GoogleThey never pick up the blinking phone! They've also not confirmed an appointment, which I was told they would do. Pretty poor service so far... (Update... evidently they are having the office rewired and agents are working from home, this is why the communication has been poor.)

GoogleI have never wrote a bad review. But If I couldn’t let this go. If I could give zero stars I would. This is based on my experience of renting from portico for the last year. Dealing with the Highbury office I will never have anything to do with this company again. I strongly advise against ever renting from this company. They will withhold your deposit and not respond to your emails. I had to wait 3 months for my deposit to be returned. If I didn’t pay my rent I would be chucked out. It’s criminal the fact they can do this to good tenants that always pay there rent on time and leave the property in perfect condition. Based on terms and condition of assured tenancy agreement that I and the landlord signed. I should have received my deposit back within 10 days of vacating the property. I contacted the Highbury office many times. Eventually I found out by email that the inventory was not done when we moved out a member of staff viewed and inspected the flat when a new tenant was in situ. The flat should have been inspected while we were there or after we left, before the new tenant moved in. I continued to ring the Highbury office weekly to find out why the deposit team were not responding to my emails. They would tell me they would ring me back or Shamira from the deposit team would email me, they never did! The stress and anxiety this has caused me! It’s appalling how they treat there customers and get away with it. I raised a dispute with TDS deposit scheme. After months of TDS chasing them on the matter. TDS has refunded our deposit. If you read other peoples reviews you will see they does this a and I strongly advice not to rent with this company save yourself the STRESS!

GoogleI can't speak more highly of Guy, and Portico Highbury in general for our house purchase. From our first house viewing through to our negotiations as well as keeping us informed of delays and accommodating our numerous visits (and even delivering our keys to another branch!) their service has been second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Portico Highbury again.

GoogleREVIEW: My family and I had agree a price with Portico for a rental accommodation within the Arsenal Stadium Square. We had agree a move in date of Saturday and that keys would be given to us at the Portico office in Highbury. On the friday, day before our expecting move date, I was contacted by Mr. Louis (Portico), and he was very abrupt and short starting that holding deposit had to made today and immediately. I was at work in an all day conference and found the whole situation very stressful. He sent me very short text messages threatening that there would be no move in date on the following days as he had not heard back to me and that the administration office was going to close at 4.30 and that basically there would be no move in date on the following day, this is utterly unacceptable!! Mrs. Charlene, Louis' manager, was not any help either, she did not diffuse the situation, when I spoke to her as Louis was on a viewing, she made things even more stressful as I didn’t have my credit card with I could not make the transfer. Portico staff were rude, aggressive and demonstrated a bullying behaviour on the phone. I would advise anyone who is thinking of using this agency to stay well clear. Eventually that evening we managed to pay the despot with their financial HQ department and went in the following day to collect the keys and they couldn't have been more standoffish/cold with us and my children. Horrible people and we will never use and put family and friends off to using Portico.

GoogleLouis was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get my new flat ready for an early move-in. He worked overtime to make sure my move went smoothly, and kept me me updated at every step. I couldn't have asked for a better service. So far, so good. I would highly recommend Portico.

GoogleHi would highly recommend Portico Battersea, I’ve had my property listed with them for many years now, they’ve always been extremely professional and helpful, particularly Medleen and Ama. Any issues I’ve had have always been dealt with in good time, and they always do a great job of finding reliable tenants, taking real care to check references, and usually with a quick turnaround between tenancies. I’m also really happy with the way they manage the property, keeping on top of boiler checks etc, fixing anything that breaks (but always checking with me first). They also offer a great service where they send me full reports with pictures of the property so I can see exactly how it is being looked after. I’m really happy with the service they provide, I would be stuck without their help! Ama in particularly is an excellent property manager, she really goes out of her way to build a great relationship with the tenants and the landlords, and nothing ever seems too much trouble, she's so friendly and approachable and really efficient. Thank you!

I've been using Portico for 12 years and they have always managed to find reliable tenants without rental voids. In a tough business Portico Camden show a rare degree of integrity. Recently Aleksandra has been wonderfully helpful with a number of maintenance problems with our flats- always efficient, prompt and sensible.
