Still unfinished business with them but it looks like the zero stars is the right amount they deserve.
Only cared of the money but didn't care of sorting any mould problem in the property I lived. Now they are coming up to me to give them back mouldy and broken curtains. More to say but it's too long. I agree with any other people that gave 1 star.
Absolutely rubbish!

There was mould in that house since I moved back in 2019 and before me leaving I'm told I have to pay money to get it cleaned, after I already cleaned as much as I could. Of course 2 months before leaving the house what else do you want to do if after 4 years you didn't care. What you want to show me you care at the end. Of they write something to save themselves. Who dealt with this agency knows what's the deal.

We have now fully investigated matters. The tenants reported mould in May 2023 and our Maintenance Team contacted them to arrange access. The tenants did not allow access and then informed us that no contractors were to attend as the they were moving out soon.

GoogleTerrible terrible agency that I had the misfortune of renting from.
As other reviews mention here, Rosie was the property manager for the place that we were renting as well, and was unresponsive for most times and it was so bad for us, that at one point we did not have any hot water in our bathroom for 23 days straight!
Also at the end of the tenancy we got the deposit back after 5 weeks.

Our records show that on 1/5/21 you reported low pressure and it was decided that a new boiler would be required. Due to the high cost of a new boiler your landlord understandably required two quotes which were obtained on the 12/5/21 and on the 14/5/21 one quote was approved and the contractor confirmed they could order and install the new boiler on the 20/5/21. Regrettably, it was not a minor issue that could easily and quickly be resolved but required a new boiler which is not something that can quickly be achieved.
Regarding the deposit return there was a negotiated settlement between all parties and you received your deposit in full.
We are sorry you feel matters were not to your satisfaction but please understand this did involve a complete new boiler replacement and you have received your deposit in full.

GoogleI had a very bad experience with Black Katz Camden in October 2025, about a month before we moved out of the property in Sutherland Ave.
Definitely an agency operated in 🚩🚩🚩
One morning, we accidentally locked ourselves out, leaving our keys inside. With no other option, we contacted Black Katz for assistance. A male staff member answered and informed us that they did not have a spare key and advised us to contact Villachase Management, their property management partner. This was already concerning, as a landlord or agent should reasonably have a spare key available for emergency situations.
We then contacted Villachase Management, who were responsive and willing to help, despite their office being around 45 minutes away. When the Villachase representative arrived, the spare key unfortunately did not work. He then contacted Black Katz to explain the situation and speak to the same staff member.
The response from Black Katz was shocking and deeply disappointing. The staff member stated that there was nothing they could do, told us to find a solution ourselves, and dismissively remarked that we were moving out the following month anyway. This lack of care and responsibility stunned both us and the Villachase representative, who was clearly taken aback by the response.
Fortunately, workers fixing a neighbouring flat helped us remove the window grills so we could safely enter the property and unlock the door from inside. Without their help, we would have been left stranded.
The comments and attitude from Black Katz were heartless, humiliating, and entirely unprofessional, especially considering that my wife was pregnant at the time, which made the situation extremely stressful. Basic empathy and problem-solving were completely absent.
In contrast, Villachase Management showed professionalism, patience, and genuine concern, staying with us and continuing to assist until we were safely inside.
Based on this experience, I strongly urge current and future customers to reconsider using Black Katz. The lack of accountability, support, and human consideration we encountered was unacceptable.

GoogleStay aware and be very careful with Black Katz Camden.
My experience with this office was extremely disappointing. The manager was unprofessional and the entire process was disorganised. They kept me going back and forth for two weeks with no progress.
They don’t seem to have a proper system for checking references, yet they still push you to pay a deposit in advance a deposit you could easily end up losing because of their chaotic process.
Overall, they wasted my time and created unnecessary stress. I would not recommend using this agency.
