My husband and I moved to London at the beginning of May, and one of our first priorities was finding a flat. We contacted several letting offices, but many never responded to our inquiries. We actually found Portico simply by walking through the Highbury neighborhood and from the moment we walked in Ben Lahcini made us feel welcome. Ben took the time to understand what we were looking for and even showed us a flat that same day. Over the following days, he arranged several more viewings and was always responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right place. His willingness to help without hesitation kept us optimistic during what can be a very competitive and stressful rental market in London. Although we ultimately found our home through another agency, we're incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and kindness Ben showed us throughout our search.

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Ben L for a walk-in appointment. We were new to the UK and were having great difficulty getting anyone at agencies across the city to speak with us. I only use portico because of Charlotte Bailey - her help and service is outstanding / I have other agents I use in different parts of London and if I could use Charlotte for everything I would - I have been using portico and particularly Charlotte now for a number of years, probably around 8/9 and I’ve only stayed with them because of the helpful nature and great professional relationship I have with Charlotte. Avoid Portico like a plague. The management has changed recently, and unfortunately, it's been a disaster since. They have hired a bunch of clowns , the new Property Manager escpecially - Melissa Alves Meireles. Appears completely unprofessional, service quality has dropped dramatically compared to just two years ago. Communication is poor, and attempts to clarify contractual obligations are met with vague or dismissive responses. Honestly, even ChatGPT could have provided more coherent and respectful responses.
