From start to finish in selling our house in St James Road, Upper Shirley we had an excellent service from Charters Estate Agents in Southampton. They have a great office in London Road and everyone is easy to contact - they always answer their phones quickly.When Phil Northover first came to do the valuation he was very friendly, professional and very well prepared with marketing information for his area. He also made sure the brochure and documentation were completed efficiently.Gemma Hill skillfully guided the sale right through to completion. She also made very regular contact with us to give updates on how the sale was going, answered our questions and always acted in a friendly and professional manner.We cannot fault the service we received.

The lettings team (Sarah and Gary specifically) did a brilliant job renting our home out for us in a challenging market. They were great at keeping us informed especially when we were chasing hard and under time pressure. They turned around our tenancy in lightning fast speed and the back office team Cheryl and her colleagues did a fantastic job managing this.

Me and my partner were looking for a property quite urgently as we needed to vacate the one we were living before by the end of February. Harrison has made the process extremely smooth and quick for us. He took it upon himself to update us on any new properties and to secure us a place! He has made such stressful time much better for both me and my partner! At the viewing, I met a lovely blond lady (whose name I don’t remember unfortunately) who was amazing at explaining the whole process for us! Thank you, Charters!

Nathan from the Bishops Waltham office has been working very hard to find a property for me despite my long list of red lines. He has been unfailingly patient and tenacious in his efforts to find the right home for me to downsize to, despite his awareness of my uncertainty about the proposed move. It would have been easy for him to dismiss me as a time-waster but he has never stopped trying. I also felt very comfortable with Darcy who came to appraise my property and explained everything in comprehensive detail without ever being remotely insistent or pushy. If I do decide to sell up and move, I will have no hesitation in using Charters and would recommend them without reservation.

As a disappointed landlord receiving back my property in a pretty awful state, my life has been made so much easier due to the fantastic response from Charters property management division, in particular a certain lady called Rebecca, nothing is to much trouble for her, she has been absolutely amazing in organising all the tradesmen I require to bring my property back up to a high standard so that I can relaunch it back on to the market.
