Engaging, Inspiring and Passionate. Adel was a pleasure to meet.

After having my work moved to Hursley I was interested in looking for a property to rent. Within less than 1 hour of myself submitting a viewing request to a Charters property I received a call from Adel who not only quickly arranged my viewing for a time that suited me, but was also very knowledgeable on other properties in the local areas that could interest me. Upon meeting, it was immediately obvious that Adel was as excited as myself, keen to discuss details about the property and open to any queries or concerns I had. Highly professional and the best agent we have dealt with

Having finally become able to buy our first home we began searching in July 2017 and thankfully we contacted Victoria who has been fantastic from start to finish. Having dealt with other agents, from other companies, we can confirm that Victoria has far exceeded anyone else we have dealt with, in terms of her professionalism, dedication and knowledge of the market. Victoria's most reassuring quality is that she really listened to what we wanted and tailored her services to fulfil our criteria. To prove this we recently had an offer accepted on a property that wasn't even listed on the internet, it came onto the market and she contacted us immediately. This further demonstrated that with Victoria you are not just commission, or a sales target you are actually a valued customer and throughout the whole process she has gone above and beyond, time after time to try and secure us our first home. We cannot recommend Victoria enough, she is a lovely individual who (after dealing with other agents) is definitely a dying breed of estate agents. She is incredibly passionate about her job and takes huge pride in finding people their dream home. So much so I believe she is more excited to have found us a home than we are.

Victoria is lovely, she is very friendly and we have established a great rapport with her through the house buying process. Victoria has been really proactive in helping us find a property, contacting us as properties that fit our criteria were about to come onto the market to arrange viewings. Professional Estate Agents

We met a Charters Estate Agent by chance. Looking at a property for sale from the road, my wife and I noticed some people talking outside the house.We didn't wish to interrupt, but the Estate Agent beckoned us over as his clients were just leaving.We explained why we were there and after a short conversation the Estate Agent offered us a brief viewing, which was very helpful, saving us making an appointment for another time. On entering the property the Estate Agent asked us to remove our shoes as this had been requested by the vendor. We happily obliged as he was being respectful of the vendors wishes.During the subsequent viewing, the Estate Agents professionalism and detailed knowledge of the property gave us confidence that he was doing his best for his clients.If the situation arises we would be very happy for this Estate Agent to handle the sale of our property. Adel was lovely from the word go. Our first telephone calll we got on like a house on fire! She was consistently cheerful and upbeat and listened well whilst I explained our situation and she came up with the perfect home for us. Adel was highly supportive, efficient and a joy to know.

My flat was marketed at a difficult period in the market and Adel's optimism and infectious enthusiasm kept my spirits up during my rental void. She always gave me an in depth description of potential tenants which was a great help to me as I live in the flat below the flat that I let out. She was always punctual, polite, professional and engaged extremely well with potential tenants. I was informed of all viewing arrangements and was given feedback in a timely fashion. I cannot fault Adel and now that I have succeeded in finding a good tenant, I shall miss Adel's cheerful voice on the phone! Charters has done a great job and they have a good team of people.

Nothing demonstrates the abilities of Charters, and Nony in particular, than to highlight that our house was sold in just one week. Throughout the process, Nony was in daily contact, guiding us through the decisions which had to be made and offering advice where she was able. Tom has lead the way in our property search

Tom has been up there as one of the best and most tenacious Estate Agents we have had the pleasure to work with. As a family we are very picky about choosing the right house, but Tom has always introduced the right properties and quickly adapted to our situational changes. When we first met Tom one evening at a property viewing he said Charters would sell our house, they did, also that they would find the right house for us and they did that as well. Unfortunately, extremely difficult to buy a house through Charters from recent experience... I've never had to work so hard to try and spend the thick end of a million pounds before. What a shame. I have a property I need to sell going to market imminently, and based on my experience, I shall be using someone else for this. I wouldn't usually write an online review, but when I offered my feedback directly to them, I was addressed with a somewhat condescending tone and told "this has always been our policy". Somewhat like the (attenpted) purchasing experience with a Rolex AD, it seems like you need to be "lucky enough to pass criteria" to be considered as a potential customer... As they apparently aren't willing to receive constructive feedback & adapt to learn and better accommodate the needs of customers, I felt duty-bound to inform others who may want to avoid frustration when trying to find a house to buy/reach a wider audience when selling a property.

Sheer hard work separates Charters from the competition

As property developers we work with many different agents around the South to sell houses for us. At the £1m plus mark we have worked with the big 5 national/international agents regularly, but have rarely come across a more dedicated team than those at Charters and in particular Nony Kerr-Smiley. I say dedicated in the sense of total focus on finding not just a buyer for our recent property, but the right buyer - the only way that can be done is through pure graft, putting in the hours (very often after-hours and Sundays in Nony's case) on the phone and viewing the property with potential buyers. This has not often been our experience with other agents who can very often rely on their name/reputation and website to generate viewings and who so often lack the skill demonstrated by the Charters team of listening to the buyer's needs and thus getting the right person to the property and then having the depth of knowledge of the house and the local market and competition to be able to deal with questions or indeed concerns. Nony has been outstanding in this regard, but there is strength in depth at Charters and I would be confident that any member of the team would be able to show the same levels of skill, knowledge and the necessary determination to secure a buyer for any future property that we bring to market in their increasing large sphere of influence in the South and South East. Thank you Nony, Elliot, Rob and the rest of the team for your considerable and noticeable hard work.

Top Notch Service

From beginning to successful end I've found Charters to be have delivered wonderful service at every stage. They were swift to value my property. The price was higher than I expected but they achieved it so as you can imagine I'm highly delighted. Viewings were efficiently organised. They marketed my property well and I had a huge number of viewings and ultimately 3 offers. Throughout the legal process Jo kept me informed of progress on a weekly basis which had a reassuring effect and kept the angst at bay. My daughter is selling at the moment but using a different agent in the town, so far without luck so I'm urging her to use Charters.
