Moginie James Cyncoed really were top class from start to finish in the sale of our house. Everyone we met who works there was super friendly, helpful and always put us first.
They managed to sell our house within 1 week, and if that wasn't good enough... when our sale fell through, they sold it in 1 week again! Couldn't have asked for anything more.
The only slight negative I have is that they recommended we used lifetime legal who appointed Spicketts Battrick in Cardiff as our solicitor. Our personal solicitor was difficult to deal with at times and I wish we had gone with a solicitor that had an online platform as we'd have had much better visibility and communication.
However, Moginie's service was so good that they really deserve 5 stars. Thank you to the whole team.

I found the the lettings team in Moginie James Cyncoed very responsive and professional. Abigail was exceptionally good and very professional. She called me when I and the landlord were happy to proceed with letting she asked me if I would like a physical viewing. She was very flexible with time as well as I was a little late for the viewing appointment, which was really kind of her.
Overall it's been a pleasure dealing with Moginie James. I now know that if I buy a property in Cardiff then Moginie James are the ones who would be my first contact.

GoogleAfter entrusting Moginie James with the management of our property for 7 years, the state in which it was returned to us is nothing short of shocking. Throughout our tenure, we encountered recurring issues with invoicing and maintenance, but nothing prepared us for the devastation we found upon returning to our apartment.
In March 2023, we were notified that the floor required maintenance. We paid for partial floor and joist repairs, and Moginie James assured us the work had been completed and the floor was now fit for purpose. However, upon our return, we discovered a gaping hole in the floor and extensive damage to the bathroom floor that requires complete replacement.
Despite their claims of managing and maintaining the property, Moginie James failed spectacularly. The checkout report noted minor damage to the flooring, which they dismissively categorized as "Lino damage." When confronted about the severe issues, Moginie James attempted to shift the blame onto the tenant, falsely claiming it was their responsibility to sign off on the work. Their response of "tough luck" demonstrates a complete disregard for their responsibilities as property managers. If you are paid to manage and maintain a property, basic upkeep and oversight are expected, something Moginie James clearly failed to deliver.
To add insult to injury, we were paying an additional amount for insurance in case a tenant defaulted on payment, only to find out that such insurance did not exist. Our tenants were also treated poorly, Moginie James lost our keys and did not hand over all the keys that were provided by us. They then had the audacity to try to charge us for their mistake!
The condition in which they returned the property to us is appalling and has caused a substantial financial burden. We are currently in the process of collating all necessary information and have commenced legal action against Moginie James for their gross mismanagement and failure to uphold their contractual obligations.
Absolutely useless. Must do better.
