Outstanding support from Cameron Broome and Stephen Henry

We have just exchanged contracts on our house move where we bought a property advertised for sale by Charters and were impressed throughout with the service we received as buyers.Cameron showed us a series of properties and took the time to really understand what we were looking for. We missed out on the first property we made an offer on but he showed great determination to find an alternative that would meet our needs and made a detailed pitch to get us to look at a property we had overlooked before. His insight on what we could achieve with this property played a key role in us ultimately making an offer which was accepted.Once we had agreed a purchase we were handed over to Stephen Henry in sales progression. Stephen was highly communicative and demonstrated an urgency to get the transaction complete, which was rare elsewhere in our chain.Thanks to both and all the team at Charters.

Excellent all round… from start to completion

Very impressed by all aspects of their service, from the initial meeting (to sell) and thereafter. They were always professional, responsive to changes as the sale moved through its paces, and we always felt as though we were in good hands. Despite the inevitable wrinkles in a house sale, Charters were always on top of the situation and protected our interests whilst enabling the sale. Sarah Bainbridge was fantastic

Sarah Bainbridge was fantastic. As we were relocating from South Africa we started looking online. We made contact with Sarah and from the beginning was friendly and helpful. As we did not know the property rental market she guided us in the right direction. She understood what we needed. When we arrived in the UK she already had a few properties lined up and in no time we found a rental. A great experience :)

I had looked at many houses and dealt with many agents in my quest to find the right house. From the moment I enquired about one of Charters properties, Sarah was not only extremely efficient, professional and communicative but also really friendly and approachable and that’s important. She didn’t rush me through my viewing, was keen to make sure I’d asked all my questions, had all the information and didn’t try at all to pressurise me to make a decision. Nothing was too much trouble, videos were sent over quickly, I was kept informed and when Sarah wasn’t available, Gary was also great which shows they’re a good team. Charters have been a pleasure so I’d really recommend them :)

Selling a house as an executor of a will

Charters were employed to sell my late mother’s house. They were professional in their initial dealings and the quality of the brochure was first class.Once a buyer was found I was moved to a team within Charters who helped manage the final process, and it was here I was dealt with by a lady called Lisa Roberts who managed the process professionally and competently. I experienced some issues with both sets of solicitors but Lisa went beyond the expected to resolve these problems and finally get the sale completed.It was this service of keeping me informed, cheerful and always phoning back when she said she would that impressed me most.

End of Tenancy Manager is Saving Grace

We had a somewhat tumultuous last tenancy, mostly down to our landlord, and were so very glad to be able to draw it to a close.However, not wholly unexpectedly, the landlord became challenging during the end of tenancy process.Madelein, Charters' End of Tenancy Manager, was on hand to provide sage advice, guidance and a great deal of empathy; all things that are often lacking, when you are a tenant.Madelein was able to support negotiating a mutually acceptable set of liabilities, and arrange a refund of our deposit.We were so grateful for Madelein, and being able to put a positive end to something that had been much less so, up to this point.

Was greeted by office manager who was very polite. I requested certain paperwork and this was done straight away, no fuss.Toby is a very welcoming person, offered me a drink, and coffee while I waited for a lift to the viewing. Search for a rental property

I visited Charter's office on Avenue (Southampton) as a landlord to find a tenant for my house. Fortunately, Rosie Mott was available to assist me. She was very professional and explained the services offered by Charters. The next day, Rosie visited the property and provided a fair rental value that met my expectations. Then, on May 1st, she organized the viewing and called me to let me know a tenant was ready to rent the house. I am very grateful for the service she has provided.
