Michael and the team at this Alex Neil are simply put, fantastic. They have worked extremely hard to get our house marketed, viewed, sale agreed and pushed the sale through when it genuinely looked hopeless! They have been honest and open, given good advice and have been a real pleasure to deal with. If we are ever buying or selling in their area again, 5/5 stars we would use again!

My first time dealing with Alex Neil and I was APPALLED by my experience working with Maciej Skalski. Had a viewing booked for 10.30am on Sat 18/02 and I emailed 10.15am to inform Maciej I was on my way. I then had a few missed calls after which I called back and was connected to Georgia Nailard. Georgia told me the seller had accepted an offer so the viewing was no longer on. In addition, she said Maciej mentioned I had in previous instances not turned up for viewings anyway, and that he had been trying to call me the day before to let me know the viewing was off. What accusations these were! First of all, I had NEVER cancelled or not turned up for any viewings arranged. In fact it was Maciej / the vendor who had to rearrange viewings multiple times due to the vendor being on holiday or changing the viewing time last minute. Secondly, I had received NO missed calls OR texts OR emails from Maciej to call off the viewing. Clearly Maciej did not make any effort to inform me in advance. We had been exchanging emails but he did not even see fit to send me an email about the cancellation. It was lucky that I live 20 minutes away, can you imagine if I had travelled far from elsewhere in London, how I would have felt? I was fuming when I heard everything on the call and this really reflects on the lack of professionalism of agents at Alex Neil. I had emailed and attached all screenshots to Maciej and Georgia already. I do not intend to do any searches through you guys anymore and hope other people steer clear as well. Save yourself the trouble.

Awful agent who makes accusations about you to cover up their unprofessionalism

No matter how you try to reach them, it's futile. Never responded in spite of calling like hundreds of time, and leaving messages and emails to them. Why would you give a number if you can't respond at all?

Bad experience

I had a bad experience with one of their agents, Scott Little. Despite offering more rent than advertised, which was accepted by the landlord, the agent refused my proposal to exchange the old beds for new ones and leave the new ones instead at the end of the tenancy. I just wanted to improve the flat's poor condition with my own money, as the photos in the ad didn't match the current state of the flat and even the building was incorrect. I was looking for a solution that could work for him and me I asked for a moment to find storage for the old beds. Then the agent became rude and unprofessional, shouting I was wasting his time and I should ask for nothing and ultimately withdrawing the offer.
