Stopped by to view show houses as website suggests - was told no one could help me and to come back tomorrow or book - even though website says to pop in anytime - wasted journey. Very unhelpful

Just been to view the new homes at Elgar Park and was greeted by the most obnoxiously rude Bloor Homes representative. As soon as we asked what Shared Ownership she had on site she clearly had no interest in us, couldn’t answer any questions we asked and clearly couldn’t wait to see the back of us. Didn’t bother hanging around as we clearly weren’t getting anywhere fast. Actually had a walk around the site and bumped into a nice chap from Bromford who are the Shared Ownership team and he was very helpful. Bloor clearly don’t care much for their SO clients.

Hollywell effectively helped us to find excellent tenants (and neighbours) for the first-time rental of the house next door. The process was swift and simple with 8 potential tenants visiting within a week of the listing, and 4 of those applying. The tenants we opted for moved in two weeks later.

Almost been in our new home for 3 years and as time has passed it’s shown us how poorly our home was built and the cheap workarounds to get it finished - from wonky walls, discoloured white doors, peeling paint and cello tape used to plaster the walls, (meaning a complete re plaster of walls), incorrectly installed toilet, broken tap… list goes on.. - we’ve had nothing but issues and Bloor have been next to useless. Our neighbours have somehow had more issues than us which makes me think this is probably a common occurrence. Definitely won’t be buying another home from Bloor.

Staff and higher management not easy to deal with. Much higher priced than comparable properties in area. So pleased I didn’t buy a Bloor property found a much better value, quality property.
