Having had negative experiences with estate agents and the rental market and being first time buyers, I was extremely nervous about our first viewing. I couldn't have been more wrong though! Sarah (from the Southampton branch) instantly made myself and my partner feel at ease upon arrival with her warm and enthusiastic nature. We viewed two properties with her and whilst they weren't what we were looking for we appreciated her taking the time to talk openly with us and gauge more of an idea of what we are looking for. We hope to view more properties with Sarah (and Charters) soon.

Nony will do everything she can to find you your perfect property. From working all hours, every day of the week it seems (emails picked up and sent on weekends and in the early hours), she is always a delight to chat to (cheerful and energetic), and a pleasure to work with (proactive and professional). I felt in touch with the market and what was happening with the sale of the house with Nony. She made effort to call and check how we were feeling with what was happening with the sale of our house and what we our requirements were with the house purchase. It felt personal and I would not hesitate to call Nony again and sell or buy through her.

Once again Sarah Bainbridge , along with Georgina Mistry on the contract side, have smashed it ! Sarah combines an excellent knowledge of her brief , great negotiating skills and subtle but effective marketing skills by finding solutions to the most problematic of renting challenges. Georgina on the other hand was responsive, knowledgeable and confident about the parameters for changes or amends to the contract . A great team at Charters !

My partner and I have experienced a rollercoaster of a year; being forced to sell our beloved home owing the skyrocketing interest rates and then facing the tortuous task of finding another house. After several disappointments (including one failed sale and three failed purchases), we located a beautiful home, marketed by Charters. From the moment we contacted them (Bishops Waltham branch) to request a viewing to the point we exchanged contracts (this week!), the staff at Charters have been nothing but professional, understanding and compassionate. They appreciated the stresses we were under and bent over backwards to expedite the process. Really grateful for everything they’ve done for us. Their input has really made it that much more bearable. Thank you Charters.

I had an issue with my boiler today and had no hot water or heating. I emailed Charters and Niamh Clouston called me back straight away to advise she would have some one out to me hopefully today. She was very friendly and helpful and sorted my problem very promptly. (As the contractor was with me by 3pm today). Thank you 😊

I needed quite a specific rental property, and Ash at Charters was professional and proactive in helping me secure the right place, particularly asking the landlord if he'd accept a pet. Ash guided me through all the steps I needed to follow and was friendly and communicative throughout. I have deducted one star because Charters uses Vouch to check tenant credentials and this system let me down, unable to handle my self-employed and savings status in a real "computer says no" scenario. This is unrelated to Ash's excellent service.

GoogleWe have recently sold a piece of land with Charters and after meeting many potential buyers introduced by Brett Coleman and his team, we chose a small developer whom we feel comfortable with and who could complete the sale promptly. We found Charters very professional, providing us an excellent service. We would certainly use their services again and would not hesitate to highly recommend them.
