We recently sold our house with Coopers and had a great experience. Greg was amazing throughout the whole process, he was trustworthy, kept us up to date and provided great advice not only on our sale but also on our onward purchase. Ben and Alfie were also fabulous. Highly recommend this team, they really stood above many other agents in the area.

Greg Brayley works very proactively for his clients. At all times he has been friendly, supportive and highly professional during our house sale. He is a very thoughtful communicator, keeping us updated at every stage of the process. His advice and guidance has been invaluable to us, from marketing our property to recommending an effective legal team to carry out the conveyancing for us. We would highly recommend working with Greg, either to sell or buy your property. Thank you so much Greg, your efforts on our behalf are very much appreciated.

I recently bought a house through Coopers in Ruislip and had a really positive experience from start to finish. Ben Marron dealt with the process from the start, and he was excellent throughout. He was always helpful, on top of everything, and very understanding of the situation. Having dealt with a number of estate agents in the past, my experiences haven’t always been great. This time was different. Ben really took the time to hear me out, understood the situation, and handled things accordingly. The whole process felt smooth, well-managed, and far more personal than what I’ve come to expect in the industry. I’d happily recommend Coopers and would definitely use them again in the future.

I had initially purchased the property through Coopers and several years later I decided to sell through them again as they were already familiar with the property. Greg and the team showed great knowledge of the area, the demand and the market conditions. Although we were off to somewhat of a wobbly start, we did eventually receive multiple offers and the team showed great patience to get the sale over the line.

Great experience working with Greg from Coopers! I needed a valuation on my property but wanted to be upfront that it was not for a potential sale, just to get a value. Rather than the lack of interest shown by the other estate agents I contacted who would only offer an online valuation, Greg was happy to pop round and couldn’t have been more helpful and knowledgable. In this day and age where customer care is almost non-existent it is a genuine pleasure to know professional and caring companies still exist. If I ever end up selling or buying a property I’ll be ringing Greg and using Coopers.

We had a nightmare experience with them. Viewed the property with them and we love it, it was our dream house. We put the offer over the phone with Alfie who was very positive about it and just ask to send an email. Shortly after he call us to say that the offer can not be accepted because we are not selling our property with them and the only way to secure the property will be to sell with Coopers. We love the property and knowing the only way is to work with them we cancelled the contract with other agent and sold with them. After agreeing on our sale we heard from Alfie and our agent the same lie that the seller pulled out and also we didn’t offer enough ( which we didn’t get to the point to negotiate). And how we know they lie ? We found the owner she was clearly disgusted we the founding, never heard about our offer , what more they were told the house was not popular and other lies. It was too far to cancel the deal but Alfie’s behavior was not acceptable and caused a lot of damage. We do not wish this nightmare to anyone 😣

I had a terrible experience with Coopers (West Drayton) during my house purchase, which left me homeless for weeks. They were my only point of contact from the seller’s side and assured me they expected completion by mid-June, saying at worst it would be the end of June. Based on this, they advised me to hand in notice on my rental property, which I did. My landlord quickly found new tenants, so I had no option to stay longer. Throughout June, I called Coopers two to three times every week to confirm the timeline, and every time Ben reassured me that it would be completed by the end of June. I explicitly asked Ben who gave these dates, and he confirmed it was Coopers themselves, not the seller or solicitor. Then, just two days before the end of June, Ben suddenly told me it would take another two weeks. When I heard this, my partner and I were terrified as we had nowhere to live. I had to throw away expensive furniture because I couldn’t move it into hotels, and moving multiple times with a large truck was unaffordable while paying for hotels and eating out. We split our essentials between friends’ houses and lived out of one bag each, taking leave from work because we were constantly moving between hotels, searching for cheaper last-minute options. The suggested “two weeks” extension didn’t complete the transaction either, it was delayed again. During this time, I had to personally meet the seller to understand what was happening, and that’s when I discovered the other side of the story. The seller showed me emails from their solicitor confirming that no June completion date was ever agreed upon. In fact, completion was never possible before mid-July because key checks were still pending. I escalated the issue to Callum (a director), who claimed they were notified by the seller that completion would happen in June. This was completely false, as the seller’s solicitor emails proved otherwise. Combined with Ben’s admission that the dates came from Coopers, this shows they misled me and then denied responsibility. I have now escalated this matter to The Property Ombudsman (TPO) because of the severe impact and lack of accountability. This experience caused huge stress, financial loss, and mental strain. If you value transparency and reliability, I strongly advise avoiding this agency.

Praveen · 11 October 2025 · Coopers Residential West Drayton

Agent replied · 11 October 2026

Hi Praveen, thank you for your review. I know that this is a matter we have already discussed with you on multiple occasions. To reiterate, I am aware of the impacts the delays with your purchase had on you and your partner. Again, I am sorry that this situation occurred as I would not wish for anyone to be homeless during a property purchase or sale. However as stated, Coopers are not at fault for this as the factors that delayed your purchase, are entirely out of our control. In the instance of your purchase, you asked Ben for advice on when to serve notice to your current landlord so that you could coincide this with moving into the new property. At the time when this conversation was being had, Ben was in constant communication with both yours and the sellers solicitor, the sellers themselves and the branch dealing with the sellers onward purchase. Based on what stage the transaction was at, at the time and also based on conversations with all parties involved, it was agreed that the end of June was a realistic timeline to aim for. This is what Ben communicated to you and I know this is what your notice period was based on. The timeline was not set by Ben and sorely Ben, nor was it set by Coopers, the conversation was had with all parties involved. Furthermore, the timeline was an aim and not legally confirmed as this is not possible until contracts exchange, which again Ben did explain at the time. As you know, there were some unexpected delays with the legal work which occurred with the sellers onward purchase. This was not apparent or expected when the above mentioned timeline for completion was discussed with all parties. As soon as we were made aware of the possibility there may be delays, we informed you. I even recall Ben advising you to try and seek a small extension to your notice period from your Landlord. At the time this conversation was had, there was still the possibility of meeting the proposed timeline, but we were trying to find alternative options in case of further delay. I understand this was not a viable option for your landlord, but it was an option we tried to explore to assist you. I would like to stress that your purchase was ready to conclude before the deadline and the delays with completion were due to the chain involved. We had ensured that everything under our/Coopers management was ready but sadly the delays were elsewhere. With regards to your conversation with the seller, the emails they have showed you are the exact cause of the missed deadline. Delays with enquiries on their purchase resulted in a July completion date. I can however categorically confirm that without these delays, completion was viable for June and this was a realistic aim. Once again I am sorry you feel this way and I do understand the impact the delays had on you. I wish these could have been avoided but I am confident the above outlines that Coopers are not at fault. Unexpected delays with the seller's purchase, which are entirely out of our control, affected the date of completion. It was not negligence by ourselves. I wish you all the best with your new home and hope you settle into the area. Thanks, Callum

Unhelpful and Unprofessional, Avoid Cooper’s Lettings! My experience with Cooper’s Lettings regarding my tenancy deposit refund was extremely frustrating. After moving out, the agency told me no documents were needed for the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) refund and promised to handle it. Weeks passed with no update. When I chased them up, they suddenly told me to contact the landlord myself, something they never mentioned before. Their lack of communication, poor advice, and refusal to assist with the TDS process was unacceptable. If you expect any real support from this agency, look elsewhere.

This review does not apply to our West Drayton Office - this is a Sales Office only. You received a response via our Ickenham Office. However, here is it again for you:- You were advised of the below on the 10th June 2025 “If we are the managing agent for the property then we will discuss any dilapidations with you directly. Alternatively the landlord and you will need to discuss the content of the report and agree any costs that may need to be applied. When you have agreed the costs you will both need to inform us in writing and upon receipt we will disburse the deposit accordingly. If the landlord did not use the services of an independent inventory company then you will need to arrange a time to meet with the landlord to check the property.” As you are aware we do not manage the property and therefore you should of contacted your landlord directly on the deposit return.

Had an extremely unpleasant experience with Hillingdon Cooper’s Residential. When we moved out, we were told no documents were needed to process our deposit return through the TDS. After three weeks with no updates, we had to chase them, only to be told by the manager that we needed to contact the landlord directly for the refund, completely contradicting their earlier advice. The lack of clear communication, misleading information, and zero support made the process unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend Cooper’s Lettings to anyone who expects reliable information or proper assistance with their deposit.

Callum and the Team at Coopers West Drayton are great! We recently sold a property through them and the experience was a good one, right from the initial interactions, through to completion. We recently sold our property via Coopers in West Drayton and couldn't be happier with the service we received. Callum was quick to onbaord us and ensure the listing was perfect. Josh and Ben did a great job showing potential buyers round at convenient times to suit us. Once the sale was agreed Callum diligently followed up with both parties and solicitors to move the sale forward quickly and Ben did a great job getting it over the line.
