GoogleLovelle at Gainsborough were very effective at selling my mothers house. Because I do not live locally I had to deal with them mainly by phone and email. They conducted the viewings and negotiated the sale quickly, and they were very helpful and good at keeping me informed on progress. I would recommend them to anyone selling a property in the Gainsborough area.

GoogleWent down on a Saturday to leave some documents. On Google it marks is from 9:00-13:00. We got there at 10:50 and we were told that the office in charge of rentals closes at 11 and even though the lady that sorts all that out was there, she couldn't take our documents as she was waiting for a call. I think they should specify as we can't believe they only open for 2 hours on Saturday.

GoogleLived in property years. Never had issue. Try to move to better myself but also to move away from problem tenant they gave us again but they not help and ignore my emails. I phone ask for update they say someone will call but nobody does.

GoogleAlright if ya selling a house!! But try renting from.these people, you get rude response! No help AT ALL, shoved aside, telling you to get a guarantor and then never ring/email you back, when contact is finally made the property has already gone!! Dont even consider looking at your application., or even let the landlord look at the situation your in and Consider letting to you, would NOT RECOMMEND these for lettings

As a business, we always take customer feedback very seriously and look inwardly to see how we can improve our service levels. Having looked at your case, I can see that you had previously applied for a property a number of months ago and where not accepted for this. Our policy is too keep applications on file for 28 days (in line with our GDPR and AML policies) after this period of time has lapsed then a new application is required. When you recently visited the office with your partner and we advised you of this, sadly you were not happy that new documents were required as you stated you were unable to access them. During this conversation, our colleague also discussed your personal circumstances and advised that a guarantor would be required (for that property), again you were not happy about this and decided to leave. Having reviewed the interactions, I believe that our team have acted correctly and have been transparent with you in line with our polices and procedures. We do understand that your need for a new property was rather urgent and that this would make the situation stressful to you. Sadly there is a shortage of properties in the rental market currently that has clearly impacted on your situation. I had less than 4 weeks to leave my current property and the Lovelle lettings team was on hand to help me. With Emily an Wendy taking control an supporting me thru every step i secured a property to rent an moved in with no hassle an was on hand to help with all my questions now I’m in my property an can now put my feet up an make it feel like home. Let’s not forget to mention the lovely card an treasure box on arriving to the property with the keys to find sweet an face masks ect. One of the cutest touch’s I’ve seen. Many thanks Lovelle team

GoogleWe rented a fully furnished three storey house on the sea front in Cleethorpes for two years and from the start Lovelle's gave us a lazy service and then tried to rip us off on leaving. Below is a history of the issues we had with Lovelle's: 1. We had difficulty in getting any traction or response from Lovelle's on initial enquiries for the property. They failed to return calls and seemed to have very little interest closing the deal. Only reason we concluded the rental agreement was we kept pushing 2. The house wasn't cleaned before we moved in and contained various items left from the previous occupiers (food, condiments and cleaning products) that they tried to charge for disposing when we left 3. Whilst in the house they were very slow to respond with various maintenance issues. One example was a rotten front door that took the best part of a year to replace. Lovelle's blamed this on the landlord, but guarantee it wasn't chased with any endeavour, hence the comment about a lazy service. We also had a leaking sink in the kitchen that we had to chase three times and a leak through the ceiling that was never resolved 4. They put the house up for sale without even having the decency to consult with us. Bearing in mind we had been renting for over two years. We returned home from work and there was a for sale sign up 5. When moving out we invested a considerable amount of time cleaning the house to avoid any charges, and despite a walk around with Lovelle's and comments that the house was clean and fine, weeks later we received a £280 charge for 9 hours cleaning, which was fabricated and not possible. We took this to arbitration and it was decided that we should pay at reduced amount of £100. For context we paid £50k plus in over two years (never missed a payment) and Lovelle's were petty enough to try and charge us £280 for a spurious cleaning charge. The house has been empty and unsold for three months now. Terrible Customer Service and terrible business sense Lovelle's. My advice is don't have any expectations about the service you will receive and you won't be disappointed. Also be careful with the check out as they will be opportunistic with your bond.

GoogleCouldn't have asked for a better service from James Peacock. Always at the end of the phone and couldn't have helped more with the purchase of our new home. Highly recommend Lovelle as used them in the past to sell a house and yet again, James was there to help us along.

GoogleWe have received the most amazing service from the Sales team in Grimsby. We had been in our property for nearly thirty years and had completely forgotten how stressful selling a house can be. However, from the initial valuation by Chelsey, whom we took to immediately, to the lovely photos of our house taken by Lewis, who very quickly got these and the expertly produced brochure on line, working in the evenings to do this, to James, our allocated agent, who must be the kindest, most dedicated professional working in his field, we cannot praise this agency enough. Once our sale had been agreed there began a period of very frustrating delays in exchange and completion, caused entirely by the inefficiency of a conveyancing firm at the bottom of the quite short chain. We really don’t think we would have come out of this process sound in body and mind without James! He has been amazing in reassuring us, in chasing up solicitors and estate agents down the chain, in liaising with our buyers and really acting as a counsellor to us and to our buyers when it seemed as if things were just grinding to a halt. You are a star, James. Thank you so much for everything you have done, above and beyond your call of duty, to get our sale to a successful completion.
