GoogleI tried selling my house with a, supposedly, leading Cricklade Estate Agent for over a year but they failed dismally. Having spoken to Tim at length, I instructed McFarlane to sell it and, bang, 2 days later it was sold. The McFarlane Cricklade team is the epitome of everything you could want in an Estate Agent - well-connected, knowledgeable and professional. I was struck by their interpersonal skills which is what you want in someone representing your property to others. Tim & Tom were both highly proactive estate agents and attracted a lot of interest in the property which culminated in a sale after 48hrs of them marketing it. Silvia then ensured a meticulous progression of the sale, updating me on a daily basis. McFarlane should be the Estate Agent of choice if you want a professional and proactive team to represent you. GoogleWe used McFarlane’s to sell, they have offered a very professional and helpful service throughout the process. Dealt with Dom mainly, he gave us plenty of information on the current housing markets and always responded quickly with any questions that I had. He also took some excellent photos of the house which I’m sure aided in getting plenty of potential buyers through the door, which resulted in getting full asking price! GoogleWell what can I say......Sylvia is a marvelous asset to McFarlane. She steered us through our turbulent purchase until completion. If it wasn't for Sylvia we would have withdrawn from what was a nightmare purchase but is now our lovely home. She went over and above her remit to help us. She is very experienced, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. Should we ever move again, we will definitely use McFarlane/Sylvia to sell our property. I would also like to thank Dominic for his help

GoogleAsked to take a property off the market before my viewing, or if not possible, to arrange an earlier viewing- they advised this was not possible, my viewing was the earliest they could arrange and I had to wait until my viewing. GoogleHad an appointment to view a house between 10.30-10.45. Arrived at 10.32 . Agent had gone. Then he blamed us for not calling to say we were near. We travelled 40miles to view. No apology nothing, not even a reply from their director to an email sent. Will not be viewing any of their properties again.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleMcFarlane’s has recently sold our house, they were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions/ queries I had. With everything that is going on at the minute they put lots of procedures in place whilst people came in the house to view it which made us feel very safe. GoogleCarla refused to provide key information on new tenants when I bought a BTL property they had previously been managing. Over a week after email request sent no response. Claims information has been ‘archived’ and is unavailable. Not exactly a shining example.

GoogleI have been lucky enough to buy my house through McFarlene. They have been a great estate agent through every step of the process. Tom has met us at the house a few times, and has been so helpful whilst we measured everything, and also patient with us. Silvia has been helping me with the sales process, and has been wonderful. As first buyers we are sometime unsure of the process, but she has helped us every step of the way. McFarlene have been very professional (and so friendly), you can always get hold of someone to speak to quickly. Thanks McFarlene!
