Throughout our instruction, we arranged numerous viewings and worked hard to generate interest in your property, which resulted in several offers being received. Most recently, an offer was received which, as we understand it, you did not subsequently respond to.
As explained at the time, before a sale can be formally agreed, we are required to complete the appropriate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and due diligence checks on prospective purchasers. In this particular instance, the necessary documentation had not been provided, meaning that we were unable to progress the offer to a formal sale at that stage. We appreciate that this can be frustrating, but these are requirements that we must adhere to.
We also note your comments regarding communication. We followed up discussions and key updates by email to ensure there was a clear written record and that all parties remained informed. We also made a number of attempts to contact you by telephone and remained in regular email correspondence throughout the instruction.
We are disappointed by your comments regarding our manager, as we believe that all communications were handled courteously and professionally. We always take feedback regarding the service provided by our team seriously and will reflect on the points you have raised.
The sale of a property can understandably be a frustrating process, particularly when prospective purchasers change their position or are unable to proceed. Unfortunately, these circumstances can sometimes arise despite the efforts of the agent and are not always within our control.
We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we thank you for your feedback and wish you and your husband all the very best for the future

The initial valuation was much too high and despite my reservations I was convinced by the agent that this was correct. This meant the sale took much longer than needed and we had to reduce the asking price and then subsequently accept a much lower offer. Once the offer was accepted the Move Manager Catherine Salisbury was very helpful and reassuring, keeping me updated on progress and chasing solicitors.
