GoogleThey were first recommended by a local property developer friend and, seriously, I cannot recommend Castles highly enough, particularly the agent we were lucky enough to have to oversee the sale of our deceased mother's property, Steve Tebbutt. What should have been a relatively straightforward sale turned into a bit of a marathon, not least due to the foot dragging of solicitors, but Steve was on it every step of the way and kept pressing and keeping us regularly informed where lesser agents wouldn't have bothered, quite frankly.

GoogleCastles undertook the letting of my mother's flat when she moved into a care home at the beginning of the year. They dealt with everything efficiently, and I was able to leave it all in their hands and not have to worry about it. A new tenant is moving in soon, and they have sorted it all out, with minimal input required from me, which is perfect. I would thoroughly recommend their services on the letting side.

Google1st Class service from making an appointment to view a property, checking in to ensure everything was ok both Daniel and Tom seriously deserve to win the best Estate agent in the UK, and they should be both recognised as a team and individually. Always upto speed, queries answered immediately, liaising with vendor on my behalf. I just dont have the words but hoping 1st Class means the highest level of excellence. They did more work than my solicitor, who just took the money and did hardly anything. She couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone and tell me we had completed! Thank God Tom phoned to tell me. Highly recommend these guys to everyone. Both Tom and Daniel reassured me all the time, when I felt anxious and they made me feel calm. I sincerely hope you win the Awards. Thank You guys!!!

GoogleMy Mother was in need of company and I wanted her closer to home so we asked Castles to:- a. Recommend suitable local sheltered accommodation b. Locate a retirement flat c. Sell / rent my mothers house to cover the costs of renting the sheltered accommodation The team rose to the challenge. They took the time to take us around various retirement schemes in Farnham and explained the pros and cons of each. Once we had decided on the best location their inside knowledge identified a possible ideal flat. We viewed the flat and it was perfect. Now, selling one property in time to move into a rented property can be very fraught as it can be impossible to get the timings right. Castles recommended we rented out my Mother’s house as this would give us the best opportunity to get the flat we wanted (the rental market was more favourable for the house we were moving away from). We have never rented before so this was a new path for us to tread down. The Castles team guided us every step of the way. Clear documentation setting out all the steps and actions required made the flat renting a far easier task. Castles managed all the viewings and found us someone to move in. They helped us also get the house up to rental spec via competent and trustworthy trades people This week my Mother moved into her sheltered accommodation. I have not seen her in a long while as happy as she is now, And she is just down the road now! Thank you Castles for managing the whole end to end process for us. I might add, Castles have also managed my last 2 house moves hence why I asked them to manage my Mothers move. I knew they would do it

GoogleWe purchased a property marketed by Castles in Aldershot in July 2019 and highly recommend them. After viewing one property with them, one of the team got in touch to let us know about another we might be interested in before it was widely marketed. It was exactly what we were looking for and we feel very fortunate to have secured it. Duncan, Ellie and Ian were always a pleasure to deal with; they responded quickly, kept us informed of progress and gave useful advice, including on our sale through another agent. When we ran into difficulties with the first solicitor we had appointed, they quickly helped to sort another out and made sure the transition was efficient. I was grateful for Duncan’s patience when sorting a date for exchange and completion on the property we were selling (through another agent) was proving difficult. We hope we don’t have to move for many years but would definitely look to use Castles again if we did.

GoogleI recently completed a complex sale through Castles and cannot praise them highly enough. I mainly dealt with Tom who was exceptional, proactive is his middle name! He was always ahead of the game and knew exactly what was going on from all sides of the sale. Communication was outstanding with regular unprompted phone calls to keep me posted. This is a winning team! Personable and polite, Tom and Daniel do everything possible to take the stress out of what can be a stressful situation. Their local knowledge is brilliant and they fully deserve to be the No 1 estate agents in Waltham Abbey. For a first class service it's Castles all the way!

GoogleI went to Castles for a probate valuation for my late Father’s house. Tom came round to do this and the service I received was both very professional and compassionate. When we decided to put my Father’s house on the market, my brother and I went round to see Tom and he talked us through the whole process. He said they would arrange an open day and deal with any prospective buyers which was a great relief to my brother and I as selling our childhood home was going to be a very emotional process. Throughout the whole time the house was on the market, Tom would regularly phone to give an update which was very reassuring and whenever I contacted the office, both Tom and Daniel were always able to answer my questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Castles to anyone considering buying or selling a property and would like to thank Tom for dealing with the sale of our Dad’s house in such a sympathetic and friendly manner.
