When I ask the reference report, they come back to me and they said they need more verification. It seems they did not check for the first time and they do not know why they fail me first time. GoogleMy husband and I were looking for a flat in central London from overseas, on a tight timeline, and were sadly finding many of the stereotypes about estate agents to be accurate. So many listings online were unavailable, not pet friendly, or managed by unresponsive agents. We were at the end of our rope. Then we found Cluttons.
Libby Ware is an excellent agent who responded to my inquiry first thing on a Monday morning, sending tons of information, photos, and a video walkthrough very promptly. We had an accepted offer within a few hours of her response to my inquiry. Her description of the property and the building was spot-on, and she was extremely responsive to the many questions we had as prospective renters from overseas. I felt completely comfortable offering on the property without viewing in person, thanks to Libby's diligence. The remainder of the referencing process and tenancy administration was managed very professionally by her colleague Gemma Coleman. The team set out all the relevant steps in accurate and complete detail, allowing us to finish referencing and pick up the keys the very next week. I first contacted her regarding a property that I was interested in, and her response and appointment set-up were very prompt. She ended up showing me another flat in the same building that was perfect for what we needed - a feat considering we had specific requirements and also a pet we were bringing over. Given we were relatively inexperienced in the letting process in the UK, she walked us through the whole process with transparency and followed up with us every step of the way. GoogleI have rented an apartment in Chelsea through Cluttons in Sloane Avenue. All the staff were really nice and súper profesional. In 10 years in London abs changing 10 times and dealing with many agencies, these guys were just amazing. Very responsive, caring and helping all the time.
Special mention to Michelle, Tom, Philippa and Alys who were in contact with me during the year and specially during the move out period which is normally busier organising viewings and providing instructions for check out. Very very high recommended these guys to any person interested to rent an apartment in the area, there are many agencies in the area/street but the Cluttons staff are simple the best.

GoogleThe service we received from this branch was extremely mixed: several basic problems - rude emails, repeatedly addressing us by the wrong names, failing to have things ready for check-in as agreed. However Evie was the star of the show - answered all our questions quickly and helpfully, and nothing was too much trouble. So I guess it just depends who you get on the end of the phone!
