Enfields help in a recent sale of my flat deserves a public review. The property was marketed efficiently - multiple viewings were arranged quickly, and it was obvious that Enfields had good knowledge of the Southampton area. The initial transaction was complex but when my original buyers dropped out a replacement buyer was found extremely quickly (within 48 hours) and for a price that suited us both, and this sale was completed with minimum fuss. Throughout this process Sam and Shaun in particular were quick to answer emails, called regularly to update on progress and successful completion allowed purchase of a new property. Very grateful for the team's professionalism and happy with service offered.

Having not had the best experience with previous estate agents we were unsure about which (if any) agency we should use to let and manage our property but having read excellent reviews, decided to go with Louise at Enfield’s and it was certainly the best decision we could have made. Louise is exceptional, incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional, she took all the stress out of the letting process, arranging everything for us and keeping us informed at all times. Letting a property through Enfields

I currently let a property through Enfields-Shirely and have done so for the past year. I cannot fault the service provided by Louise Harston and her team. I have previously had a bad experience with a letting agent and was therefore wary to try another agent but I am so impressed by the level of communication and service provided. I would highly recommend anyone looking to let their property and wanting a dedicated and trustworthy lettings manager to get in contact with Louise at the Enfields-Shirley branch.

Utterly frustrating

Utterly frustrating. Went to view a rental property, rang immediately after to put down an offer only to be told that a holding fee had been put down and that the property was already gone. We hadn't been notified at all prior to the viewing. We even had a confirmation phone call the morning of the viewing. The colleague showing us around the property also clearly had no idea this was the case. A complete lack of any sort of communication. An utter waste of people's time! Will not be viewing any future properties through Enfields!

I have just bought my first home, which was sold through Enfields. I could not recommend them more highly - Sam and Shaun in particular were excellent. There were a lot of delays in communications from the seller's solicitor, and they went out of their way to chase these up and try to get the information needed, which I really appreciated. They gave me regular updates, which was very helpful as I was not familiar with the process of buying a home and did not really know what to expect at what stage.Additionally, when I first went to see the flat (and again when I went to measure spaces), I was given plenty of time to ask questions and the person showing me round was honest about some of the flat's faults. This meant that when the survey came back, I didn't lower my offer as I was already expecting there to be a few problems with it and it didn't come as a surprise. Thank you Enfields - I love my new home :-)

They DO NOT rent to disabled people. They only rent to the home-owning guarantor and let the disabled person stay in the property and pay the rent. If you aren't divinely blessed to have a home-owning guarantor in your life, Enfields WILL NOT RENT TO YOU. This is DISCRIMINATION. They are happily complicit in the discrimination against disabled people, they do not care about your individual merit as a renter, they are only interested in your relationships with wealthy individuals. It's DISGUSTING they are able to justify their discrimination through 'landlords' and 'insurance' blah blah blah. They say 'we care' while telling disabled people to 'go to Northwoods instead', washing their hands of all responsibility for housing anyone other than the wealthier working population. If you're disabled, don't even bother contacting this hive of heartless vampires.

I am struggling to find the words to fully express my gratitude to Shaun and the team at Enfields for what they have done for me. Unfortunately I employed probably the worst solicitor in Southampton so Shaun and my buyers solicitor did most of the legal work for me and I never heard from the agent I was buying from during the whole process so Shaun sorted that out as well. I can honestly say that the move would never had happened if it were not for Shaun’s knowledge, experience and sheer hard work and I would not hesitate in recommending Enfields to anyone who wants to sell their property. We recently sold our property through Enfields and were very happy with the service provided. We were fully updated and informed throughout which made the process a lot less stressful. There is a very good sense of team spirit in the Southampton branch and each member of staff was able to help and if not always made sure you got a call back. Agents to be trusted!

I recently bought a property through Enfields. Both Sam and Shaun were on the case from the beginning - taking the property off the market once the offer was accepted, and keeping an eye pro actively on proceedings. I had a previous a very poor experience with a Southampton agent, who acted unethically - borderline illegally, but felt assured from the start of this purchase that I could trust Enfields to act honestly. They would be my choice of agent if I was selling.
