GoogleHad a viewing for a rental property that I loved, and Husnain from Elms was an absolute star in helping me put my offer in, and eventually moving in a week later. Speed of response was spectacular and reassured me throughout the process. This was a big move for me so really grateful for Husnain’s support, and really can’t recommend Elms Estates enough!

Rutland and his team have been managing my properties since 2002 and they are friendly, reliable and always able help resolve any situation. I particularly appreciate how they have helped in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the properties as this is important both for the tenants and for the properties themselves. I have no hesitation in recommending their service.

GoogleI have had a really wonderful experience working with Nasim. It's refreshing to work with an estate agent who clearly cares about people. He 's always quick to respond and help out in any situation and has really put my mind at ease when I was having housing issues. As far as estate agents go, elms really is a top one especially for renting. Would highly reccomend

GoogleWhen I was renting from a local property nearby a couple of years back, one of their estate agents used the t-slur to describe a transgender landlord who employed them. This attitude and mindset seemed fairly embedded into their workplace culture. Scary.

GoogleThe WORST estate agents I have had the mispleasure to have dealings with. Absolute CONMEN. We were supposed to have moved into our flat after being pushed to move in weeks earlier than we had wanted. The place was a still building site, absolutely un inhabitable. We dealt with a thoroughly rude and patronising estate agent (Jade) who laughed in our faces when we said this was unacceptable. She also tried to intimidate and threaten us, claiming if we made a fuss the landlord could pull out (not true since we can’t be evicted currently due to Covid). As well as ignoring our emails. The work STILL hasn’t been completed and we are left without a home. The estate agent has said the property is fine to move into however there is building work everywhere still ongoing, we have no hobs and the bathroom is unusable. Some of our housemates have chronic asthma and therefore it is unsafe for them to be in the property. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS ESTATE AGENT.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Jade has been our main contact at Elms and has always been quick to respond to us, very helpful and friendly. We would definitely use Elms estates again if we return to renting in East London in the future.

We rented through Elms for 4 years, and only stopped being tenants when we bought our own place. They have been excellent landlords, maintained the property we rented very well and were very quick to resolve any issues which arose. We would not hesitate to recommend Rutland and the team to anybody looking to rent.

My daughter (as a student)has rented 2 properties from Elms in the last 5 years. Rutland & his team have always been friendly , helpful & efficient. It is sometimes difficult in London to know who to trust when renting(regarding fees etc) but Elms are certainly a trustworthy firm. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

FacebookELMS is extremely disappointing. Dealing with them was quite acceptable until the coronavirus crisis arrived. Avoid this agency at all costs, because when it comes difficult times or you are in trouble they will take advantage on you. They don’t cooperate, they just watch for their own benefit. Everything is about putting obstacles and muddying the waters. Don’t trust them, their tone has been very threatening. We are four people in a house, some of us lost our jobs and the others got in furlough. As a result, our source of income has been reduced and we did let them know our delicate situation from the beginning. For personal reasons we had to return to our countries of residence and stay with our families. We tried to negotiate with ELMS, I don’t want to give names but they answer late, rude and they took advantage of our situation. We asked them to put our house up for rent and we wanted to speak to our Landlord to break the contract, but they avoided our query and we are still paying the rent after 3 months, even when the house is empty (rent + supply bills + council tax). It seems like they are not making big efforts to let the property or help us, as they are requesting our payment every month, instead of finding new tenants to replace us.

GoogleWe’ve been using Elms as our letting agent for our property for 6+ years. They’ve removed so much concern from the letting process. Rutland the owner is incredibly authentic and honest about fees - which I find to be fair. I used to live in the area and helped organise a few community projects such as a communal herb and flower garden nearby. Rutland very generously donated to help us fund this. This left me with the impression that he is the type of person that genuinely wants to improve the area. I also like that they take a hands on approach to fixing problems. Rather than send a tradesperson to fix a simple issue such as a fuse, they visit the property first. Special thanks to Jade who has done this many times.

GoogleMy flat mate and I have used Elms estate for the last three years and have only good things to say about them. I myself lived in the UK for 9 years and have met and dealt with many estate agents that have been less than but Elms has been nothing but perfect. Customer service is amazing, the response time is excellent and if there was ever an issue they would be straight on it. No hassle and extremely professional and personable. If I still lived in the UK I would use them. I want to especially thank Villy and Gabriella for being so amazing and always so wonderful to deal with.
