GoogleSpoke to this branch about a place on Cyncoed Road, no exclusions listed on the properties listing. On the phone to the letting agent and as I mentioned I was pregnant she said it wasn't possible to go ahead with the property due to the landlord not wanting children. I have since looked into the legalities of this and there are a few they should have complied with rather than a flat "no". I'd heard bad things about Moginie James but gave them the benefit of the doubt, wouldn't not reccomend. I will also be making an official complaint and seeking legal advice.

GoogleI have just recently sold and bought my property through the Cyncoed office. If I could rate them above 5 stars I would! Their level of customer service was extraordinary, Andrew came to value my home and I dealt with Karen regarding the offers who was regularly in touch..even at 8pm at night! I am so grateful for their help and support in making the whole process less daunting and stress free. Thank you to all of the team.

GoogleWhat a journey I've had. After a lengthly and trying refurb to a house I bought, Cameron from Moginie James politely checked in each month until I was ready. I was then referred on to James who was helpful in setting me up with a part mangaged contract for letting. As a first time landlord I am grateful to Moginie James for their patience and great communication (they emailed or called back the same day) in answering questions I had. I highly recommend them.

Moginie James have been excellent throughout the sales and purchasing of our property and soon to be new home. The team at MJ have gone out of their way to ensure the stressful process has been minimised throughout. We originally had three estate agents to value our property and MJ came across as honest, personable and willing to go the extra distance in promoting our home which is why we chose them to act on our behalf - a decision we are glad we made; from Andrew with the initial valuation and many viewings, Martin to coming round at 7 in the morning to take a picture of the house and conducting the viewings, Aaron holding viewings outside of normal hours and Karen whose personality, organisation and constantly keeping us in the loop made the experience, dare I say, pleasurable! Huge thanks to the team and I would recommend their services to anyone wishing to buy or sell within Cardiff

I recently purchased my first property through Moginie James, where Karen was working at the time. From Day one, she was extremely helpful and couldnt be anymore assertive to my needs and wants. Karen, was very patient and as you can imagine i didnt really know what i needed to do for my first property. However, Karen bent over backwards to help me make my decision and also provided me with the resources, time and appointments in order to so. I can't praise Karen enough, and hope every property i purchase in the future is through her. Keep smiling and keep up the amazing work!!

Natalie was incredibly friendly, helpful and put my mind at rest when dealing my my query. She offered me positive advice and went out of her way to solve my problem and soon as she could. Natalie told me she would call me back once she had spoken to our landlord and I was pleasantly surprised when she called me back within 10 mins. She also had the maintenance team sort out our problems that day. I wasn't expecting it to be so quick and so was a lovely surprise when i got home from work to see it fixed! Natalie had brilliant customer service, was great on the phone and made me feel at ease for something that I had prepared myself to be stressful and a long wait.! Super service and super impressed! Thanks Natalie!

Having not rented a property in many many years, I was feeling completely out of my comfort zone about what to do now and what to expect. I met with Ceri Jardine, Lettings manager, who was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This gave me confidence that things would go as planned which indeed they did. The flat was rented quickly and I felt the MJ team helped me through the whole experience. I particularly want to mention that Ceri and Cat were very supportive and professional in their dealings with me. Based on this experience I would hesitate to recommend MJ as an agent for letting property.

We found the property we wanted to buy before we sold our house which created a concern that it wouldn't be on the market when ours sold. We were shown around the property twice both by enthusiastic agents. Martin was great, his knowledge of the house, area and the sellers position was great. We also sold our house through Morginie James and found this to be effective too. The information was clear. Any problems we ran into were addressed in a timely fashion. The solicitor that was recommended was also great. Friendly, professional agents that I would definitely recommend.

I have always found the staff I deal with at Moginie James ,Letting Dept in Cyncoed Office in Cardiff to be friendly,polite and efficient.The names of the staff I usually deal with are Ceri,Harriet,Cat and Dave. I have four properties which I let out in Cardiff and always use Moginie James,as the tenants they have introduced and have found for me have caused me no bother whatsoever. ITo sum up I receive a first class service and will continue to use Moginie James in the future..

Moginie James rented our apartment within an hour, pretty much (March 2016). It hadn't even been listed (we hadn't even finished moving out). The very friendly and professional member Ceri visited and inspected the property on the Friday, and called back within an hour to say they had suitable tenants. They viewed it on the Monday and took the place. Have used Moginie James for years because they have good distribution across Cardiff, and maintain professional standards – staff always clued-up and on the ball whether that's on the sales or lettings side.

Everyone who i've spoken to from booking the viewing, making an offer, receiving the 'congratulations your offer has been accepted' phone call, and guidance i'm receiving with my next steps has been exemplary. As a first time buyer, the whole process is so daunting, but Cat and her colleagues in the Albany Road branch has made everything so much easier. The team has been so patient and accommodating with my questions. They're always happy to help and respond very, very quickly to my emails. I'm also never ringing for very long before they answer the phone. I'd spoken to a few other estate agents on my quest to find my perfect first home, and the service from Moline James really does stand out. I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

FacebookI called the cyncoed office about viewing some property and spoke to Ceri Jardine, whom after I spoke just hung up on me. I called again and she did not answer me. It went straight to answer phone. I do not think this is appropriate behaviour for an interested customer/client. I do think Ceri Jardine should be reminded that it is clients like me that pay her wage. Her behaviour is disgraceful.
