GoogleI dealt with Andrew Grant during a house purchase; I found the team to be very supportive and friendly. Particularly during a very stressful simultaneous/exchange - the team tried everything in their power to mitigate our worries and ensure we completed on time. Louise and Karen dealt with me as customer liaisons. The only thing I found unusual was the deposit you must pay in order to secure your offer. I haven't found many estate agents who would do this. However, you do get this deposit back upon completion.

GoogleInitial handling was very good. However when complications arose, the standard of contact diminished. On completion day, we were informed we would be met at the new address with the keys being delivered by andrew grant in person. However, we completed at 3.15 and had to wait until 4.30 for the key to be dropped off by an employee of andrew grant as he was out with his grandchildren in bridgenorth for the afternoon. Totally unprofessional and not a satisfactory conclusion to a very stressful day!
We are pleased that you were happy with our initial handling of the purchase process but naturally sorry and concerned that you were ultimately unhappy at the conclusion. As we tried to explain to you during your call to us prior to lodging this review, we have no control over the precise timing of when a completion will take place. This is in the hands of the vendor’s lawyers, the buyer’s lawyers and the buyer’s lender (where there is one). In the event, you will recall that there were a number of issues that confronted the lawyers and that the exchange date was also delayed by your last minute request for a plumbing inspection of the property before agreeing to finalise. This was carried out at the vendors expense and a dripping tap was fixed along with a couple of other minor issues. Consequently, the completion date was even more uncertain than usual and when it did go through our key holder was on a half day off with his family. Nevertheless, he interrupted this time off and drove forty-five minutes at very short notice to deliver your key. We are sorry you consider this unprofessional and we really hesitate to be defensive, however we are not sure that we could have done more under the circumstances.

GoogleWe recently used the Andrew Grant for marketing our property for Lettings. They were really good at getting initial interest in our property on both occasions. The whole process was smooth and Andrew Grant managed all of the viewings from start to finish and providing us with feedback from all viewings and details of interested parties so that we could review. We do feel that they could improve in making sure the interested parties are aware of the property capability/suiting to ensure that the property would suit their needs. Vetting financially was amazing and pretty quick once we had chosen the new tenant.

Your comment regarding checking the suitability of a property prior to any viewings was very helpful. Wills knowledge on the potential changing renting legislation is particularly impressive whilst Sharon takes great pride in dealing with urgent matters such as repairs in a very timely manner. Chloe has such an incredible commitment to managing my property and solving any problem that arises, working extremely hard on my behalf. Whatever issue has arisen regarding the management of my property, Chloe has immediately informed me and implemented the strategies to solve it, for which I am so very grateful. Chloe always sounds very positive and is extremely conscientious. Most important to me, Chloe always keeps me informed about everything that is going on regarding the apartment, without me having to keep ringing the office. One really endearing quality about Chloe is that she is so modest about her achievements, responding to praise with comments such as: 'as a fully managed landlord you are paying the company for me to manage the property in full and I can only hope you are pleased with my service and efforts'. I am certain it is not just me who benefits from Chloe's conscientious efforts and kindness, but that all of her clients receive just the same commitment and we are all very fortunate to have her looking after our affairs.
