GoogleArranged first viewing and agent didn't bring keys. Arranged second viewing and agent didn't bring correct keys so still couldn't access property to view. Very poor.

GoogleAvoid this agency at all costs. We have recently moved into an Alex Neil's property. They let the house in a terrible condition. We were unable to move in at the agreed date because of lack of cleanliness and many other issues. The biggest problem is that they've refused to resolve the issues and have been consistently been unresponsive and extremely rude. There is not one good thing to say about this agency and its staff. We have been living in the property for 1 month now, and none of the problems have been addressed. Be careful, and if you decide to go with them make sure you discuss everything in writing and keep evidence of everything because they will try to make a fool of you. If needed, seek help through formal complaint systems and the property ombudsman service.

GoogleI can't really say anything good about this company. It all started when I put a rent offer on a flat. As I am self employed, one of the documents they requested was a letter from my accountants OR bank statements of my business account. I provided the later as it was free of charge, however, they insisted they needed the letter, even though I told them i my accountant wouldn't provide the letter for free and it would take up to 10 days for the letter to be produced. I paid £80 to my accountants, but the letter wasn't ready the day before of the beginning of tenancy. Magically, my application was approved without the letter, which means I wasted £80 pounds. We then collected the keys when we figured out none of the repairs AGREED AS ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA have been met. It's been FOUR MONTHS since we moved in and the repairs haven't been done. My baby roasted during all summer in a small bedroom which the window is jammed - he also had breathing issues because of mold all over the place. We have now chill season coming upon us and the heating unit is detached of the wall since the day we visited the flat. After constant chasing to the property management team, I emailed the head office but they simply ignored my email. All I can say is: AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOUR WELL BEING.

How can I explain my experience is ALEXNEIL … painful perhaps? Was supposed to be a fun and exciting experience for me and my boyfriend however it was disappointing and heartbreaking and ALEXNEIL did nothing to help. We went for a viewing for a FULLY FURNISHED flat … when we moved in we got a ‘PART FURNISHED’ which was the sofa and dining table only. Imagine our shock and surprise. The agency had no idea when I called them, finally the landlady ordered us a bed that was £40 from amazon with a mattress that was WAY to small. We battled back and forth and the landlady only agreed to buy a dining table and tv stand as essentials to the flat. We pay a lot a month for this flat (being new Canary Wharf) and had another -£960 in buying furniture for our so called ‘FULLY FURNISHED FLAT. We paid stupid amount of a deposit, speaking with ALEXNEIL we was told ‘what more do we want’. They are unprofessional and unable to communicate. To this day (we moved in a few months ago) we are having trouble communicated with ALEXNEIL, they moved us in the a damp, mouldy not so perfect flat and I think I’m in the right to share this with you all. If you choose to go with this company please please do it with your eyes wide open, they’re scammers, they won’t communicate with you after they rob your money. This review was a long time coming.

I’m giving them 3* just because Dimarli was very nice guy, but as soon as heard about £300 per person agency fees I was not interested in dealing with this agency at all. What for? You can do reference check via homelet for £20!

GooglePretty terrible, sale fell through and only found out by chance 2 weeks later from the mortgage company. When I phoned back to ask why I hadn't been informed i was told it must be in my junk email, but no such email arrived. The was no apology or so much as acknowledgement of what had happened.

GoogleThe estate agents were helpful and prompt throughout the lettings process, and understanding when we needed a flat viewing to be delayed and rescheduled as I was unwell. They liaised with the landlord and arranged for handymen to be sent to fix things as required. All in all one of the better estate agents I have experienced in London.

What made the difference is the commitment of the team and the quality of customer service. In terms of fees, I think most agencies share similar fee structure but still Alex Neil had the best fee structure.

GoogleJack was absolutely amazing in finding us a property. I am so delighted to have phoned Alex Neil when I did. We struggled for 2 or 3 weeks with various estate agents. We visited properties that was nothing like what was in our search criteria. We explained to jack we needed a 2 bedroom property with a separate kitchen, a garden and wooden flooring. Everything was perfect with the property that jack found. Well done jack and well done Alex Neil.

Alex neil is hands down way the worst estate agent in london. They continuously ignore emails, necessary repairs and won’t hesitate to lie over the phone.All reviews here are either 5’s or 1’s, which makes me very suspicious about the 5’s. generally a barbelled review pattern is a good indicator of fake reviews
