The great tenants that Horton & Garton found for me moved out recently after nearly 3 years. Aggie went about looking for new ones and suggested a more adventurous price (which I thought was rather optimistic). Within just hours they were booking in viewings and although the rental market has settled down a bit recently, secured me two asking price offers within the week. However, due to family issues, I was forced to withdraw the property from the market and left Aggie to break the news to the potential tenants. Aggie was uber understanding and gracious about the situation, although I felt awful for wasting their time, hard work and expected fees. Aggie and her team were relentless in their pursuit of finding great tenants, whilst exercising the highest degree of professionalism, diligence and charm. Of course I’ll be calling H & G as soon as the flat is ready to market again and wish to thank Aggie and her terrific team for all their help and understanding.

We found our new rental flat through Horton and Garton. The service provided by Fahim was really good from the initial contact up to us signing the lease. Fahim was always available and quick to answer any of our questions/queries. He even allow us to do a second viewing of the property which was most appreciated. The whole process once our offer got accepted to the move in was very smooth as well. We have now been in the property for more than a month and again, the service provided by Horton and Garton (who manage the property) has been really good!

Alliyah was really quick with the responses and explained in a very clear manner the whole process for getting the flat rented. It is official. John Horton is 'The House Whisperer’. His combination of unrivalled local housing knowledge, coupled with his authentic passion for getting things done, makes for very pleasurable conveyancing experience. We had a complicated and time sensitive purchase to make and less than a month left to achieve it. With the clock ticking, I called John, who despite being on the other side of the world, rustled up the perfect house for us. With a record timeframe of 25 days from offer to completion, we couldn’t have been happier with the process and outcome, largely co-ordinated by a very professional George Smith. The entire process was managed via a handy WhatsApp group where daily updates and info was shared. Responses were usually there within under 2 minutes! The real magic at Horton and Garton is based on their drive and efficiency, and their non-existent ‘hard sell’. They are more like house ‘match-makers’, bringing buyers and sellers together in a whirlwind romance where they really can make the ‘happily ever after’ a reality.

My partner and I recently bought our house together from H&G and Michelle was our agent. Michelle is highly professional and pleasant to work with. She is very responsive and always came to the property when we needed her there and went above and beyond to help with issues that inevitably emerged during the transaction. She is extremely organised, communicative, and friendly. Ultimately, we were buying our property during a very unstable time (post mini budget and rapid rate rises) with a lot of market uncertainty; I'm sure that if we didn't have Michelle diligently brokering the deal, it would have fallen over. Worst agency I've dealt with. They didn't do a proper check on the property before renting it out so they had people doing work on it throughout the first month of us moving there. They delayed our moving date last minute because they wouldn't check if they received monies when I literally sent them proof of transfer first thing, leaving me basically homeless for about 3 days with very short notice. Luke was rude and would ignore my desperate messages asking when we would be able to move in. Once we moved in, we realised the property was crazy mouldy, something that they didn't even bother mentioning and an obvious health hazard. Would not rent from them again.

We have had a fantastic experience with Horton and Garton and can highly recommend them. From start to finish it was clear that they were the best agent in the area. Our property was valued and on the market very quickly and was very soon under offer. The contact and communication was top class and we were always kept well informed along the way. Although the first sale didn’t go the distance (for reasons outside anyone’s control) we were back on the market and under offer again within days. The process ran very smoothly throughout, with Tadas helping to keep the process moving whilst maintaining the same levels of communication. One of the most impressive things overall about Tadas’s role in our sale is the way he went above and beyond when circumstances led to our completion date happening, while we were on holiday. He helped us immensely by committing to supervising the packing and removal of our belongings from the property with the removal company. It is this sort of personal touch that has really impressed us. Thanks to Tadas again, and the whole Horton and Garton team for helping us secure our dream move.

I have just exchanged contracts on a house in Hammersmith W6, Tadas was my sales negotiator. My offer was accepted by the Seller on 17 January and the contract was exchanged on 15 February, a fairly astonishing feat in today's difficult market. At all times Tadas was engaged, punctual, and polite but effective at moving the deal forward quickly to prevent the chain from collapsing. He did his utmost to keep everyone informed. at all times. You can't ask for more than that and I can highly recommend.

We bought a property where Horton and Garton were the agents years ago and John so impressed us that when the time came and we had to sell the property, we chose them as our agents to market the property and we did not regret that decision. John and Phil were efficient, enthusiastic, honest and upfront about the whole process. Horton & Garton have been fantastic - from the first viewing the service has been miles ahead of the competition. All of the viewings were straight forward to organise, the viewers were knowledgable (we had some viewings with other agencies who didn't know the basics such as square meter of the flat, or simply just not turn up), and all the staff are great to deal with, especially Joel & Nick.
