I cant express to you how easy Yasmin made this process for me. This wasn’t just a sale for her, she made it her mission to find me my forever home. I will forever be thankful for all that Yasmin did. She supported me throughout the process and was there for me whenever I needed her advice or help. GoogleWhat a helpful and great people to work with, my wife and I have not sold or bought a house in a long time and you hear a lot of bad things about estate agents. When first speaking with Sandro (Manager) he gave his sales pitch and I thought ok let just go with it, but most if not all he promised Sandro and his team done. All in all we sold the house and was in our new home within 8/9 weeks maybe 10 but with all the issues that come with selling and moving Sandro and his team made moving as easy as they could have. We would like to give the Castle team in Hackney a big thank you.

GoogleCASTLES LETTING AGENTS in Edmonton. Why you should steer clear. In 2023 they managed my property where in 2024 I took over as I lived a couple of doors down from the property and the tenants were not getting any replies when they needed something repaired through castles. In 2024 I started to noticed overcrowding and lies from the tenants. I decided to look into their reference checks and I was told originally they were husband, wife with a brother forming as a family under the tenancy agreement, only to realise there was no connection of family with different surnames and the house could literally be a HMO (house of multiple occupancy) castles had lied to me about the relationship and the documents of the husband was not the same photo of the husband I was introduced too. Castles was more interested in getting the commission. Now I’ve worked them out they have become nightmare tenants (all going through the courts as I write this) today I decided to pick up the house keys as castles never sent them or dropped them off to me. Yes it’s been 8 months too long with the keys. When I went to pick them up i came across the Lettings manager David Manning whom decided to shout out to me with what I’m doing with a drug dealers car!! Now I would say that is not a very professional standard being set from him. He was offensive and stereotyping myself for having a nice car. This will be taken up with senior management and I do hope they have cameras recording in the office so this could be picked up on. Not a respectful agency and be careful with who they bring into your property.

In terms of property maintenance, we have no record of any unresponded-to repair requests from the tenants. We always aim to resolve maintenance matters promptly and professionally. The comment was meant as a compliment, and I regret that it came across otherwise. GoogleTook some time to reflect on my experiences of trying to purchase a property with Castles. It fell through after 6 months, and this is not their fault at all. The viewings with David were positive and he was helpful where possible. However the communication with another member of the team was at times quite unpleasant, one phone call at the beginning was patronising and rude. There were a number of times information was miscommunicated, and emails added to a lot of confusion and misunderstandings. Overall it didn't feel like we were working together to get the sale through, rather it was me against them/the seller. I was completely committed to the sale, I stuck it out for 6 month and it felt like an uphill battle. The cherry on the cake was them trying to push through the purchase without a valid and necessary EWS1 certificate, which my lenders required. I've since had a completely different and very pleasant experience having completed a purchase with a different estate agent. I think Castles could be much friendlier and supportive towards potential buyers. Edit: Thank you for your response Sandro. This feels like an entirely different tone of voice to the emails sent to me in the last month or so. I'm not writing this because the purchase fell through or because the EWS1 wasn't valid, but because of my experience with Castles. It was a frustrating experience for all involved but the communications I received were not consistently supportive or informative.
