From the very beginning, the team was professional, approachable, and genuinely committed to helping us every step of the way. Communication was excellent, every query was answered quickly and clearly, and we always felt informed about what was happening. They went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was their friendly and personal approach. Rather than feeling like just another client, we felt they truly cared, not only about our peace of mind throughout the sale and purchase process but also that of our buyers. GoogleI instructed Dacre Son & Hartley Ilkley office, a long-established estate agents, to sell a house in nearby Addingham. It was valued by them earlier this year and I was advised that it should be put on the market late March/early April. After three weeks of viewings by 15 interested parties, Dacres advised accepting an offer at the asking price from a party who had a ready buyer for their own property. Completion was achieved in early July. The conduct of the transaction by Dacres was efficient and professional throughout. Coincidentally in the same month, on a Radio 4 programme about estate agents, which included a good number of horror stories, the overwhelming advice when selling a house was to use a well-established agency with good knowledge of the local area - which is exactly what I had done. GoogleNot having bought or sold a house for 12 years we didn't realize how complicated the business has become. Vicki steered us confidently through a nail- biting process over several months, never displaying anything but a positive attitude and working hard to drive our sale (and purchase) to a very successful conclusion. All the Dacres staff deserve praise for their support. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

She reached out to me ahead of the property going onto Rightmove and handled the sale brilliantly, always proactively chasing both the seller and my solicitor to make sure things stayed on track and the sale went through within 12 weeks. GoogleAfter a... "less than ideal" experience with another estate agent, choosing Dacre, Son & Hartley in Wetherby was the best decision I have ever made! The customer service was outstanding, with a lovely personal touch. The whole team, especially Saoirse, went above and beyond. No issue was too big or too small, and I was never left in the dark. I was kept in the loop at every stage. They also handled all the communication with my solicitor and the buyer’s solicitor, which was a lifesaver since solicitors can be a bit hopeless! I can't recommend them highly enough.
