Brilliant service by Oliver who went out of his way to answer all my questions about a flat I was looking to rent. His professional and caring attitude certainly made me feel much more at ease with the stress of finding a new place. Edit: Moving out after 5 years with Frosts is being made unnecessarily difficult by an unfriendly move manager. I am repeatedly pressured with implied deposit deductions for declining her recommended end-of-tenancy cleaners. Their preferred company quoted £300 + VAT for a tiny studio flat, whereas independent local cleaning services quoted less than half that price.

I recently secured a property from Frosts St Albans, after having been off work for 6 months with an industrial injury. Due to this nature it had been very difficult for me to be taken seriously by a landlord, as proving my income was impossible. having been out of work for so long. I dealt with Shelby Dunn. I told her my situation and was up front about my struggle thus far. She, from that point when above and beyond to arrange me viewings and ultimately get me into a property. Shelby is the most straight up, kind and understanding lettings agent I have ever come across. During the referencing process, it went back and forward for 3-4 days over and over again, and Shelby fought tirelessly to get me over the line when she could’ve thrown me in the bin and gone for any other easier candidate. I have rented with Frosts in the past and whilst they are efficient, professional and pleasant to deal with…..in my 10 years of renting, I’ve never come across a Shelby. And for this reason, I recommend her so highly to anyone, going forward. KG

We had a viewing booked for 4:30pm in St Albans. I travelled all the way from East London specifically for the appointment, only to receive a phone call when I was just a few minutes away saying it had to be cancelled because they couldn't find the keys. Mistakes happen, but this should have been identified well before the appointment rather than after prospective tenants had already travelled. What disappointed me most was the lack of any meaningful apology or attempt to offer an alternative property or solution. The whole experience wasted almost half a day of my time and an unnecessary return journey. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with very little confidence in the agency's organisation and professionalism. edit : there's no reply button, i edit this message instead to reply frost's reply. the booking was under my flatmate's name, and I dont want to share it here. but the date was 1st Aug, instead of last Sat. and i have attached the first message my friend got it from Frost with this review. i need to correct though, it's 35mins before the viewing. but it doesn't change much, as i am reaching St Albans station at the moment, as it will take a 15-20mins walk from the station.
