GoogleWe sold and bought through Charters and found them to be fantastic. Highly professional, knowledgable, patient(!) and always available to talk. They did a brilliant job of selling our property, arranging many viewings and attracting a great number of offers. We were selling and purchasing through Charters. Once we had offers agreed on both sides we were handed over to Jo Goddard who regularly checked in with us to provide updates.The exchange/completion process was complex and at one point fell through. Jo remained plugged into the situation being able to provide up to the minute updates when all parties were frantically trying to determine next steps.A few days later everything went through.

GoogleI instructed Charters on an estate sale. All aspects of their service were excellent right from the first contact to book a valuation. The sale process took a few months but there was always clear communication from Mark and the team. Once we had agreed a sale, the progression team took over and brought the sale to a speedy conclusion. I would highly recommend Charters and would have no hesitation in using them again.

We have just exchanged on a purchase we agreed on 8 months ago, main delay was problems with the mortgage company and a query with the roof that turned out to be a non event.Throughout the whole process the Charters team and particularly Jo Goddard were amazing, constantly updating me with any news and keeping everything together, without her I am sure the deal would have fallen apart.Thanks Team Charters (& Jo)

Charters are very proactive in relation to getting buyers through your door and getting a good price for your property. However once they secured a sale they apeared to wash their hands of the transaction. I bought a new build and had something called "Express Movers" to act as an intermediary between the agents, developers and the mortgage company' Trying to communicate with my buyers was impossible and any request I made for messages to be passed to my buyers was either ignored or met with, and I quote; "As you are aware the New Homes Group do the direct sales chasing" this was from Jo Goodard the Sales Negotiator. It would seem then they were paid £4650 for showing six or seven potential buyers and that was about it. They didn't chase my buyers or facilitate any interaction. They didn't even send an email to confirm the Sale, Thank me for their payment, or even read the meters. If you want to an agent to find you a buyer quickly I can't recommend them highly enough. If you want you poor service, your emails ignored, a sense of apathy and complacency from your your agent so they can sit back and wait for their fees after that point they're very good at that too.
Dear Mr Palmer, after looking through the records here, it would seem that your dissatisfaction should be expressed towards The New Homes Group. As soon as you purhcased a home through them, they made it absolutely clear that we were not allowed to make contact with you. This was relayed to you at the time. The poor communication following this purchase was not at the hands of our sales progression team, we were merely following the guidance given to us by The New Homes Group.
