My old courteous landlord started the process of selling her house.
Alex Neil tried their best to miscommunicate and not reply to any emails on all 3 sides of the marketplace -- the tenant living in the flat being sold, the new buyer and the old landlord -- left all of them confused.
I had to speak to them individually to understand what was happening etc
Very poor service as reviewed by both the landlords as well.

- Typical corporate response, pointing the blame on someone else but them. That was not the case as it was a fully managed property as the landlord was residing abroad, also the agents could have responded to emails, but this was not the case.

After a 3 years tenancy, go with Alexneil if you want an agency that:
- Courteous and responsive sales team until you pay the deposit then you are transferred to the property maintenance team which is a different conversation.
- Check-in reports that turns a blind eye on existing condition, favoring landlord.
- If you want a gruesome check-out process, 4-weeks of unresponsive emails, then they responded by claiming the entire deposit with all sorts of false claims. After going back and fro went through DPS adjudication process and Alexneil got less than 20% of claimed damage amount.
You have been warned.

Alex Neil relays information from both parties for the DPS to settle the deposit amounts impartially. Therefore, we have no control over the deposit amount the DPS decides is returned to a tenant, nor do we benefit financially in any way.

GoogleTried to sell my apartment through Alex Neil and I would not recommend. They're all about volume, getting as many people as possible to view your property but it's always a different agent who knows nothing about the property. Some of the buyers don't seem to know anything about the property either, feels like a waste of everyone's time. Their comms is pretty bad too, only responded quick when we first reached out to them but afterwards that declined, we wouldn't get updates, had to chase after every viewing, you tell one person something and that information is never ever passed onto other agents.
They couldn't sell our apartment for 6 months, we stopped advertising with them and sold within 2 months via a different estate agency.

We bought a property through them and it was one of the worst experiences we've had.
The estate agent didn't know anything about the property when we initially visited, hid information from us, mislead us throughout the whole process and offered no support whatsoever.
All the care about is the money and they'll hide information from you in order to make as much as possible.
The estate agent would not show up for appointments and their manager was rude and unprofessional. I tried getting in touch with their head office, but the area manager is equally rude and incompetent.
When dealing with the office manager (Matteo) he was pushy and unprofessional.
They really ruined what should had been an exciting process for us, will never use them and I highly advise against doing so.

We had previously listed with another agent who had multiple viewings, but we never got an offer. Within less than 2 weeks of the property being listed with Alex Neil, we had accepted an offer. Unfortunately that fell through, but we quickly got another offer. Alex Neil did a great job with the marketing and viewings.
It was not a straightforward sale, but Maciej and Georgia did everything they could to get it over the line. We are so grateful it all worked out in the end!
