Stay aware and be very careful with Black Katz Camden. My experience with this office was extremely disappointing. The manager was unprofessional and the entire process was disorganised. They kept me going back and forth for two weeks with no progress. They don’t seem to have a proper system for checking references, yet they still push you to pay a deposit in advance a deposit you could easily end up losing because of their chaotic process. Overall, they wasted my time and created unnecessary stress. I would not recommend using this agency.

AVOID at all costs 🚩🚩🚩Used them last year and blatantly lied about a property and failed to mention huge issues with the landlord, rodent issues that they were just informed about, huge structural issues with the property and will avoid doing anything to help at all. They are a very very sleazy business letting out some horrific properties for horrible landlords.

Johnny from Black Katz Lettings did a great job of keeping us informed of the progress of our application. In the space of just a few hours of contacting Johnny, he had arranged and taken us through a viewing and even helped us with placing an offer. Even though the offer wasn't successful, Johnny continued to send us with tailor made options and seek our feedback. If I could not give any stars to the admin of this company I would. It’s been 37 days since we moved out and we haven’t yet received our deposit. We were never send pictures re our deductions until we asked for them and they general way of treating us Re our money has been horrible. Making us feel anxious and lost in the process. Avoid this agency like the plague. On another note crouch end brand were amazing. Especially Johnny.

In the last 2 weeks I have received one of the best customer services from an estate agent. Jordan Fahy did not waste his time and straightaway gave me an array of properties to choose from. He was fully able to understand what my requirements are. Jordan constantly kept me informed about any new properties on the market. Even outside the working hours Jordan was able to meet me for viewings. It was the most pleasant experience of looking for a new home. My friend and I who are studying at Universities in London were searching for a place to rent for the first time. We were searching around the Camden area when we came across Black Katz. A consultant named Caley was put in charge of finding us a reasonably priced place and he was successful in doing so. Even after the tenancy ended and we were looking for a place for the following academic year, he was of great help again, although we didn't rent a property from Black Katz that time. Black Katz as an agent we found to be very professional and transparent, no stealth fees or charges and our deposit all came back. We would definitely use again if we were searching for a place to rent.

I've had an excellent experience with the team at Black Katz in Camden. Gary was in regular communication to share potential flats and refine my requirements, providing candid overviews of properties as they came up, building a lot of trust with me. When we found a great flat he was extremely swift to get things locked down and moving forward. Lauren has been brilliant, liaising back and forth to collate all the information required in a very tight time frame. My girlfriend and I had great trouble with our Landlord and needed a lot of things sorting in our property and with our landlord living so far away it was difficult to keep a constant flow on communication. After a while it was decided that Dara Madden from Blackatz would take over management of the property. Finally our problems were sorted and we finally started to be a bit happier in the property without any worries and didn't feel like we were constantly complaining as Dara made everything run so smoothly and listened to us. We've initially dealt with Raj, who was extremely helpful and let us view the apartment twice before we decided that we did indeed want the flat (he found it for us after telling him what we were looking for, and it was spot-on the first time). After that we switched to dealing with Lauren who did the paperwork side of things. She always responded quick and with all the information we needed, even though I was probably a little annoying due to having so many questions. Dealing with Black Katz has been an absolute pleasure and we couldn't be happier.

Worst lettings agency in London!!! Don’t use them if you’re a first time renting student. They pass the book on every problem. We have lived with our shower leaking into the kitchen for 4 months and everytime the engineer has come they do nothing. The previous tenants moved in with the same problem and they lived here for 2 years. The same problem for 2 1/2 years. Management are rude and they are unprofessional.
