The team at Horton and Garton were wonderful. I was very happy with the smooth sale of my house especially as it sold for above the asking price! John Horton himself was very present at the beginning of my journey and he was a great source of advice and even helped me fill in a stack of forms. Later in the process George Smith stepped up and saw the sale through to completion. Big shout out to George for being extra attentive, even to the extent of delivering a file to me in person to my house in Hampshire. Thank you George.

My husband and I recently contacted Shiyane regarding our search for a rental property and she was a pleasure to deal with, remembering details from our past interactions and winning us over with her friendly manner. We have just sold our family house in west London with the help of Horton and Garton. At the outset I had not appreciated what a rollercoaster it would be, and all the complexities. Based on our experience, Horton and Garton are outstanding. We worked with Matthew Clarke and John Horton. At each stage, they were focused, supportive, professional and positive. John and his team are an amazing bunch of professionals! They guide us through a difficult process of decision making. Everybody involved shared their in-depth knowledge of the area and sale process. That allowed us to make all the right decisions. Due to the situation we were in, the sale process was lengthy. None of that made Horton & Garton team work any less. First sale fell through (due to circumstances out of our control). The Team found the second buyer promptly. House was sold for almost 12% more than the first buyer’s offer and almost 19% more than the asking price! Tremendous success! We cannot recommend John and his team at Horton & Garton highly enough. There is seriously no need to look for another agency to sell your property through if you are in the Hammersmith/Brackenbury Village/ Chiswick area. From the moment we first met John, to value the flat, through the whole process, everything has run like clockwork- and honestly, I have bought and sold enough properties in my time to know that this is not normally the case! Our “special agent” Matt has been like a knowledgeable friend, as has “young” George who also showed prospective purchasers around. Matt has only chosen potential buyers, not time-wasters…he has matched the clients to the property with extreme skill. We have all kept in touch with each other in real-time via a WhatsApp group…incredibly useful!! Feedback has been immediate and incredibly useful. Together we have all worked as a well-oiled team…and the property has sold without hitch. We are able to move on into another life stage with ease- what more could anyone ask for!! I have nothing but praise for Horton and Garton, especially for Shiyane and Fahim. Searching for a rental property in London can be a daunting task, particularly with our specific requirements for a garden and pet-friendly property. After several viewings with various letting agencies, our experience with Horton and Garton stood out as the best by far. Shiyane was exceptionally friendly and professional, consistently keeping us informed, even going above and beyond by updating us on a Friday evening after working hours when we made an offer. Her dedication and communication were truly commendable. Fahim, one of the best agents we encountered, also went the extra mile. He extended his working hours to accommodate our viewing, never rushing through the process. Fahim answered all our questions honestly and gave us his undivided attention, making the experience pleasant and informative. Unfortunately, the landlord accepted another offer, and we have now found a property elsewhere. However, in the future, Horton and Garton will definitely be our first choice when searching for a property.

Very efficient service. It was our first flat in London and we were worried that the process to rent it would be long and painful, but from the offer to getting the keys was less than one week long.
