GoogleJust to add super unhelpful. The rental management that we used after was awful. We eventually exchanged numbers with tenants because the intermediary person just “passed the note on” and did absolutely nothing. Let me give you some examples: - We had to spend hours explain to the tenants how to establish water, utility payment etc. Alex Neil was paid to do this but shirked off responsibility to us. - We found the engineer and agreed to pay for the wash machine repair and just asked the Alex Neil person to book the appointment. We were told to do it ourselves and talk to the tenants to book it. So what are we paying for again? - The list goes on for the last whole year with building heating checks, pipe leak checks, mending work …etc - Then we were NOT informed that Alex Neil will terminate rental business at all. We had to ask and find out so we have to last min find Dexter to take over. Lucky Dexter was very quick, otherwise we would have lost weeks of rental income.

GoogleCame in today to speak with someone regarding purchasing a property. Was met with a rude dismissive lady. Despite us showing interest in the current market, she did not show us any properties, discuss budgets or provide any helpful information. Seemed very eager for us to leave without our business. Do not recommend using these agents their attitude is appalling.

GoogleMade all the right noises but ultimately didn't deliver. I gave them my property to sell. In 8 weeks received no proactive feedback. No updates on viewing or, feedback. Didn't even respond to messages in a timely manner. Stay clear.

GoogleAlex Neil were very helpful throughout our purchase. Gary was always available to grant us access to the property with a cheerful and friendly attitude. The office team was prompt in taking our calls and went the extra mile whenever anything needed chasing.

GoogleIhave been a tenant with Alex Neil Estate Agents for over five years. While I have generally found your services helpful, I am increasingly disappointed with the lack of timely response and action regarding reported maintenance issues recently . Although damages are acknowledged when reported, there appears to be little to no follow-through in arranging necessary repairs. This ongoing lack of resolution is both frustrating and concerning.

We are sorry you have felt the need to add this review. All maintenance matters are reported to our landlords within 3 hours. Sadly they do not always respond promptly or give instructions to proceed with works. Please contact you property manager should you have any outstanding matters and we will do our best to resolve promptly for you.

GoogleAlex Neil were great in preparing the sale details and finding a buyer. However, it took the buyers an age to exchange/ complete and AN did not appear to be particularly engaged in moving the sale process forward. I expected them to be more on top of buyer or to manage both parties expectations more actively.

GoogleAwful experience with Alex Neil. Repeated failures in communication, professionalism, and due diligence ultimately caused the sale of my flat to fall through just weeks before exchange. Very disappointed with the service and would not recommend.

GoogleWe had been warned about how long and difficult buy a property could be, and ours certainly had many, many challenges. Rebecca was our saving grace! She brought warmth, professionalism, and genuine friendliness to an otherwise cold and stressful experience.
