Landlord Services

Excellent Agent. Very efficient and great communicator. Had no trouble finding a tenant, great inventory service and ongoing management service too. Reasonable rates and repair service (if needed).

thinking of selling?

When selling my house I contacted a few agents in my area and hated all of them. All they seemed worried about was their fee. Then I stumbled across Robinsons, who where totally different. When Mark came round to view the house, he was not pushy or bossy. He literally came in, discussed what we wanted and left it for us to decide. Now that may have been a clever tactic, but nevertheless it worked and I like the way he did business. We, of course, decided to use Robinsons and our house was sold by the 3rd viewing. Couldn't of asked for more. Everything went through according to plan. I now rent a property Robinsons and again I am very happy with the service. If you are thinking of putting your home on the market, I seriously recommend you give Robinsons a call

Great Service

We used Robinson's to manage our letting property. Unlike most estate agents I have come across, you can have a decent conversation with them, and have confidence that if they say they are going to do something, they will. We no longer have the property, but should we have the need of an estate agent, they will be my first port of call. Thanks to Mark and the team for all your help over the past 4 years.

thinking of renting?

I have rented a flat through Robinsons for nearly 2 years now. As I had never rented before, I was a bit wary, but I have to say I do not know what I was worrying about.. Michael @ Robinsons always responds immediately to any questions/queries /issues.. Nothing is every too much for him. I absolutely love the flat I am renting and hope to stay here for the foreseeable future. I would not hesitate to recommend Robinsons to anyone looking to rent a property.

Honest and efficient!

I rent my property out through Robinsons even though they aren’t local because they’d been recommended to me. I didn’t regret it. They found great tenants, quickly, and were super efficient with getting everything sorted. I had one issue with the property within the first week of the tenants moving in which they sorted straight away. They’re always honest about what’s going on and everything is done on time. A great service – thank you!

Great service!

Have sold a fair number of houses in my time though different Agents and I have to say that Robinsons made this sale the easiest yet, despite delays with the chain along the way. Not only did they sell my property quickly, at the price I wanted, but at times it was all fairly stressful and I probably wasn’t always the easiest person to deal with, but they were always patient and supportive and helped to make the process as easy as it could be. Honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Robinsons fully managed service was fantastic..

As a new landlord, Robinsons fully managed service was fantastic. Mark and his friendly team provided a knowledgable and efficient service and took away any worry I had as, a then, inexperienced landlord. They have always found me good tenants which is reflective of their thorough referencing/credit checks. The team were always happy to answer any queries I had and gave sound advice when I needed it. Their services come highly recommended. N.Rose (Landlord).

Absolute appalling service, If you have the unfortunate need to deal with these guys, keep everything to email for future reference! Lucky for us I kept all conversations over email as backup, we opened a case with TDS as they were refusing to refund all of our deposit, and subsequently TDS went in our favour and refunded the deposit bar a small amount for damaged we caused to the property which we advised Robinsons (again over email) straight after the incident occurred! we accepted this charge as we caused the damage. If you rent with these guys, make sure the inventory is fully up to date and include 'everything' as they quote extortionate prices for fix / cleaning services after you have left the property! which again TDS agreed was totally unacceptable.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear that you weren't completely happy with your experience with us. We pride ourselves on providing a good service to both our tenants and landlords but in some cases we do get it wrong and If we have made a mistake we will say so and let you know what we will do to put it right. We take complaints about our service very seriously. You surrendered your tenancy October 2013 and you wrote your review August 2014 (10 months following the event) unaware of your complete dissatisfaction. The reason I believe for your upset was the proposed deductions made to your deposit following our check out procedure. In order to resolve this quickly a dispute was raised with the TDS (The Deposit Service) for an independent adjudication. In their conclusion they (TDS) may an awarded to the landlord for £140.00 from your deposit towards damages to walls requiring repair/s, additional damage caused to bathroom fittings and a large burn mark (iron) to the bedroom that was covered/hidden by a red rug. As a managed letting agent, making any deduction from a tenant/s deposit is not something that we take pleasure in or gain from, but we have a duty of care to maintain the landlords investment.

Very efficient

As a landlord over the past few years I have purchased properties and subsequently let them through Robinsons. I have always found both their sales and letting team to be helpful, very efficient and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them as an estate agent.

Useless. Often didn't answer the phone at weekends, left to do our own viewings despite the house being about 200m from their office and when we did finally agree a sale it turned out the buyer didn't have any funds. Steer clear...

Thanks very much for your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear that you weren't completely happy with your experience with us, whether an error was made on our part or some miscommunication, I'm not sure. We had agreed a sale on your property in June 2011 and the sale unfortunately didn’t proceed due to changes you had made to your property, in regards to conservations issues, preventing the buyer to gain sufficient funds to proceed with the purchase. However, your review was written February 2014 (3 yrs following the event) and we were obviously unaware of your dissatisfaction but would welcome the opportunity to sit down with you and discuss further.
