Professional and efficient

I am just leaving a quick message for anyone hesitating, looking for a letting agency you can trust. With Brian & Holt, it is the case (I spoke with a few in Coventry and some didn't sound right at all!). I was renting a house in Coventry from them (the tenants being 2 professional) and every time we needed something to be checked, they sent someone, for free obviously. In 1 year we had : the sink unblocked, the dishwasher unblocked, the backyard door adjusted, a new ring bell and someone to check one of the heaters that had a minor failure. Aimee Wotton was very helpful and in the end we had our deposit back (we did a deep clean and left only minor scratches on a couple of walls). An easy and reliable way to rent. Quentin S.

Although I didn't wind up using them again this time. Every interaction I have had with Brian Holt has been excellent. Having to use other estate agents has highlighted this. They are open about fees, prompt and communicate appropriately. Although I was disappointed to miss out on the property because the Landlord wanted a family in which I felt was a little unfair being a young professional, I can't fault BH for their service and quick communication. They are the only estate agents I think I could actually recommend.

Job Well Done

From start to finish Brian Holt were extremely professional. When preparing the brochures they allowed us to make suggestions and changes. The overall quality of the brochures were of a high quality. Andrew Gibbs was the senior sales negotiator who looked after us during the whole sale process. He did a fantastic job in arranging viewings and in most cases attending in person which really helped. If I could give zero stars I would! I received the worst customer service ever from the letting staff at this office - 10 days to get a call back with a reply to a simple question, five days to call me back following my request to view a property and no reply at all to an email I sent to them via their online contact form, despite chasing up on several occasions - not sure what you actually have to do to rent a house through this agency!! I spoke to two different people and got nowhere - totally incompetent

We got there in the end

The process of selling our property through Brian Holt was a good one. We opted for the Open Day option and agreed a sale quickly within a month of going on the market. Although we had a delay which was outside of Holts control, we got there in the end. Throughout the process Andy at Holts kept regularly in touch with us and also chasing the other side which needed doing and I have no problem recommending Brian Holts.

Don't blame the agent!

Though it took a long time to make a sale that should have happened very quickly, we were victims of a string of unfortunate events all caused by 3 or 4 buyers whose decision-making was as logical as a hedgehog attempting to cross the M1 in rush hour. Though it had been very frustrating, annoying and irritating, the estate agents made the very best of the situation and got the result we were looking for in the end and were helpful and reassuring throughout and acted decisively and promptly each time a potential buyer let us down. Best agent on the street!

I was very impressed with Brian Holt's work. They were consummate professionals and very patient with me as the landlord.. They provided me with detailed info on prospective tenants prior to and after viewings, even if the viewing did not turn into an application. They did not do the hard sell either to the tenant or me the landlord and they were very thorough, even going over the tenancy agreement details. They also always answer the phone, which I consider very important both for landlords and tenants. As a landlord with a portfolio of properties elsewhere in the UK, I would rate this agent as one of the best and certainly one of the best in Coventry.

Andrew Gibbs was a credit to Brian Holt. The level service he provides when purchasing a property was second to none. I've bought 5 properties and never known such an approachable person who went out of his way to help a very complicated sale with overseas sellers. Always at the end of a phone and always lending a hand to keep the ball rolling. If all staff at Brian Holt are as good and efficient as Andy then I will definitely be recommending Brian Holt to all my friends and colleagues. Great service to us in purchasing our new home

Andrew Gibbs, and his team, provided an excellent service to us in what turned out to be, in my experience, a more complicated than usual house purchase. He provided excellent communications and updates throughout the buying process, often acting to progress the completion of the sale when there were communication breakdowns between other parties involved. As a 'customer' I felt that Andy was professionally acting on my behalf, as well as that of his fee paying client. I never thoughtI would say that about an estate agent!
