Fantastic outstanding team at Sedgefield

I had the pleasure of dealing with Ryan, Sharon and Danni at the Sedgefield branch who manged to sell my house within 15hours of it going on the market. My previous estate agents had the property listed for 5 months and I had 3 viewings in that time. I changed to Robinsons Sedgefield and met Ryan for the first time who was helpful and professional. The property was listed on a Friday night and I had a call from Sharon at 9.30 Saturday morning to tell me she had 3 viewings arranged for that day. I was amazed that they had already got as many as the previous company had done in 5 months. My first viewing put an offer in and everything went smoothly and I was kept in the loop at all times by Ryan,Sharon and Danni who were all genuinely pleased for me. I would give Robinsons Sedgefield 10 stars if I could. Ryan, Sharon and Danni have always been friendly and polite as well as professional. I was always kept up to date with my sale and they would gently manage my expectations if I was getting ahead of myself. I visit the branch most days on my dog walk and we are always greeted with a smile. I wouldn't hesitate to use Robinsons again.

Robinsons Estate Agents Durham: Lettings Manager is a disgrace. I’ve rented a property out for a year and was lucky to have an amazing landlord. My contract has ended and due to a death in the family I couldn’t renew the contract due to leaving work and relocating down south where all my family are, and becoming many thousands in debt. I have struggled to hire a van to drive from Cambridge to Durham to remove all my bigger goods in the house ready for the new tenants to move in a few days after the contract ends. I don’t drive so this made it a lot harder. I packed all my main things in a car which belongs to my brother in law and set off at 3am in order to return the keys to the agency on time. I phoned the estate agents to let them know I haven’t managed to remove the bigger goods such as a sofa. I was met with the rude ‘manager’ on the phone who was shouting at me and threatening me with court. I couldn’t even speak to explain anything as he was shouting non stop. I understand his frustration but there’s absolutely no need to shout at me on the phone, it’s disgusting. You never know what people are going through and he knew the circumstances with my family death which he clearly didn’t take into consideration before shouting at me and giving verbal abuse and saying that I only came up with a ‘suitcase’ in which I obviously didn’t, he was being sarcastic. I came to the office to hand the keys in, the ladies were lovely and when I confronted the so called manager about his behaviour on the phone, he remained calm and didn’t do anything. Funny how he couldn’t care less on the phone but different story in person. Robinsons do not care about their clients, no matter the circumstances. The only support I’ve had is from my landlord who rightfully should be the one frustrated, but my landlord has been nothing but understanding, reasonable and patient. I am disgusted with how I was treat by this ‘manager’.His name is David, as I mentioned to him on the phone, I completely understand where he was coming from, and I understand how frustrated he must be, but there’s still no excuse to have that sort of tone with me and make sarcastic, immature comments. I was nothing but reasonable on the phone to him, and I couldn’t even speak or explain as he was talking over me and shouting. I would like an apology from David himself.
