GoogleGeorge and the rest of Cluttons team were very helpful when we were purchasing our property. He was always quick to respond and would chase other people if it was something he couldn't answer or resolve himself. The process was as smooth as it possibly could have been, and they were patient whenever we were running late or there was a delay on our end.

GoogleWe have used Cluttons Tower Bridge to manage our rental for years and their service has been more than exceptional. Then we decided to sell and used their agency team. We were delighted with their work, finding a buyer and seeing the sale through to closing. Inevitably there were issues but Cluttons were attentive proactive and transparent throughout helping resolve any issues speedily and with consideration and consummate professionalism. We would recommend them to anyone who wants a personal service to ensure minimum hassle and worry.

Entirely avoidable management service from Cluttons. Very slow to respond and not proactive in dealing with issues. Repairs through Cluttons’ network is extremely expensive. They don’t have tenants’ or landlords’ interest in mind - never once have I proactively received proper explanations for high costs or alternative quotes (unless I asked). Massive conflict of interest as Cluttons receives commissions from the contractors for works done - they are incentivised to over-charge. Of all the big agencies, Cluttons falls the most short in service.Quick follow-up:- the kickback for Cluttons on repairs is 12.5% (reiterating the conflict of interest). Took over a week for them to get back to me- I have written in to the head office, and while they have acknowledged the feedback, they have not responded to any of the points I have raised.

All round very disappointing. Sales marginally better than property maintenance but only just. Unresponsive. High turn over of staff. Very frustrating to deal with. I thought it was maybe just our experience but looking at other reviews I can see it’s not. I won’t use going forwards

We moved into our rented property just over a week ago. Unfortunately, there were some initial teething issues, but Cluttons responded quickly to our concerns and resolved the issues. Upon arrival, the boiler was out of service, leaving us without heating for a couple of days. We reported these issues to the agency via email, and in less than 24 hours, we were contacted by a contractor to arrange an inspection/repair. The contractors brought portable radiators to tide us over, and Cluttons has also offered a rental reduction to compensate.Before moving in, the agency maintained good communication with us and responded promptly to our queries. Overall, we are happy with our experience (much better than other agencies)!

When we moved in to the property, none of the promised cleaning and repairs had been done. Our dish washer remained broken from the day of our viewing until the day we moved out a year later. In fact they fixed it 3 days before our contract ended by which point we had vacated the property. And now they are showing the same level of unprofessionalism with our deposit. We moved out 50 days ago and had a formal inventory check in and check out organised by Cluttons. We paid for a professional cleaning company to clean the place (even though it was already cleaner than the day we moved in). We even had them come back and rectify any items the inventory clerk raised. After numerous unanswered phone calls and emails we have finally been told that our deposit will be returned to us in full. This was 7 days ago. We have repeatedly asked them to give us an indication of the date we are likely to receive it and have been ignored. We are still waiting... Our overall experience has been dreadful. Renting in London has never been easy and they have only made it harder.

GoogleUtter incompetence. This agency clearly places little to no importance on customer service and professionalism. I am appalled to read all their reviews online and cant believe their management team doesn't pick up on all the bad reviews left for them. 21 days after tenancy exit they are still faffing about with my deposit refund, even after the landlord has confirmed there is no deduction they are trying to make false claims for rental arrears. The delay can only be down to their utter incompetence. My checkout report was only sent to me 14 days after exit and only after I chased them. Appalling service and they clearly don't know what they are doing. STAY AWAY, DO NOT USE.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWe recently completed the purchase of a flat in Wapping. Joe Glazebrook from Cluttons in Wapping managed the process on behalf of the sellers. Throughout the process Joe was responsive, professional and pragmatic. We achieved good outcome and would be happy to work with them again.

GoogleAt the start of the tennacy, Jake was lazy, dishonest and nearly caused us £100s in extra cost because he didn't want to admit to the landlord that he made a mistake. During the tenancy Cluttons have dropped the ball with basic tasks like replacing a non-functioning smoke alarm (after trying to convince me we don't really need one?!) and communicating properly about renewing the contract. Dishonest, which is scary considering the amounts of cash involved. Would not recommend. (side note: most of these events are old, but you don't want to post about it until you know you have your next accommodation lined up - I would bet there are more complaints but people too scared to raise them)NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleCluttons manage our rented flat in Wapping. Our tenants left in the summer of 2020, during lockdown. Surprisingly, the professionals at Cluttons quickly found us new tenants who signed up for a year without ever setting foot in the flat, thanks to the videos Cluttons had prepared. In June 21 , when those tenants left, we moved into the flat for an interim period and updated and repaired a number of issues. We moved to our new, permanent home in September and asked Cluttons to find us a new tenant. They found a guy, who signed up at the full asking price, in about 3 hours! He made it a condition that he moved in within a week. We were delighted that Cluttons managed to complete all the paperwork in time and also get the flat professionally cleaned and an inventory completed within his timescale.
