GoogleWhile I didn't end up signing (a letting) with Oli, I really appreciated all the effort he went to to help me with my flat hunt. Oli was always engaged, professional and empathetic and he really made me feel at ease. GoogleAwful experience trying to book a viewing for a rental property. Despite being told on several occasions that I would be phoned back to confirm my booking, I never recieved a call. I had to make 4 seperate calls over the course of several days simply to get someone to confirm the viewing. I was told my phone reception was poor on one occasion (which is understandable on them) however despite leaving my number - I was hung up on and never called back. After following up on this twice, I was informed they no longer had any viewings left and have since been told the house is now let. Appalling rudeness from staff. When informing them of the poor customer experience I recieved which had resulted in us not viewing the property on time I was told 'I did not deserve an apology' and was again hung up on. The kind of estate agents who only add to the poor reputation of the industry.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWe had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience with Portico Islington. We turned up on time to our viewing and the lettings agent Angus claimed he'd been waiting outside for 10 minutes which was a lie as we were parked outside the property waiting because it was raining. He then called us 25 minutes after our viewing (only after we chased the agency twice) with absolutely no apology or solution, just claiming it was too late and he had moved on to another viewing so we'd need to reschedule for another day - despite us driving 1 hour to come and see this property. We even spoke with the branch manager Chris in the hope someone would be willing to take 5 minutes out of their day to show us the property but we were hit with a bunch of nonsense excuses. Overall extremely dissapointed with the service and would never use nor recommend Portico to anybody!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleWe just sold our house in Stoke Newington with Portico Islington. From the beginning the team (Megan, Meera, Oliver & Chris) were friendly and professional. They promptly booked in the valuation and once we instructed them, the photographer was assigned who did a brilliant job. They arranged loads of viewings and the momentum was kept up throughout the process. We would highly recommend Portico if deciding to sell your home. Listened to what we wanted and genuinely tried to help find us an apartment we'd be happy living in - didn't feel like we were just being sold to. GoogleRuny (our agent) was really efficient during the process of agreeing our tenancy. We had great communication and he was happy to answer any of our questions. After collecting our keys we noticed a few maintenance issues that needed sorting and within minutes of sending an email to Jermaine, our property manager, we got a reply and our issues are being sorted. Would highly recommend!
