Castles have managed a rental property for me in Farnham for 10 yrs and the service has genuinely never been less than excellent. Nothing has ever seemed to be to much trouble and problems always resolved quickly and easily (its normally been them chasing me to get my act together). Penny, Kelly, Kate and others have been brilliant and between them made my life very easy. Having sold this house last week, I should add that the sales team seem just as good as the letting one, thanks Steven. I will miss their quiet competence - Any agents I use in the future have a very hard act to follow.

Myself and my sister moved into our flat in February. We are first time renters and castles made it so much easier than we thought and a whole lot less scary. A huge thank you to Kate for helping us find our property and replying to any questions/parts of the process we needed help with and for setting up bills. Our property was actually suggested to us at another viewing as a personal recommendation and couldn’t have been more spot on. She made the whole process of renting very easy and is great at her job. I would like to say thank you also to Sally, who after Kate was on holiday took over the handling of quite a few of the enquiries/repairs due to the property as well as giving information on queries I’ve had as a tenant. She’s very responsive on Email and phone and is always very pleasant to talk to. Really great customer service. Friendly team and was nice to not be made to feel stupid/silly as first time renters - all questions welcomed. Would definitely recommend to any first time renters/buyers. Thank you Castles

Thank you so much to Steve for his excellent work in securing the purchase of our house. The house we wished to purchase was a probate purchase and a complicated situation. Steve worked phenomenally hard to secure the house for us. He created links and maintained them throughout the process with the seller, the sellers lawyers, ourselves and our own lawyers in order to keep the purchase moving. We are extremely grateful to his 'thinking outside the box' for ways to speed up the sale in order for us to move before lockdown struck. They were first recommended by a local property developer friend and, seriously, I cannot recommend Castles highly enough, particularly the agent we were lucky enough to have to oversee the sale of our deceased mother's property, Steve Tebbutt. What should have been a relatively straightforward sale turned into a bit of a marathon, not least due to the foot dragging of solicitors, but Steve was on it every step of the way and kept pressing and keeping us regularly informed where lesser agents wouldn't have bothered, quite frankly.

My Mother was in need of company and I wanted her closer to home so we asked Castles to:- a. Recommend suitable local sheltered accommodation b. Locate a retirement flat c. Sell / rent my mothers house to cover the costs of renting the sheltered accommodation The team rose to the challenge. They took the time to take us around various retirement schemes in Farnham and explained the pros and cons of each. Once we had decided on the best location their inside knowledge identified a possible ideal flat. We viewed the flat and it was perfect. Now, selling one property in time to move into a rented property can be very fraught as it can be impossible to get the timings right. Castles recommended we rented out my Mother’s house as this would give us the best opportunity to get the flat we wanted (the rental market was more favourable for the house we were moving away from). We have never rented before so this was a new path for us to tread down. The Castles team guided us every step of the way. Clear documentation setting out all the steps and actions required made the flat renting a far easier task. Castles managed all the viewings and found us someone to move in. They helped us also get the house up to rental spec via competent and trustworthy trades people This week my Mother moved into her sheltered accommodation. I have not seen her in a long while as happy as she is now, And she is just down the road now! Thank you Castles for managing the whole end to end process for us. I might add, Castles have also managed my last 2 house moves hence why I asked them to manage my Mothers move. I knew they would do it

In an industry that is blighted by poor reputation you would be forgiven for approaching a house purchase with a degree of trepidation... Unless that is, you are lucky enough to be purchasing through Castles of Farnham, where Steve and his superb team offer a refreshingly honest, consultative and caring approach to selling houses. We had a specific requirement and our brief was adhered to completely, with no wasted viewings of houses that weren't suitable. In fact so committed to our requirements were they, that we bought the only house they showed us. It serves to prove that getting it right first time is possible when you take time to understand your client's needs. Inevitably, there are bumps in the road to completion and our purchase was a complicated one. Steve's attentiveness, good advice and ability to arbitrate when required smoothed out those bumps and made completion possible where others would have failed.
