Worst service I've ever encountered, I rent and my moving day was a complete shambles! Mess everywhere, doors unhinged, broken glass on floor, they had also guesstimated all my meter readings and now I've been stuck with a huge bill from the previous tenants, even though I had given them my meter readings upon moving in.
We paid in excess of £4k to move in and this agency did nothing apart from take our money and then ditch us.
Terrible customer service and made the moving day hell.

They have let out my Hammersmith flat for more than 5 years in an excellently efficient manner which was particularly reassuring to me as I was living in S Africa and then more recently Albania and therefore meant that I was relying on them heavily tthan had I been in the UK
The same applies to the manner they have just sold the flat. Clearly proactive at all times,, Martin secured a very satisfactory sale. I endorsed H and G without hesitation for their recent well deserved Hammersmith business award and I would strongly recommend their services. Estate agents do not always get the best press, but in H and G's case they deserve to be praised

From looking at the properties initially where being shown around was helpful and not-at-all pushy, through to the tenancy itself where we found that Horton and Garton were always available without being overbearing. In particular, I would note the ease of finishing our tenancy which can sometimes be a fraught process with a less professional agency. Overall, I would absolutely recommend them.

GoogleHaving previously had bad a experience with a large agency when letting my flat, I was nervous about having to use one to sell it. And initially, I only contacted H&G as they'd sold the flat above mine, and I intended to compare a number of agencies.
I'm pleased to say that from the moment we met, Martin gave us such confidence in his ability and his manner that we didn't feel the need to meet anyone else. His relaxed yet professional style put us at ease and he was both positive and realistic throughout the process. We felt comfortable that a large chain of agencies was not required to get us a good sale. Catie and John were also informed and enthusiastic about our property and we were pleased with the number of viewings we had.
When it came to negotiating the sale, Martin gave very helpful, patient advice and he made the fact that we'd returned to NZ no problem at all. As soon as the sale was agreed, Martin was proactively nudging the process forward. I'm sure the sale and subsequent exchange only came to fruition thanks to his gentle but persuasive manner in getting us over the line! I would not hesitate to recommend Martin and the team. GoogleH&G managed our property for about 4 years after a disastrous experience with Sequence. The letting team led by Germain was pretty good and I would recommend them if you are a landlord.
When we wanted to sell we didn't look anywhere else. H&G proved over many years that they know W6 inside out. They have a genuine passion for the area and for everything to do with residential property. Martin and John worked professionally and seamlessly to set the right price, market the property, work with potential buyers and ultimately secure the best deal for us. They were easy to contact even from the other side of the world and they also worked really well with our solicitor. If you are buying or selling in West London I definitely recommend giving H&G a call.

Chris was and still is a tenant of a Horton and Garton and had a complaint with HG Management Dept over a maintenance issue with regards to the washing machine at his rented property. Our Lettings Manager Ashley Clements and Property Manager Germain Gulevic spoke with Chris and this matter was resolved.
