We would personally like to thank Julie from Lillingtons Whitehaven branch. We decided to use a different estate to sell our house which we now regret. We only purchased through Lillingtons but Julie the manager has been very helpful throughout the whole process and I couldn't recommended Lillingtons enough. When we come to sell again we won't have to think twice about who to market our property with. Very happy with the service!

Googlethe worst estate agents i have ever came across, our valuation appointment was cancelled & rearranged for another day, it took 1 week to reduce our asking price in the window, charged £165 in termination fees to which another week we were quoted £138. We moved to the cumberland estate agents after 10 weeks.

In today's market we were tempted to use an online agent to save money on commission, I'm so glad we didn't! Lillingtons know the local area and their target market very well. During the selling process we were kept informed every step of the way. Things weren't going to plan with the exchange and completion dates and I know Julie chased it every day, making the stressful time that little bit easier for us. Lillingtons have excellent customer service and an outstanding knowledge regarding all parts of the process, they understand that you don't want communication to stop after you have the sale agreed. They were there every step of the way with help and advice., we feel they truely are the best agent in West Cumbria and we can't recommend them highly enough. I have used several estate agents in Whitehaven to try to sell my property, all without success. I had been told that Julie was in charge of sales at the Whitehaven branch and having dealt with her at a previous agency when I bought my house and having seen how pro-active she is in selling houses, I decided to transfer to Lillingtons. Within four weeks of the property going on the market with Lillingtons, the house was sold for above the asking price. Following the sale of my house, I bought a new property and again used Lillingtons. In buy my new house, I found Lillingtons could not do enough to help me. At all stages of both selling and buying houses with them I was kept fully updated as to proceedings which resulted in both the sale and purchase of my properties to be smooth and stress free.

The standard of service from the Lettings Team is exceptional, as a "Landlord"... as many will appreciate, void periods are best avoided! Lillingtons and especially "Liz" delivers a very friendly yet professional approach and attitude and has a great understanding of the whole process............and doesn't just offer "lip service " as many Letting Agents are often (at times, mistakenly), accused of..... The sale of my property was dealt with in a professional manner even though the Client (me) could be quite demanding at times. Julie was very patient with me and kept me up to date with proceedings on a regular basis and even went the extra mile to chase up Solicitors etc for me. Lillingtons is a very professional, well run independent business that puts the needs of the vendor first but is scrupulously fair to potential purchasers. Emphasis is on good practice, integrity and transparency of process throughout. Brochures and photographs are of a very high standard and the displays in the local office are outstanding. If we sell again we would certainly return to Lillingtons.

I selected Lillingtons, Cockermouth branch to sell my deceased mother's bungalow after I wasn't totally happy with the two other local agents I had used to obtain a valuation. I found them to be very professional and helpful. In addition, I also "cold called" in another of their branch offices to see how I would be greeted .before deciding to use them. I was very impressed and this helped me to make my decision to use Lillingtons. It was most important to make the right choice as I live a very long way from the property I was selling. I was more than satisfied with all my dealings with their staff and was highly delighted when the bungalow sold to the very first viewer.. I know this was very lucky, but I had chosen Lillingtons as finding a buyer could have taken much longer and I had confidence in them.

They offer an efficient service, are friendly and approachable nothing being too much trouble.
