We recently sold our late mum/step-mum’s house through Pearsons and despite the market challenges and the tricky negotiations, the team of Nicki, Debbie and Martha were always superb! What impressed me most was that whenever I called or visited the office, no matter who I had contact with, they were always up to date with what was going on. They kept us updated regularly with whatever was happening and offered their advice when appropriate. Excellent team, excellent service. I can strongly recommend them.

Utterly unprofessional were asked to provide best and final bid on a property by 5pm on Friday, get a call to say was successful at 7pm then at 10am on Saturday morning get a call saying a better bid came in over night. Beware this company is unscrupulous in its dealings I urge anyone looking to market with them beware as you are narrowing your potential purchasers.

A big thank you to Talitha Wilson and her colleagues at Pearson Estate Agents for their outstanding support throughout my relocation process. I was living in the North East of the UK, far from Southampton, and couldn’t attend the agency in person during the initial stages. Despite the distance, they made everything smooth and efficient, from signing the contract to completing all the reference checks, all handled conveniently online and over the phone. Once I arrived in Southampton and settled into my new flat, they invited me to the office to finalize the paperwork in person, which I really appreciated. Additionally, the previous tenant was selling some furniture, and the agency kindly helped facilitate the process, making it very straightforward for both of us. I’m very happy with how everything went and truly appreciate the friendly and professional service I received. Highly recommended!

Extremely lazy run letting agent! I called to book a viewing on a property that was uploaded to there site for 10mins, only to be told that this property was currently unavailable for viewings until mid August, I then proceeded to explain to the him my circumstances and that my interest in this property is genuine and that I'd like to view this asap, I was then told too leave it with him as he's sure he could twist there arm to get me a viewing, it's now 4 days later so I called the agents back and spoke to another agent only to be told that this property has now been Let! I then proceeded to explain to the young woman my concerns as I was under the impression that I was valued and I gave all of my details for them to contact me, she then proceeded to tell me that it's first come first serve so unlucky!! I will never use this poor excuse for a business and I urge everyone to make sure you try every other agent before you use these clowns.

Lynne, Paul and the entire team at Pearsons were excellent. Lynne immediately understood the unique appeal of the property we were selling, and valued it accordingly based on her research and extensive experience. She achieved a much higher price than other agents who quoted. I live overseas so it would have been a very challenging process without their help and expertise, nothing was too much trouble and emails were always answered promptly. Started off a good experience but moment we got into the house we had issues and Pearsons Southampton didn’t really do a lot. So after a week of living at the house we heard noises in the loft which turned out to be rats. We spoke to the neighbours at both sides said no they couldn’t hear anything. We reported it to Pearsons and they got pest control out and they came out 4 times in total. They told us the issue has been going on for years due to our loft being covered in droppings. It was horrible laying in bed hearing them running around above your head and running around in the bathroom and under the bath. Pearsons told us that the rats had to be gone first before they started filling holes. Weeks passed and the issue was getting worse and Pearsons still didn’t do anything. We finally had enough of being ignored on emails and not getting any answers on phone calls so we went in there and the person (the manager) who told us that holes will be filled once rats have gone was now telling us that holes had to be filled straight away but they never got a contractor out to do it. After a month I couldn’t handle it anymore and had to move into my parents place and stayed there whilst i hoped the issue would get solved. But nothing! In the end we received an email saying if we wasn’t satisfied with the experience then we will have to pay an exit fee to leave. We tried to fight this as we got an email from Pearsons from our landlord saying the issue has been going on for months as they have spoken to neighbours who originally told us there was nothing…so they really rented out a property to us which wasn’t fit for purpose. However, Pearsons never got the issue solved and have rented out the property again. Horrible experience and will never rent from them again.
