023 and Feb 2023” and “two late payment fees for Jan and Feb” are incorrect; you were only charged with activation fee, one month retainer, March and April monthly service fees. I apologise if our invoices have created some confusion for you. We bill our customers in advance. Our invoices are made up of two different types of charges:   1. Fixed charges like your monthly office fee, parking, signage…  These are billed in advance.  2. One-time charges like meeting rooms, photocopies, pay-as-you-go beverages…  These are billed in arrears.  All your invoices are available in your online account (Account section) and payable upon receipt but no later than the 15th day of each month. We noticed that you have been charged with an incorrect late payment due to a system error in allocating the payment. The error has been rectified and we have credited the late payment fee for you. Our Account helpdesk team is always available to support our customers with payment, billing, and account-related questions. I have checked our records and you have not yet contacted them. Please contact them via the “Help” section of your online account; they’ll be happy to assist you. You have signed an agreement with us until 28 February 2025. It is a formal business commitment on which we base our business. Our agreements should be ended online according to their notice period. You can end your agreement by logging in to your Spaces account and clicking on Accounts > Products and services > End Agreement. Your termination will be automatically confirmed by email.   Should you need further assistance in this matter, please contact our team member who is in touch with you. Avoid at all costs - A terrible office space and service

My company only spent 6 months at Spaces Liverpool Street, and from start to finish, we had a torrid and terrible experience. The original sales person mis-sold the office space to us, promising a layout and even helping us design it online. Upon moving in, we were told the layout was not possible, and that we couldn't have the furniture or desk spaces we needed to support all the team members that required desks. When trying to speak to him, he completely washed his hands of us and refused to help or even reply to us.The facilities are terrible. The wifi was and is next to useless during the day when everyone is in and for remote calls, we were left hot spotting to our phones for a better signal. When trying to resolve this IT and use ethernet, the online portal didn't work to enable our laptops to connect, and in the end we just gave up.Toilets are always dirty, the showers were constantly blocked meaning anyone who planned to cycle in, couldn't. The staff were rude and unhelpful not just to me, but everyone within the company. That is also not the worst part.... The billing... When we moved in, we were not onboarded beforehand and told to set up a direct debit. Because we didn't do that, on day 1 we were invoiced for 3 months in advance. The office manager said she applied for a refund and for us just to pay for month 1, which we did, and guess what... We were never refunded and in the first week paid for 4 months up front. Their accounts team couldn't even give us an invoice for the extra month.Upon leaving, we were told we have to pay >£1,000 for "restoration" which was supposed to have been explained to us in the onboarding we never received. Finally, we were not offboarded, and then invoiced another >£750 for further "restoration" which was never explained to us or given the chance to review. As other users have said on here, they will just invoice you and bill you without your consent. For anyone thinking to take an office with Spaces, don't, you will regret it. We have moved a few hundred yards down the road and it couldn't be any more different. Avoid, avoid .... avoid.

An Absolute Shambles!

(Spaces Liverpool Street) This place is an absolute shambles. Mis-sold from the very first day by a salesperson whose first name starts with an A, took 3 months to actually get the furniture we asked for, had stains on the floor which we were charged for even though these were shown to Salesperson (A) on day 1 where we were told "not to worry" and then charged for these at the end of our contract. You're lucky if you can use Zoom due to the poor internet speed - took us over 20 emails and 6 months to get our speed to a reasonable place. The space itself is actually pretty filthy once you start to use the facilities such as showers and toilets when they aren't blocked. The bike storage is a disgrace its so dirty. We've moved to a WeWork around the corner and it is 1000x better, dont be fooled by the 5* reviews on here (for Spaces Liverpool Street), they are clearly fake and I wished we'd taken the advice on some of the reviews below - STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE SPACE.

THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AGENT: AVOID SAB

The most unprofessional and rude agent I have ever met: Leane Doust, in London SAB agency.I was interested in a flat, I made an offer, the landlady accepted my offer and I had some requests.Leane, updated the landlady and was waiting for a response since my request was a deal-breaker. For almost 2 weeks no response, I pressed her, she told me the landlady was away and after pressing her again a week later she told me that the landlady would reply in a couple of days. Meanwhile, I had asked her some additional info about the heating, the electricity supplier etc, she hadn't the slightest idea and promised to ask the Concierge and update me. She NEVER did that.I was more than sure that Leane was trying to secure another customer. Indeed, 10 days after, the property was gone. Leane NEVER EVER got back to me up to date, even to inform that it was gone. Not to mention how rude she was in our email correspondence, rarely addressing me and never finishing her emails politely with her name - as every decent professional does. What a disgraceful agent, poor landlords. Reading now the poor reviews, I say AVOID this agency at any cost. NEVER RECOMMEND it.I have got a reply from them. Though apologising for inconvenience, your excuses are ridiculous: they said they left me an urgent message in my answering machine. What a bloody lie, as I haven't one. And WHY they didn't sent an urgent email when our whole communication was via email ONLY? As for the cabinet, I immediately replied that I don't have ANY specific preference and I would accept any proper option- I am sure they have read my response to that. But they didn't say a word WHY Leane NEVER updated me about their supposedly actions or explained to me? How ridiculous does it sound!! Not a word WHY Leane NEVER signed her emails! She NEVER put her name ending her emails. And RARELY she adressed me or ending her emails as every professional ends it usually with "kind regards" or similar. I fully understand that they are desperately trying to cover up her outrageous mistakes and attitude. Alas, it's impossible as I keep all the correspondence which exposes her as the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AGENT EVER!

Following 2 viewings we have an extensive record of communications. After viewing 1 some requests were made, we asked the landlord, these were agreed to. The matter of the bathroom cabinet was raised, we queried with the landlord, we arranged for a contractor to attend and quote, we sent this quote to the landlord and chased for a reply. As the landlord had already accepted, we could accept an application and the Holding Deposit to secure the property and take it off the market, which we offered to do. However, the bathroom cabinet was a deal breaker so we explained the property would remain on the market. We attempted to assist by suggesting free standing alternatives to avoid drilling/ permission however a back lit wall mounted cabinet was required and a deal breaker. We supplied the details for the utility suppliers for the flat and agreed the electricity supplier can be changed to any preferred supplier. We explain the flat does not have its own gas supply and the building has one communal boiler which has one gas supply, the building management company deal with the bills and as the flats are charged out on sub meters, were not aware of which company supply the gas. To determine which company supply the gas we tried relevant parties, and again confirmed the supplier cannot be changed. We asked the concierge, management company and landlord, but we did not receive this information to pass on in a timely manner. We contacted parties by phone an email as well as visiting the concierge to ask in person. We even attempted to contact the previous tenants’ , whilst that could only be a guide as their charges would have been dependant on their usage. We supplied a draft copy of the tenancy agreement which we understood was being reviewed by a legal rep in preparation for progressing to a tenancy, and we prepared our online tenancy agreement and referencing system for this to progress to formal application as we understood there was an agreement to proceed. However, the matter of the energy provider for the heating was raised as a matter of concern again. Whilst we would attempt to contact the various parties that could tell us, this would not provide any certainty for the future of the tenancy as the tenant of the flat has no control over the supplier. We were honest from the outset that we had interest from other parties by way of viewings booked and offers made. This was explained at the time of the viewings and when liaising with office staff, and it was clarified that until the Holding Deposit was paid the property would not be secured or taken off the market and the landlord could accept a Holding Deposit from another party. We left a voicemail on 14th February stating that according to our system the application had not yet been made and Holding Deposit not yet paid, and the landlord had accepted an offer from another party, so please contact us urgently. We intended to explained the landlord had decided refused the bathroom cabinet. Despite this being a deal breaker, out of courtesy we intended a discussion to allow the opportunity for a change of mind should there be one. When we did not receive a response, we closed the application link which sends an auto email stating the closure of the application link, and we did not receive any contact from that course of action. We eventually accepted a Holding Deposit from another party on 20th February on the landlords’ instructions. Leane often works remotely covering emails from the train and has experienced technical issues with the signature footer on her email account, therefore not appeared as a professional company email footer. We can only apologise for any issues we have caused during this process.

Do not even bother, an orangutan could run a better establishment. Listed below are all the issues I found:. No microwave - you don't realize how much you need one until you don't have one. No free coffee - have to buy one if you want one, wouldn't be an issue if so many other offices offered it for free. Disgusting bike storage and alley - smells like pee and doors are always blocked by bins. Saw someone smoking crack by it once, the office was so rubbish I almost joined him. Meeting rooms cost hundreds of pounds to book - booked a meeting room once for a couple of hours, costed the company like £200, might as well have booked a night at the Savoy and had a chat in there. Staff didn't want to be there - I think someone needs to remind them they're being paid to help out. Anytime I asked for anything, I was treated like a fool for even considering wasting their time. It's not that they are rude, they just seem annoyed. Terrible Wifi - admittedly, asked for help and got it (big respect to the IT team) but regardless was still rubbish. How can an office in this day and age have poor wifi. I'll tell you why, so they can charge an arm and a leg for the wifi upgrade, absolute joke. Office Cleaners and bins- they do a decent job in the toilets and communal area but they just never empty the bins in our actual office. The only reason they probably don't is because we actually had to buy our own one. It's a plastic tub, how expensive can it be to have a bin placed in every office and provided us with one.Let me tell you a little story. Our company was hosting an event, so we decided to book two meeting rooms (walls could be taken down in between to make one big room). No idea how much it cost but if a room for 4 people for 2 hours costs nearly £200 then god knows how much this one costs. We turned up at the rooms about 15 mins before we had booked them. No one was using them so we thought we might as well go in and set up. That's when we were told we still had to wait 15 mins until our booking actually started. Ridiculous notion but not the end of the world. After 15 mins, we get in and have a couple of Spaces staff help us set up. I understand they didn't need to help and they may not have been having the best day at work but my god were they rude. Huffing and puffing, making comments and generally just being a bit off with us. But like I said, I don't know what their situation is, so not a major issue but another one none the less. Finally, our food arrived, to which we were informed we weren't allowed to have it. We're told, any food for an event must come through Spaces partner catering company, another way to fleece you of more money. They failed to tell us this when we booked and during anytime between booking and the event. All these things may seem minor but added up and taking into account other issues with the office, it left a really bad taste in the mouth. When you're already spending a fortune for the office, a fortune for the wifi, and a fortune for the meeting room, it's not out of this realm to expect Spaces to treat you a little nicer. To conclude, don't even bother with this office, just go to a WeWork instead. But if you're unable to do that, you're better off working in the bike storage alley I mentioned earlier.

Shady practices, go somewhere else

Purposely unclear about how to cancel a membership and automatic renewal notices to sign you up against your will. I've sent them emails stating that I wanted to change my membership and was told my contract would only be over in March. After reaching out again in February to confirm I wanted to end my membership, I was then told my contract had renewed until end of May, and that I missed the notice period... Sent multiple emails to get out of it, reminding them that I had already said I wanted out but they wouldn't hear anything. They clearly knew my intentions but did a great job at being vague and unclear on how to exit, to charge you even more and automatically renew your subscriptions.

Hi Yann, I understand that you’re disappointed and I’m really sorry about it.  We take renewals very seriously and ensure that the process, which is very simple, is communicated to customers upfront. All our agreements do not end automatically, and they should be ended online according to their notice period. You contacted us previously regarding this and were correctly informed that your agreement had already renewed. Your current agreement will end on 31 May 2023; it is a formal business commitment, and it should be honoured. Thank you,  Lorraine Brule  Global Customer Service at Spaces

Over-priced office space with poor service.

Rented at Spaces for three years at the office in Manchester (St Peter's Square). Big mistake. Had to phone down to reception pretty much every day to tell them to turn down the air conditioning in the winter. Cleaning was poor to non-existent. There is no atmosphere and it is over-priced. Toilets were generally dirty and smelly. When we left they charged us 1600£ to replace the carpets and re-paint the walls. Very unhappy customer. Avoid, there are better, less expensive options.

Hi Roger, thank you for raising this concern. Your comments have been shared with the senior management team responsible for your centre in Manchester. They will conduct a thorough assessment of the centre standards including with our contracted cleaning provider. Improvements will be implemented immediately. We provide our restoration service for all customers to save time and money, along with the frustration of dealing with multiple outside vendors such as IT & phone technicians. When you moved into your office, we ensured it was all in working order and ready for use. This service is part of your agreement. An additional restoration fee has been charged to you for the carpet replacement since the floor tiles were damaged. You are welcome to discuss this directly with your local community manager, who remains your key contact here. No heating, no action, no response

We rent an office space in Hemel and it has been one of the worst experiences we have had.The heating simply doesn't work in the building and has been a problem for over 6 months. Our office is consistently below 13 degrees every morning and the staff team can't be bothered to even send courtesy e-mails to keep people updated or to give expected timeframes.

Hi Stef, I’m sorry you felt the need to escalate this.At Spaces the maintenance of our facilities is very important and we can assure you of our highest standards. Whilst we do all we can to ensure everything runs smoothly a broken heating unit is beyond our control and not something that can be predicted. It goes without saying that we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience that this caused.During the breakdown we provided you with a number of portable heaters and even offered you team additional units which were declined. Our team provided updates as and when they were available and I’m happy to confirm that the repairs were completed on 31 January.I asked your centre manager to check your office and she confirmed the temperature was 25 degrees yesterday morning. A member of my team has been attempting to contact you to discuss your review and your centre team are also available should you have any further questions.Kind regards,Lorraine Brule Global Customer Service at Spaces

Use Spaces co-working in London

Use Spaces co-working in London, weekly. Booked Hanover Square for the first time with a co-working desk. 100% waste of money. Front desk didn't know what Spaces was, even though I booked it through the Space website. Basically, if you want a template of how not to do a co-working venue, follow Hanover Square Spacesworks. Liz Truss could do a better job....

Signed up for a trial to see how it was then was sent to collections even though I paid in full. SCAM

Signed up for a Trial to see how I liked it. I paid in full for 6 weeks. After two weeks I started getting invoices. I ignored them. After 6 weeks I stopped going. Then they wanted to charge for me for 2 months even though I emailed them and said I, only signed up for a trial. SCAM. DO NOT GO, THEY WILL try to screw you.
