Absolutely appalling to deal with in terms of renting. Have never had any issues with previous exits and they want to charge us £10 for leaving a good condition chopping board and some cutlery. Cleaning company did a reclean no questions asked after they were dissatisfied with some areas and yet they turned around without having checked properly to say this did not take place. Photos of re-clean provided as evidence and instead of an apology, turned around to say their own branch should not have released the keys to the cleaners? Still holding onto our bond money. Landlord has been kept on all the correspondences and far easier to deal with. Wonder what the agency actually does and the existence, if any, of any level of professionalism.

I have got to be honest I am not one to normally leave reviews but I thought in this instance Richard from your office deserves to be recognised. I have worked in the industry for some time so I know what “Good” looks like and although I did not buy a property through Townends in the end, Richard has been completely tenancious following me up every few weeks to see how my purchase is going and that for me Shows the right attributes of a great Neg. Rich has been the only agent out of the 10 I registered with who actually seemed bothered and followed up! Great work Rich, you are an asset to your office and thanks for all your support!

From start to finish Townends Addlestone were amazing. They say that buying a house is one of the most stressful events in life and as a first time buyer I was quite apprehensive about the whole process. The team at Townends, in particular Richard Cotterell, Ben Gray and Maxine Murawski, made me feel at ease, answered all my questions (no matter how silly they seemed) and talked me through the process, keeping me updated and staying in touch from start to finish. Whenever I couldn't get in touch with my solicitor I would speak with the team at Townends and they'd always help. This made it feel like we were all on the same page and all working towards the same goal. I would highly recommend Townends. We had been looking for another investment property in Egham for sometime when we found the perfect 2 bed flat in February with Townends. I have just brought my first property through Townends Regents. Ben was brilliant from start to finish, very polite, quick and always efficient. Ben always answered calls and was quick to get things processed. After finding what was probably the worst solicitors, Ben was very good at dealing with these useless people and went out of his way to help. Ben Gray and his team were amazing!! As a first time buyer I didn't have a clue what steps to take and when to make them but Ben was always there to lend a hand and guide me through the process. By far the Best agent I used in Addlestone, All staff are very efficient and polite, I would recommend Townends Regents Addlestone to all my friends and family.

I recently completed on the sale of my house in Addlestone (August 17). We spoke to several of the major agents in Addlestone and found Ryan and his team at Regents to be very professional and we built a good relationship from the first meeting. Throughout the whole sale process I could not fault Ryan and his team. Here are a few of the reasons I was very satisfied with their service: - Regularly updated with feedback from viewings and any offers - Weekly report which showed their marketing plan for our house and how marketing had been going - Viewings done by the agent, not a viewing agent (this was a massive plus for us) - Felt confident and trusted the information they were giving me - Sales progressing team ensured the sale went though smoothly with both parties All in all, I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to sell, and wouldn't look past them should I ever need to use an agent again. Hated the rental department. They never returned any of my calls and I had to send 3-4 emails in order to get a response. The flat I liked was overpriced, they encouraged me me to make an offer, then they said that it was low and made me offer more and more to the point I ended up offering the asking price. Eventually I got the feeling that they were trying to take time, hoping that someone else would come and make a higher offer due to the perfect location. When I threatened to go to another agency and look for a different property they said that they would have negotiated with the Landlord and they also offered a 50% discount on agency fees that were insane anyway! They lied all the time and took even more time claiming that the Landlord wanted to meet me. He was unavailable for another week or so and was only able to meet me at the flat but the current tenants wouldn't give permission for us to meet there. Menawhile someone else has managed to view the flat and make an offer. They even forgot to cancel my meeting with the Landlord! No need to say that nobody apologised to me ever. I'll never even look at their ads again, I'd rather live under a bus shelter than finding a property through Townends. I'm glad I went to another agency, fees were less than half, they were honest, professional and very communicative. Everything was hassle-free and that is priceless when you're moving home!

Disgusting service my disabled mother is I'm dangerous conditions they were meant to bring the property up to scratch before she moved in but work is shoddy there is a long list of problems, the most serious is loose carpet on the stairs my mum has had 2 falls and been waiting a month for them to sort it out. The property manager Camilla is rude and just fobbing her off do not go with this company

If you're a student prepared to be totally scammed by them and the scamming landlords they like to work with. staff would rather sit and have a gossip than serve you.the house wasn't even cleaned and plugs were clogged with hair, then tried to charge us upon check out for cleaning when we left the house immaculate! absolute joke. didn't get the money. knocked off about £1500 they were trying to scam out of our deposit money with the landlord. Never again and will always make Sure i spread the word of how awful this place is to work with to help save another student going through the hell we had to deal with. we had to involve solicitors - but a luxury a lot of students cant afford - to fight for our money back. will take advantage. avoid avoid avoid!!

Townends estate agents is beyond a joke. The staff just do not care once they’ve taken your money! Permanent issues renting with them, luckily we’re now getting out of it all and I vow to NEVER deal with this company again. Let themselves in your home with no notice, are difficult to dealt with once you finally manage to get hole of someone and will argue with you to make you feel like crap. They really should be ashamed of themselves.

There are plenty of agents in Addlestone, but the team at Townends are a cut above the rest. I've sold my property with them, and they worked extremely hard to get to a close in tough market. Selling a property in this market requires a professional experienced agent. Both Ben and Richard at Townends are a credit to their industry - consummate professionals, industrious, fast movers and are one step ahead all of the time. My advice is to take your time speaking to agents, only then will you see the difference that Ben and Richard bring to the table.

Richard and Ben are an absolute credit to the Townends team. They helped me purchase a property thorugh their office and I recieved a five star service from start to finish. I have dealt with othe local estate agents in Addlestone in the past but the service does not even come close to Townends Regents. It is difficult to describe quite how chaotic the Townends maintenance team are. Between the frequent replacement of our 'property managers', the several weeks it could take between emails, the failure to ever answer the phone, refusal to complete maintenance / share information on the landlord until the council intervened, failure to inform landlord of maintenance issues (once taking several weeks between us telling them about a serious issue and contacting him to discuss...), the black hole that is the 'maintenance property portal'.... I could go on. We eventually gave up and liaised directly with the landlord. A lot of room for improvement, I wouldn't use them again nor recommend to others. I am also very sceptical about any firm who fills their facebook page with positive reviews from their own employees. This would be more subtle, FYI, if they weren't all from the same two-week period.

Standard "how much money can we get out of you?" agency. Crazy high fees (so much so that, when I repeatedly complained and threatened to not go ahead, they chopped off £100, which brought the total down to "bonkers" rather than "fucking bonkers".) Eventually my landlord, who was also sick of them, said she was packing them in and would deal with us privately. Avoid - try to deal with a landlord privately rather than fund avaricious companies like this.
