GoogleI just moved to London and I struggled to find a decent place to settle in till I found about Gordon & Co. Samuel asked a few questions about my preferences and quickly suggested me a suitable place, the process was really easy and quick, after a week I got the keys for the new place and everything went really smoothly. GoogleWasted a lot of our time. Insisted on six months rent in advance and deposit before any contract had been signed. We were hesitant to do this because the pre-tenancy stated "No legal agreement to let the property is made until the tenancy agreement is signed". Also our referencing had not finished yet, and the pre tenancy agreement contained a clause about how an offer would not be made until this went through. Additionally, the tenancy agreement they sent said that payment should be sent after the agreement was signed. Eventually, they decided they did not agree to the terms of their own tenancy agreement after I put pressure on them to follow it, and they withdrew from the agreement. Fortunately, we did not pay the six months rent before they decided they didn't agree to their own tenancy agreement.
Hi Christopher, thank you for your feedback and sorry it wasn’t a better experience. Unfortunately, as you know, we had to ask for the 6 months' rent in advance due to the affordability threshold not being met. This is a legal requirement for renting in the UK. We use the ARLA Propertymark Client Money Protection service to safeguard your money. Procedure is that you would need to sign the agreement first, which we explained. It’s a shame that this led to the landlord pulling out, which is a very rare occurrence for us. We wish you all the best and would be happy to discuss this further if you’d like: 020 7223 3100

GoogleSome suggested Gordon and Co to let my flat recently. Unfortunately I can't really take the possibility seriously as they blatantly write dozens of fake positive reviews themselves to try and bump up their status and hide the negative reviews. Sorry guys but honesty is my policy.

GoogleThe five start is for Samuel Adeyemi who helped us find a perfect flat fitting our needs in Fulham. Before this I had two terrible letting negotiation experiences with two other large letting companies, which wasted one whole month. As the time of our previous letting contract running out, we were quite in a hush to find a good flat. Sam did a great job and all the processes went smoothly. Highly recommend!

GoogleAgents boards are officially banned from our estate in Battersea and this is a legal prohibition included in our property lease. Despite informing Gordon & Co several time that their board is illegally mounted on our homes they did not make any effort to remove it. Several calls could not persuade them and eventually we had to use wire cutters to remove and destroy it. Curious that they have the time and resources to put the board up but are too busy to take it away. As a result here is their one star review for their arrogance in thinking our homes are their free advertising holding. It looks like their service level leaves a lot to be desired too. Battersea is full of great agents, but not this one.
Hi Margaret, thank you for your comments. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. Whenever a request is made to remove a board, we immediately inform our third-party board company who normally action this within 48 hours. Upon your second request, a phone call was made for a same-day removal. It shouldn’t have resulted in you taking matters into your own hands, and we assure you that boards will not be installed on the estate again.

GoogleTerrible. They made my one year of tenancy a nightmare. At the end I had to wait a lot for my deposit to get back despite the handover showed flawless flat. Never again.
