GoogleHad an awesome experience dealing with these guys, Caley was an absolute legend in helping me to find the right flat. Even though I ended up renting an apartment via another agency, I'd definitely recommend Black Katz and would go back to them again (hopefully not too soon!).

GoogleThe worst agency that I have had so far in London, during the time that I have been in rent with them they have not bothered anything about the problems that I sent them that I had with the house, once the contract was finished, they have taken 3 months to give me the deposit, in which they have removed bugs from the house which I had informed them while I was in the house and they did not fix themNegativeProfessionalism

GooglePosting on behalf of my Friend, who rented through Black Katz. Terrible experience from start to finish, with numerous issues being left by Rosie, such as a hole in a ceiling, a living room door being left on its hinges and a kitchen light that trips whenever its turned on. Rosie also did not issues the relevant documents to my friend before the start of the tenancy and then claimed Rosie would never answer emails/phone calls and it took myself speaking to Cal and Dara, department head and finance manager, to get an answer back from Rosie on my friends deposit.

GoogleUsed Black Katz on Parkway twice. First time found my flat with them in 24 hours and had the whole process done in less than a week. As an international tenant, they showed patience and understanding throughout the whole process, as the process for international tenants can take a bit more time. They were professional and helpful by keeping us continuously informed and offering all the flexibility we required. The second time I used the agency I found them to be as professional and helpful as the year before. My main point of contact was Caley, who demonstrated professionalism and a genuine interest in helping offering sincere advice throughout the house search, a rare and appreciated trait in real estate. Highly recommend them

GoogleBlack Katz were extremely disappointing. They have told us it is not their job to help us. We had problems with the flat moving in when the flat wasn't clean and while requesting a reference now we've left and they have offered no assistance. We have repeatedly asked for help when dealing with our landlord and they have consistently told us they won't help because it is apparently not their responsibility. Considering the high realtor fees of over £160 per person, you'd expect better service. Or any service. Beyond forwarding contracts they have done nothing to help us all year and while we continue to have issues now they are still saying they won't help. Would not recommend.

GoogleWe got a really nice flat through Black Katz. There have been a few problems with faulty electrics, radiators, boilers etc. The issues have mostly been fixed within a couple of days. On a couple of occasions it took a few weeks to get sorted but have all eventually been repaired to our satisfaction. Dara the current property manager is very friendly, efficient, and responsive. They also negotiated with the Landlord on our behalf to reduce a proposed rent increase.

As an owner-managed business, Zia takes pride in his reputation and does a thorough job of vetting the tenant applicants and providing a high quality service and sensible advice. GoogleBlack Katz have been extremely unhelpful and disorganised over the course of our letting with them. Originally, organising viewings and admin for us to get the house through them was incredibly difficult and having decided not to renew our contract, we have been forced to host viewings at 2 hours notice and have sat waiting for 45 minutes for what turned out to be a cancelled viewing. Regret using their service and won’t go through them again.

GoogleI wanted to vacate my flat before the end of my contract for personal reasons and the manager was really helpful and understood the situation. He tried to help me finding a solution that could suit both me and the landlord. Even if things didn't work out as expected (because the people who showed interest disappeared) he tried his best to help me and I really appreciated it.

GoogleIf you are unfortunate enough to be using Black Katz, be prepared for endless frustration. Not sure whether it's due to stupidity or utter incompetence, most likely a seemingly synergistic combination. Having dealt with them for a year, can assure you that you may be left thinking they never finished a nursery-level education. Save yourself an aneurysm and find another estate agent, or at least utilise their somewhat more competent management team.
