The process to rent a property took so long and was so painful. The agency took the fees very quickly but took an age to process the application and didn't seem to know what was going on or prepared to work for the fee they took. You have no choice other than to pay upfront then it becomes a lottery as to whether the application is a success which means you're financially at risk. Not at all value for money. Not at all happy with the service, in fact it was pretty pathetic.

I had the extremely unfortunate 'pleasure' of dealing with these crooks.
I rented from them, always paid every single rent on time and was in turn given shocking service.
I was left to live with a water leak in my kitchen for weeks
Our bath cracked and again was left with no repair
I made official complaints and was told they find themselves to have done nothing wrong - of course you haven't lenwell!
A close friend has also had a very similar experience where lenwell have tried to keep all their deposit despite returning their flat in good order.
Basically a bunch of crooks who will take your money and do nothing for it.
I sincerely hope they go out of business.

I recently have moved back to Bedford and after many years of owning my own house needed to rent a property.. After speaking with several rental companies I was shown unsuitable properties and left confused at the entire process and feeling that I would have to settle for somewhere that I was not going to feel happy in.
However, once I called Lenwell all of this changed. Hannah, Kate and Ruth were simply brilliant. They explained the process, listened to my requirements and then came up with the perfect property for me, in the right location and right price.
As a first time Tenant I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of guidance and re-assurance through the process. Every time I called or emailled things were dealt with conscientiously and efficiently.
Once the arrangement was concluded the hand over was dealt with very well and follow up calls to make sure I was settled really made me feel valued as a Tenant and that I could approach them with any issues.
I am so lucky to have rented my property through Lenwell and cannot recommend them highly enough. Professional and fun to deal with - if you have a property to lease or are looking to rent - do yourself a huge favour and let these fabulous ladies take the stain away from you!

for example they charge 30 pounds for references if you need them for some other agency and they taking move out fee from deposit, every day im getting spam from them about new properties

Our fees are advertised in full compliance with the law and are competitive in the local market, We also give tenants an option of paying the checkout fee themselves or having it deducted from the deposit.
I am sorry that you felt our advice for vacating tenants wasn't helpful, most tenants find it invaluable in helping them prepare the property to be handed back to the landlord.

I have recently rented a property through Lenwell and have dealt with Sarah Carroll through the whole process.
Sarah has been great, from the moment I called in regards to viewing the property right through to moving in. When I first called to book a viewing, Sarah mentioned other places I may be interested in that I hadn't seen and even got me a viewing the same afternoon. She has been at the end of the phone and email all the time to answer all of my questions and support me through the application process.
Sarah is warm and friendly and is very helpful and adaptable in her communication to suit you. The process of becoming a tenant with Lenwell was very quick and easy and all done online so there is no trekking to the office to sign any paperwork, and copies of any paperwork are emailed to you straight away.
