GoogleKathryn (Lettings Negotiator) has been excellent throughout the process. Professional, helpful, clear and very prompt to respond. She made an effort to take early account of our needs and then made every effort to accommodate them. We’re very happy with the service we’ve received from Charters and would highly recommend them. For comparison, I had also contacted another high profile lettings company at the same time, but they have been far slower to follow-up and have had far fewer properties to show us.

Challenging market conditions and early stages of generating interest & getting viewings arranged was ok, but not brilliant. Communication over the longer than hoped for period on sale could have been much better, however, after an offer had been formalised (well below guide price suggested) follow up process and communications were excellent and very responsive.

GoogleI had heard good things about Charters and had been considering advertising my house for sale with them but frankly my recent experience was terrible. I had enquired about a shop to let in Romsey which appeared to be a Charters office? I called and spoke to someone called John in the commercial department who seemed completely disinterested. Clearly it was below him having to deal with my enquiry. When I requested a brochure he muttered something under his breath. I never did receive the brochure. I really thought more of Charters and considered them a go to agent in the area. I won't be using them in the future. Very disappointing!

GoogleThe experience I have had renting with this agency has been really disappointing. From being told by my property manager that we should put up with a camera on our front door as "CCTV is everywhere" and just generally our concerns being completely ignored. Renting your first flat should be a really exciting time, but I feel completely let down by Charters Winchester.
We are very sorry that you were disappointed by your first experience of renting. Unfortunately the door bell camera belonged to your neighbours property and so our options to deal with it were very limited and I can see that multiple calls were made to try and resolve it on your behalf. We do hope that you are now happy in your new home.
