GoogleI have been a client of Waterfalls for almost 14 years. During this time I have worked with their sales, lettings and property maintenance teams and continue to do so on an ongoing basis.
The service provided has been exceptional.
The purchasing process was very straightforward, even when the vendors relocated overseas, Waterfalls made sure the vendors and I had regular updates and that transactions were completed on time.
The lettings team provide me with reliable market assessments, accurate rental valuations and tenant options. The property maintenance team deliver a reliable and consistent service. They make the effort to discuss options with me and then do what we agree without any fuss. I have never needed to chase them.
I rarely see the level of customer service offered by Waterfalls and I am very happy to recommend their service.

Thanks for the brilliant review Colber - we're enjoyed having you as a client all this time, and hope to be able to look after your property needs for many years to come! Thanks for taking the time & trouble to write such kind words. Best wishes, Andrew Waterfall

GoogleWe contacted several different estate agents when we were looking to move to the area and Waterfalls stood out on so many levels. We dealt with Shona West who was very knowledgeable, efficient and professional and she gave us the best help all through the process. She had the same high standards as us so made sure the house was in perfect condition for us to move in, and she managed to do so under very high time pressure. Everyone we have dealt with in their office since then have been brilliant too. Would highly recommend them!

GoogleWe first dealt with Andrew Waterfall back in 1993! ...selling our first house and buying our second through them and again just recently for our 3rd home. Their professional approach stands alone compared to their competitors. This is coupled with their empathy, honesty and knowledge of the property market. Our Sales Consultant, Matthew Parr, was brilliant and the whole team work together to maintain the continuity of the sale/buying process throughout and keeping you up to date with the chain process. All staff are clued up with every client so you feel part of their team and not just a statistic! Waterfalls have maintained their high standards in over 20 years and this is why we had no doubt in contacting them for our latest move.

GoogleWorst agent ever!! Had our viewing cancelled minutes before it was meant to happen on several occasions, on the day our viewing was finally supposed to happen we called the office in the morning to check it was definitely going to happen, was assured it was all fine... then nobody showed up at the property! Waited for a call back for over half an hour to finally be told after chasing the property was actually sold!!! No message was left with us at all, never return calls either. Very dissapointed!

GoogleAppalling service- these people are morons who could not get their act together during our tenancy, lost keys and parking permits, were rude and did not facilitate repairs during tenancy, which we're highlighted repeatedly.... they then tried to charge us for the repairs when we moved out! In addition, they tried to demand that we stay in the property while they conducted viewings, because they had lost their set of keys, and became quite rude and unpleasant when we refused. The staff we met appeared to be quite incompetent, and managed to lose one of the parking permits we returned, then accusing us of only having returned one, trying to charge us for this.
Generally, steer clear of these cretins if you're able to

GoogleAtrocious customer service from the lettings team. We had one viewing with an agent (Jack). We were enthusiastic about getting the place so next morning we popped over to the office to give them all our paperwork, etc. All that was left was to sign a contract and pay them money. Jack promised to get back to us within a day. He never did. Two days later I call them and he's off sick... okay, so someone else can pick this up?
I called them every day or two, every time I'd get promises of a call back within an hour, or by a certain time that same day, etc. Even once Jack was back he never called me - I kept calling him and he would always never know what was happening and just promise to get back to us. It's one thing to make vague promises about time, but they would give me very specific deadlines they set for themselves to get in touch with me, and they never did. I made it clear we wanted the place and to sign a lease, but their incompetence got in the way.
This process continued for 2 WEEKS! After which we gave up and I went to another agent who actually calls back their clients when they promise to and are communicative. I think in total I got about 10 callback promises, and 0 calls. I've never had to try to give someone my money this hard before in my life. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleI found a maisonette I wanted to purchase and I found Emma from Townends extremely helpful. She answered any queries I had and response times were very prompt.
They recommended a solicitor who has been amazing.
I would definitely recommend buying through them.

GoogleWorst in the area i guess, literally took me two and a half months to speak to someone with regards to the property i rented through them. Sent several emails and left several voice messages but no one ever gor back to me until I stopped paying the rent and someone called, still waiting for the problems to be fixed.

GoogleTownends were great with my sale despite me being on the other side of the world in an unsociable time zone; and a few other complicating factors.
Their communication was excellent and I was confident that they had my best interests at heart.

GoogleMy flatmate and I arranged to view this property, Katie being our coordinator. The viewing was very interesting, and we decided we would rent this flat. There were a few teething problems, but both Katie and James were very helpful in resolving them.

GoogleMy experience with Townends Sunbury, has alway been very positive. We bought our house through them and have now sold the same house through them. They have always been very helpful and quick in responding. Chad was my main point of contact and he has been very helpful. Will highly recommend.

GoogleTownends have done a great job selling our house! Always friendly and helpful - the majority of their work was after the sale - they acted as go-between with our solicitors, the buyers solicitors, us and our buyer - and did an excellent job in ensuring the process went as smoothly as possible. Wish the same could be said for the solicitors! I just wish that they were dealing with the house we are trying to buy! Our main point of contact was Chad - and he was brilliant! Never thought i'd say that about an estate agent!

GoogleI an renting a property through Regents. I have had some minor difficulties with then, which resulted in a dispute. However after a discussion they were sympathetic to my situation and showed kindness and a willingness to resolve the situation.
They can sometimes fail to communicate a complete picture, which can result in issues arising, but generally they fulfill the role of estate agents and can help many people buy/sell/rent a property in a simple and easy to understand process.
My recommendation would be that if you wish to do business with Regents, please ensure you get all agreed costs in writing prior to signing anything. If you have done this, you should have an issue free experience with Regents.

FacebookThe lettings management is less than a joke. I've been trying to deal with them about a phone line issue, where they only have to call the landlord (which I cannot contact myself, as they won't provide contact information) and ask for permission to reinstall a phone line.
It's been now 6+ weeks of me calling multiple times a week, being told someone will call me back within the day every single time. Spoiler alert: not once I've been called back.
I now just spoke to a plainly rude lady on the phone, who essentially told me I need to talk to some other person, which is not there now, as she can't really tell me anything.
You should be out of business, and I am sorry I didn't know any better when I paid your fees. I should have just avoided properties advertised by Townends.

FacebookFOR YOUR OWN BENEFIT, I ADVISE YOU NOT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES OF A BUSINESS!!! If I could give minus stars I would. Absolute mockery of an organising with a bunch of clowns trying to run it. It was a shambles from start to finish with them and would advise you to look elsewhere. Bunch of money grabbing arseholes! Extreme fees to move in! £500 admin fee and £175 to walk around with a clip board and charge for an ‘Inventory fee’ (even got a lot of that wrong!) Told me parking was free when I moved in, got a ticket two days later. The oven broke and it took 3 weeks to rectify as they gave the contractor the telephone number of the person who lived there before me. Shower broke and it took 6 weeks to fix as they have no control over the landlord who apparently didn’t get back to them. A further £100 fee to renew the tenancy after a year. When I moved out it was cleaned to a very good standard but still wanted to charge me £219 for a professional clean as they stated there was a ‘dusty toilet roll holder’ and ‘dusty curtain pole’. Then to top it off there was a few items missing from the inventory which was packed in error by my friend when I left. This was brought up upon check out so I later returned the items to the office in Guildford. 2 MONTHS later when I finally received my deposit back (was charged £180 in the end for the dusty toilet roll holder and curtain pole) I was also charged a further £50 for the missing items I had returned weeks before. When I called them to ask why, they admitted that the box of items was still sat in the office and they had done nothing with it. Then proceeded to laugh and say ‘I don’t know what you want us to do about it?’. Shambles! The agents are all very rude and as much use as a chocolate fireguard! Cannot stress enough how much of a joke this lot are so I would advise everyone and anyone to stay well clear.

FacebookIf you are considering giving Townend the business of letting your property or renting a property from them I would suggest caution. Make absolutely sure that all the I's are dotted and the T's crossed. They have a reputation as being a little sharp with what they promise, the way they communicate with clients and suppliers and what they promise they will provide. They do not have a credible or mature way of handling customer complaints and are reluctant to to accept responsibility for errors made. You've been warned.

FacebookDo not rent anything from this agency because they do not give a deposit and cheat and do nothing if it comes to failure and do not receive phones .if you leave the property to invent anything lest you give a deposit . They swear and they charged me almost half the deposit , I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend to rent anything from this agency . the house was very bad condition and dirty and littered with trash , I repainted and led to clean inside and Garden , and the agency deducted me almost half of the deposit . beware of this agency because they cheat !!!

FacebookAfter a tense few weeks with solicitors we found a saving grace in Chad Newbould from the Sunbury branch! He was polite, honest and listened to our problems, remembered details specific to our sale and always returned phonecalls and went beyond his duties to help chase queries and get our move through to exchange. Huge thanks to him and the team.
