GoogleI have been looking for a home in London for months and Johnny from Black Katz was incredibly helpful and eager to find the perfect place for me! And I have been quite picky with a certain budget in mind. I have been searching with other realtors as well but they were nothing like what these guys do their job! Thank you Johnny and Black Katz for finding the best place for me!

GoogleAVOID AT ALL COST. I moved from Liverpool to London so i asked for a online video view of the house. Let's start by saying that Sandro, the agent, kindly omitted that the apartment had one huge hole and mold in the ceiling, stuff I found out only after signing the contract of course. When i moved in, I found out of a long list of things that were not working such as: leaking sinks, clogged toilet, broken cooker, broken smoke alarm, broken doorbell, very shaky bed and so on. Stuff that wasn't mentioned me before and that was meant to be fixed before moving in. Today, after two months, I'm still waiting for somebody to come and sort this out. I had to fix the toilet by myself because otherwise they'd never done it. They told me "it was a building problem and they couldn't do nothing about it" but guess what, they were wrong. I keep on writing emails to the agency but they answer once every two weeks saying the landlord doesn't want to fix these problems. But hey, it's their job to mediate between the landlord and the tenant and they're just not good at it. The person that lived here before me had the same issues if not worse. I never write any review because I'm a patient person but this time i really got mad and wanted to prevent other people from stressing so much and getting scammed again. UPDATE: After months, they've now completely stopped answering me back. Worst agency ever.

We are sorry that you have felt the need to complain. We work very hard at providing good customer service and want happy tenants. Video Viewings are a last resort, we much prefer tenants to see the property in person rather than rely on a Video. We try with a Video to show as much detail as possible. Regarding issues after the move-in I have asked our Management Department to look into as a matter of priority to progress any matters. Apologies again that you have felt the need to complain. GoogleI've dealt with a number of sales/letting agents in the Camden area during my time of renting out a flat. I can hand on heart honestly say Black Katz would be the ones I would give any repeat business to based on their professionalism and ease with making the matter stress free. It was always a pleasure speaking with Zia and his team at Black Katz, they are still in business for this very reason.

GoogleLike many people have said, terrible agency. Every problem we have takes ages to get sorted and it's insanely frustrating. Been now 4 days with a broken boiler, no heating and no hot water for 4 days, it's -5 degrees outside. I have to chase for an update and all I get is "I'm working on it". They do not comply with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 which states that a broken boiler is an emergency and it has to be fixed within 24 hours. Going to get professional advice now and see what happens. Ridiculous.

GoogleIncredibly average service, reluctance to help with maintenance issues after reporting having issues using their system. Renewal agent refused to take calls and made an error in our contract after having written agreement which resulted in us being forced out early, no explanation or apology, just avoidance of talking about the issue from their side. Also, a very high charge in regards to cleaning when moving out compared to other estate agents I have used previously. Would not recommend to others.

GoogleWorst lettings agency in London!!! Don’t use them if you’re a first time renting student. They pass the book on every problem. We have lived with our shower leaking into the kitchen for 4 months and everytime the engineer has come they do nothing. The previous tenants moved in with the same problem and they lived here for 2 years. The same problem for 2 1/2 years. Management are rude and they are unprofessional.

Freddie, We have thoroughly investigated the issue of your review and very strongly feel that your review is not fair and reasonable. 1. On the previous tenancy there was a leak, and this was resolved. 2. You reported a leak from the bathroom to the kitchen. We authorised a contractor to attend, contractor attended and prepared a report, report was subsequently authorised, contractor attended and resolved the leak. When you reported the leak you included an abusive email which is simply not necessary . We have zero tolerance where an abusive email is sent to our staff. The leak has now been fixed and we hope you can now enjoy your tenancy.

GoogleAfter dealing with many estate agencies in London I am confident to say they are very unprofessional when it comes to students. They waisted a lot of our time and I am glad we didn't end up renting with them. Please stay away if you don't want to waist your time.

Dear Maria Apologies for the late reply but I have been on annual leave. After speaking to my colleague and going through messages etc., your review is not true and is 'sour grapes' on your part. If we had made a mistake we would hold our hands up but sorry to say we have not. The situation was that my colleague had showed you a four bedroomed property a few weeks prior which did not suit your criteria and he continued to keep you updated with further properties. Another property arrived on the market which you were interested in, which was situated on Staple Street, so he booked you in for a viewing. He explained verbally and by text that as it was the first access, meaning the situation would be all prospective tenants who could make the first access time, would be able to view the property and then if they were interested they would submit their best offer and the landlord would decide which one he would proceed with subject to references. Landlords take into consideration tenants profiles, rental amount, duration of contract and requirements. We received two offers on the property and the landlord decided to choose the other tenants because their offer was higher. Tenants' profiles were considered, which you questioned numerous times and as mentioned to you, the other party were students too. It was solely down to the fact that they offered more, everything else was identical. You were not happy with the result and kept asking if the landlord had considered both your profiles. He had and my colleague told you this, but you were not happy with this outcome. After we passed the bad news to you, you questioned this a few times further and then you visited our office with your mother, your friend and her mother, and accused my colleagues of being unprofessional, which was not the case. I am truly sorry you have had reason to complain but your accusations are unsound and unfair. We had explained the process numerous times beforehand. I understand it is stressful looking for a property in one of the worst markets I have seen, but we were completely transparent and explained everything. Sandro is very responsive, helpful and proffestional. I have recommenced Black Katz to my friends & family and I would recommend them to you!

GoogleJohnny kept in touch when we asked him to update us on new properties after we went to a viewing of a flat that was unfortunately taken right when we arrived. He went out of his way to make sure we find a place we love and got us a beautiful flat in South Hampstead. Also Erika was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond in the process of signing the tenancy agreement. Great experience overall!
