The Harpenden Frosts Team were wonderful. From the rapid and flawless marketing, spearheaded by James, we gained an offer within a week of instructing them. Then came the tricky part - what looked like a smooth cash, no chain sale, became very convoluted. However Trudie and the team persevered on our behalf and got us through to exchange helping maintain the integrity of our onward purchase. The whole team were diligent, responsive, professional, reassuring and friendly throughout. Would highly recommend them to would-be sellers.

I have dealt with a few

I have dealt with a few estate agents but these are the worst. The level of service they provide is horrific. Any requests or emails sent to them asking for help had to be followed up numerous times. We were left for weeks with no working shower or toilet - this happened a few times and we had to chase every few days for an update and would only hear back from them if we chased them. Before moving out we had agreed a date for moving out on the phone with one of the agents, who then left and when I followed up for agreement in writing I was accused of lying and not actually getting agreement from the agent who left. We decided to not go with their cleaners upon move out (didnt want to give them a penny!!) and they advised that the apartment wasn't cleaned to their standard but would not let the cleaners come back in and re-clean, instead made us pay for their cleaners to come in. Charging above and beyond the normal price for cleaning. All in all a very bad experience and pity any tenant that has to deal with them. Even our landlord expressed how bad they were to deal with.

SHARED OWNERSHIP GUYS BEWARE. Was told they have done many properties through hightown and shared ownership WRONG. I could write a book! We lost many potential buyers only then to admit liability was told management would deal with our case/selling of property. A week later passed down to another sales man. Wasted my time/money STRESS. Lies. Being passed onto a sales man to divert all the wrong doings from their side. I did 99% most the work myself chasing hightown and buyers mortgage broker. Whilst they just advertised and blamed everyone else for being slow. Never chased for paperwork. Was told hurry find your property only to find out when we did find out property that out place which was meant to be on its last stages hasnt even started on their first stage. Didnt even have a mip, shared ownership application wasnt even submitted! We even had viewings for ppl who couldnt even buy the property in the first place. Cos the right questions werent asked in the first place. BEWARE!

Not to be trusted for lettings..

Frosts agents st albans handled the letting of our property for several years but failed to let us know when the tenant was leaving therefore leaving us with a shortfall of six weeks - very unprofessional - and then told us that the price was too high and it was all our fast even though they set the rent in the market ..then backtracked and even passed us on to another office in marshalswycke .. very unprofessional & very cutthroat do not trust this people cost us nearly £1000 .
